“Discovered this churros truck at Food Truck Friday and couldn't be happier that they choose to set up shop here on a regular. I went with a Churro Shake and an order of Churros bites. The shake totally tastes like a drinkable Churro and they give you a Churro straw, which is my favorite part. Also I love Carmel sauce at the bottom of the cup when you get to the end. This is my favorite Churros spot because I have yet to find any other Churro with this light airy crisp yet soft texture. Usually I find churros to be made with a heavier like dough, but not at Churros Huesos! They've mastered the cook and the cinnamon sugar mixture is the perfect blend.“
“My wife and I stopped by for lunch not knowing it was a Hawaiian BBQ. Ordered the Kalua Pork and the Teri Chicken Nachos. Both dishes were great. Halfway through our meals we switched plates, my wife preferred the Kalua Pork and I the Teri Chicken. The chicken was the tenderest I've ever had. Big portions, we made two meals from them. Highly recommend.“
“Oh, a hidden gem that needs me to show it some love! The food and service here are excellent! The menu prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. I have tried the same Ono Pork plate 3 times now because it is so so good! The macaroni salad is on point. I recently tried the Kalua Pork plate, and was not disappointed. The meat was tender and moist. I highly recommend either. Try their Spam Musubi for something a little different. The dining room has about 10 tables. It feels more like a place at home rather than a restaurant. Obviously family is very important to the owners, because of all the family photos on that wall. I love it! The staff have always been very pleasant. I'm getting hungry just writing this review, and think I will take another drive to Aloha Shack!“
“Bomb food. Google says they're still in lemmon valley, but they've been at the gas station on the corner of Keystone and west 7th consistently for months. Haven't tried everything, but so far: the shrimp tacos, carne asada fries, churros, and tamales have been the best. Got a side of pozole for free to try and it was excellent. Always nice service.“
“First time in but not the last. Great asada taco, really enjoyed the cheese shell. The tinga was a little spicy for me but that's a personal preference. They offer 50% of alcohol on Tuesday and my Pacific was $2.90. What a deal! Will definitely be back.“
“This is my absolute go to for Friday nights when I can't decide what I want or don't wanna cook. I've been living in my house for about 8 years now and I don't remember when they first showed up here but I've definitely paid them numerous visits and watched them grow. I love Mexican style hotdogs. Every place loads it up a little bit differently and I can confidently say I like this one the bests they also offer a couple variations of burgers, bacon wrapped peppers and a variety of bottled beverages. The husband and wife that own it are super nice people. More recently they've got some help with running things which is nice to see them take turns getting to have a break. I haven't tried their burgers because I love the hotdog so much. The hot dog buns are baked fresh from scratch and are oh so soft. If you want to stop by and check them out they're typically stationed by the Jiffy Lube on the corner of Oddie and Sullivan Thursday-Saturday. They have an instagram that they post when they're out or are posting up at a different location for an event or something.“
“A hot day at the Legends of Beer event back in September brought me to this taco truck, which was one of the food vendors. I LOVE tacos so had to give them a try. Being filled up with beer and needing to pace myself I ordered some Birria tacos. Seems like you find Birria everywhere these days but man Lety's makes a mean and tasty one. If you stumble upon this truck while out and about definitely give them a try.“
“First time there yesterday and ordered chicken tikka masala. The food was Fire I just wished they put more chicken in. Chicken portion was very low. I think I had about 4 maybe 5 pieces mostly it was the sauce. I did request extra sauce but just wished they threw in more chicken. Aside from that I will def be going there again. If I gotta pay extra for more chicken I’d do that because that was the best chicken tikka masala I’ve had in Reno/sparks area.“
“Cheesesteak Garlic fries The cheesesteak and cheese whiz was really good! The bread was soft, the meat was tender and flavorful(maybe slightly salty for some people), and the cheese whiz was a good consistency. I also loved that there were different cheese options but you know that I had to get the original cheese whiz. This was a solid cheesesteak and I will definitely order it again. I like that they offer a 6" and a 10". I opted for the 6" since I wanted to try the garlic fries. The garlic fries were very average. There was a ton of garlic but not a lot of garlic flavor. It definitely tastes like minced garlic from a jar tossed into the fries. This would be much better with fresh garlic. I would put money that the cheese fries are delicious though. I would love to try the onion rings next!“
“This restaurant is a hidden gem in Sun Valley. Interior is very clean, bright and decorated so cute. Karla gave us the best service! We started with one of the bloody Mary's and some fresh squeezed orange juice. The orange juice was amazing and the Bloody Mary was good, but my second cocktail (michelada) was amazing! Made perfectly and so refreshing. Perfect start to my weekend! For entrees we had biscuits and gravy and verde chilaquiles. Portions are large here which is good because the food is so great you want to just keep eating! Great dining experience and worth the short drive to Sun Valley!“
