“As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the entire family which was so nice and they explained how they make everything from scratch and you can definitely tell by the flavor. So glad to have this spot in my neighborhood and will be coming back again. Check it out!“

“Whether you want a simple scoop or a really fancy sundae whose toppings rival the craziness of a done-up Bloody Mary, only with sweet stuff... Black Rock Desserts has you covered. They're always making new flavors (ice cream is made in-house), and will give you a sample of anything you'd like to try.I personally like to get a split single scoop (yep, you can even do a single scoop with TWO flavors) with whichever flavors look good!Tonight was passionfruit and strawberry chocolate. Marlin added a few suggested toppings, and it was absolutely worth it. Trust him if he makes a suggestion!I love their deep chocolate, and the Ube is so delicious.I'm so grateful this place is in town, and love coming here.“

“The staff is super nice and are more than happy to let you know about all of the bomb flavor selections! The paletas are made in house and there's so many options available! I happened to pick up: oreo, Ferrero Rocher, cocoa puff, pistachio, and prickly pear! I always look forward to trying a different flavor every time. They also have other delicious concoctions available for your heart's desire. Having them down the street is a slippery slope!“

“I'm not a big fan of the cheesecake frosting they use on a lot of their cookies BUT I do love all of their chocolate cookies. I am obsessed with the chocolate cookies and cream cookie I love doing the order ahead in the app for an easy curbside pick up!!“

“Went here on a late Friday night and was so glad we put in an order online before picking up. When I got there only 1 person was working and it was so busy!!! I felt so sorry for her and message to the owners: do NOT have just 1 person working on a weeknight, shame on you! Poor girl was literally doing everything and people kept coming in. I'm giving her 5 stars because she was as quick as she could with our drink orders and could tell others were not as happy waiting. That's not her fault at all! The drinks were amazing and was very surprised there's decent boba in Reno (yay!)“
“Best Ice Cream/Chocolate shop in Reno! Customer service is great every worker has a smile on their face and is very friendly. Be prepared to wait a little longer during the Summer season, this place is booming! This location is very well stocked and smells like freshly made chocolate.“

“I love ice cream! We found this gem, The exotic milk shake bar reno, it had many choices. Bryant was great and very patient while I decided on which milkshake I wanted. It was made with hand scooped ice cream. Soooo yummy! I will definitely be stopping in here again as well as recommending it to others. Byrant's conversation and personality also made the experience that much better.“
“Really cute ice cream shop. My kids have been watching rolled ice cream on YouTube and have been dying to go to one. It is connected to Dorinda's chocolate shop with is cute. The staff were 3 young men who were nice and welcoming. Excited to see us which was nice. We ordered 3 ice creams, peaches n cream, cherry and coffee. All were really good and reasonably priced ( about 8.50 each). It's not as creamy as cold stone or other ice cream places but still good. There's no inside seating which is a bummer because it was raining outside and the outdoor seating was all wet but overall good experience.“
“Small place, slow service. Toms of cycling decor. I ordered a chocolate malt as usual and a Bloke's spokes roast beef sandwich. They cut all the meats for the sandwiches, which is a nice touch, but adds to wait. The sandwich and malt were so good, I stopped by again when I had to return to Reno the following day. A caution: watch your step when arriving and departing. The walkway is two level and I slipped off the curb and went down, losing 3/4 of my malt. Actually broke my finger. Be careful!“
“I don't always crave a milkshake, but when I do it's going to be a Carmelita's Crazy milkshake. After following Carmelita's on Instagram for a few months, I fell in love with their beautifully crafted milkshakes. I had to try one!I was the only person in the shop when I first walked in, but I was happy to have the time to casually read through all of the menu options (there are a lot of options). No rush from the staff behind the counter. I finally settled on a Ferrero Rocher milkshake. It's my favorite candy, and so few places have it as a flavor option--I had to have it. The shakes only come in 1 size and most are $7.99. The price might seem a bit high for a shake, but it is definitely worth every penny! The shake was not too thick and easy to sip on right away. Somehow the shake didn't get too runny--even towards the end, after 20-25 minutes. The garnishment and presentation is what brought me in initially, and the tastiness and consistency of this shake is what will keep me coming back.“

“I'm really big on smoothies and this has been my favorite spot to pick them up when I don't want to make them. The fresh cashewmilk is what sets them apart to me. If you enjoy nut milks, theirs is quality and no junk added. I do enjoy other smoothie spots but none of them have compared to here personally. The pb health nut smoothie is one of my major food obsessions. I get them at least weekly. Not entirely sure if this company spreads past the west coast. I found them initially in Reno and there are a couple in Southern California too.The staff at this location and the one in Spanish Springs is always really nice. They have have an app for easy ordering and pick up that includes your 1st smoothie free.“

“First time experiencing this latinx culinary delight. Muy bueno. I ordered the chamango, with mango, chamoy, tajin and candies and spices. It was delicious and an experience for the taste buds! Sweet, salty, tangy, and spicy. All sorts of popsicles and ice creams. A nice place where you can sit and enjoy your treats. Servers were very nice and helpful as I had no clue what to order!Located on Neil and Moana, Easy access. Not too crowded on a weekend. Saw some buddies from the gym, so it can't be all that fattening! Great experience. Going to try the raspado (shaved ice) next time!“

“This has become a dessert stop must when at the Reno Public Market. During the Super Bowl party my friend and I had talked about hitting the Churro bar up, while we were here and possibly splitting something. We went with the Churro funnel cake, only bummer was one of the sauces that I wanted- Cajeta we were informed was no longer on the menu (even though it was still on the menu) lol. But aside from that it was a mountain of amazing goodness that we both enjoyed. Definitely will be back to try other goodies when at the Public Market!“

“I took my daughter to get her first ever frozen yogurt. We eat gluten-free and we were able to find several flavors that were gluten-free. There are some fat-free options, too (and, they are still quite tasty). There are toppings as well. For the options we chose, the price is by weight. While the food is good, the staff is only there to check you out. I've been here 3 times now and all 3 times, I have to wait around for the staff member to show up and then they just check us out and disappear again. Now that I know what I am doing, that's not a big deal. The first time, it was a guessing game as there was no staff to be found until we had already figured it out. It's buffet style, so just go and do what everyone else is doing.Flavors change, but I put pictures on here to give you an idea.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available.“

“Came in at a very hot day to get something to cool me off. Got 3 flavors of ice cream on a cup, Cookie Monster, Spanish vanilla and the mocha. Was very good and good thing I didn’t get it in a cone because it started melting as soon as I got to the car!“

“Searched “best healthy ish dessert in Reno” and landed here. Once I saw the gelato I was sold, I sampled a few (cute mini metal spoons, sustainable?) then settled on Bart’s Revenge which was peanut butter & butterfinger & salted caramel. I got the double which was a huge portion - next time I’d go single. We asked the gal serving some questions and turns out she makes the gelato and I believe is the owner! Sweet and delightful and locally owned, they support local farmers and dairies. I will come back for the espresso float, some day“
“Marshmallow Caramels! Bought a bag to try and share and OH MY❣️❣️❣️ The caramel was so smooth and chewy, not hard like the others.Sign says Free Samples but the guy only had 1cmx1cm white chocolate ?? - more like a crumb. It’s Valentine's! What the heck? I wanted to sample their milk chocolate to buy some and he said no. I was shocked because other places offer samples….oh well. The caramel was awesome! I’ll stick to my Swedish milk chocolate.“

“Realized everything was closing. Was down the street, called the business to make sure they were open, and they said they started shutting down at 6:30 but stayed open for us to make it. My kids have been wanting to go since it's been popular on Facebook. This place should have way more stars than it does. Everything tasted perfect. Not everyone is secure or outgoing, so that shouldn't be a reason for negative reviews. They are lucky they have someone working that is dependent. She did a wonderful job. There's nothing to complain about. I wish I could give more stars for going above and beyond. Don't forget to tip. I feel bad cause we brought a crowd. But after 7, they had to shut down. It's mall policy, so don't be mad and take it out on someone just following the rules at their job.“
“9.9.23: It was a nice sun shining Saturday and Yogurt Beach was calling our names! What I love about this shop is the endless combinations of fro-yo and toppings. It's genius and really convenient that you're charged by the ounce. The flavors of fro-yo change on a regular and the toppings always seem fresh such as with the fruits, and the gummies aren't usually hard, and cookies/grahams never seem to be stale. I always tend to try and divide my cup in half, with one side fruity and the other side chocolatey. Of course, I always go overboard and over do it even when I tell myself I'm not getting a lot this time. The ambience was chill and not too busy. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day.“
“Sweet Paradise is the best ice cream and confectionary experience you will EVER have. EVER. The selection here is great, something for everybody yet the quality stays consistently 5 star across the entire menu. These guys clearly take what they do seriously and it shows in the food and sweets they serve. The portions are EXTREMELY generous for the prices. You're basically paying Cold Stone prices for a product that tastes 10x better and has infinitely more personality. As a matter of fact, if Sweet Paradise doubled their prices, I would still consider it a bargain and would continue to dine here without question. Amazing ice cream, amazing snacks, amazing people. If you are driving around the Reno/Sparks area and spot these guys. PLEASE stop by and try it, I am sure you wont regret it.“

“This place is so cute! If you need a place to practice your Spanish and have a great snack, you have to come here. Located in the Sun valley area right beside Little City Gun. They just opened up about a month ago. It has ice cream, nachos, Mexican candy, agua fresca, and much more. This is a family-owned business. There is plenty of parking because it's located in the shopping center. I opted in for pineapple raspados (flavored shaved ice) and some nachos with jalapenos. It was delicious. The workers speak English and Spanish. They were really nice. I recommend checking this place out if you're in the Sun valley area or in Sparks. It wasn't far at all. Their snacks do not disappoint.“
