“The delectable menu offered a range of top quality foods, from generic steaks to exquisite salads, the menu was a step above most eateries. There was ample wait staff, the service was top notch. Very little wait time. Our medium rare steak was the right amount of medium and the right amount of rare. The cauliflower soup was bursting with flavor as was the tuna tartar. Overall it was an excellent experience & the "tasting menu" was excellent bang for the buck.“

“Pleasantly surprised, I went with my family to celebrate my parents 33rd wedding anniversary and we loved it! Service was exceptional and the food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and we thought the variety was good. I would choose this over the “nicer” looking chain Brazilian stakes house at the mall any day. “Last night, my family and I visited the Roots Steakhouse, Ridgewood location to celebrate a special birthday occasion. We were greeted with impeccable service from our server, who catered to our needs flawlessly. The cuisine, as always, was simply delightful. While enjoying our meal, a small mishap occurred where a drink was accidentally spilled onto the floor, splashing onto my sports coat. The server promptly expressed sincere apologies and notified their supervisor. To our surprise, Larry, the general manager, personally approached our table to offer his sincere apologies and assistance. Despite my reassurances that accidents happen, Larry insisted on arranging for the dry cleaning of my coat and even offered to deliver it to my home. Although I declined his kind offer, Larry ensured that I could submit the dry cleaning bill for reimbursement. As we concluded our meal, we were pleasantly surprised when Larry sent over an assortment of complimentary desserts from the menu. His professionalism and genuine care during this incident were truly commendable. This review is not intended to critique the staff but to express heartfelt gratitude to Larry and his team for their exceptional handling of an unfortunate situation.“

“I came here with mymom and son after a VERY long day filled with tubing, hiking and shopping. After eating things on the go all day, we were looking for a nice spot to sit and relax with a good meal. Fireside did not disappoint. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. We had the clam chowder amd calamari. The chowder was probably the best I have ever had, and I am very picky. It was so creamy amd fresh. The calamari was fried perfectly, not oily and paired well with their sauce. We had the chicken Fresca and 6 oz lobster tail with twice baked potatoes. Everything was delicious! We could not have been more happy that we chose this restaurant. To top it off, we asked my son what he wanted for dessert and he said he wished they had red velvet. This is one of his favorites but most restaurants never have it. To our surprise, when the waitress came over to tell us desserts that was the first on the list! Needless to say, my son was very happy. The cake was fantastic!!! We will be back and recommend anyone passing through or staying near by to make a stop here. You won't be disappointed!“

“We came on Easter Sunday for lunch as a family of 4 adults and 3 children and we were treated like family. The staff was amazing, they checked in on us multiple times and filled our water every time we needed a refill without having to ask. The bread they serve is warm and tasty and the calamari was perfect.Small negatives: the rib eye steak needed seasoning and the shrimp scampi was nothing special, a little salty… my favorite dish was probably the branzino and the Brussels sprouts.I would return!“
