“My wife and I stopped in for a bite on the way back from Seneca Lake on a Monday around 5:30 PM. Moderate size crowd with plenty of seating available. We were seated right away and our waitress showed up moments later. Impressive menu. Wife had the Patty Melt and I had their 1/2 pound deluxe burger. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Delicious milkshakes. Saw many items on the menu that we will be back to try. Spanakopita was one. Cake and desert selection was fantastic looking and would go back just for that. We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“My 2 boys and I were passing through and were looking for a place to have breakfast. After reading reviews we decided to come here and we had such a nice experience. We were instantly greeted when we walked in the door and the displays of goodies were enticing. We ordered a few breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and a cinnamon roll, and we were all very pleased with the food and how friendly the staff was. They had a good variety of sandwiches, breakfast, options, bakery goods, and drinks… If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend!“

“Very friendly employees over here at this Lucky Hare. This place definitely has very good food and they also have non-alcoholic options like regular or diet sodas. Not only that, they have awesome open mics like once a week, trivia like once an other week and they also have LIVE music like every other Fridays or other Saturdays. I highly recommend going there for when you are either hungry, thirsty or when you feel like listening to some music. This place is the best!“

“It's a dreary cool, damp day in mid April. Clouds are doing the usual thing in Broome County. Since I needed a spring sheering I decided to stop at Franks on The Avenue for a cut. Lucky I went as they are beginning a major reconstruction on The Avenue. Well I got my hairs cut and since it was close to lunch I decided to check out The Original Italian Pizza just a few doors down from Franks. I go in the back door and was immediately greeted. Since I was going to take my order home I asked, "How fast can you finish up a cheese and pepperoni?" The answer was "7 minutes." OK ! Outstanding! Anyway the pizza is finished, I pay, load it into the car and head home. A few minutes later I open the box and theres this beautiful pizza begging to be eaten....and I did. This pizza took me back to a great NY pizza. Thin crust, just crispy enough. The sauce, uniform, tasty, not sweet, not watery. The cheese to die for with great stretch. Now onto the fold...a work of art. This is by far one of the great pizzas in the area. Great flavor and reasonably priced. They're open Mondays thru Friday 10 to 10. They have a nice size dining area and have a nice menu including stromboli, calzone, salads, spaghetti and subs. Now as I waited I noticed a kind of silent conversation taking place as orders were being taken and modified then delivered to waiting customers with everything to perfection. Not only does that speak of repeat customers but a caring staff that knows their customers and thats a great thing. I don't know why I didn't stop by sooner but it's definitely worth it.“

“All the positive review comments you read about this place are correct. It is "MacDonalds" fast for "Crackerbarrel" quality food. Our waitress, Michelle" gave us a recommendation to visit Gettysburg which we did and it was a 5-star attraction.“

My Chicken Marsala was perfectly cooked w/ a tasty sauce and loaded with mushrooms. So yummy! And the Utica Greens...I could eat every day of my life!? “Traveling home from a wedding in Columbus OH to home in Maine we pinned the halfway point to stop over. We discovered this gem of a restaurant of MJ's on the Susquehanna River in historic Owego, NY. We dined ohe deck by the river. We ate the butter lettuce pockets of vegetables and a Greek salad. DELICIOUS! Having been so sensible with our vegetarian supper we shared the pan cooked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Great service, decor, funk factor, clean and good. We may live 8 hours away, but this dining experience makes it worth returning for. Plus there are plenty of interesting places to see in this part of NY.“

I grew up right outside of Philly and lived in NYC for a few years so it’s been a bit of a sacrifice moving upstate where it’s harder to find as many stellar restaurants. We loved Moon Star and were so excited to find a new spot that we love and are impressed with. Their Crispy Garlic Chicken is sooo good!“

“This place is lovely. I've been going for 5 years, and here's what I love: The owner and the waitresses make an effort to remember you. They remember your favorite orders, how you like them, and sometimes you can come in and get what you want without having to ask. The eggs are incredible. I tried the eggs at the diner down the road on 17C, they were abysmal. But the eggs here at Harris Diner are always perfect, not too "eggy" in taste, but rather light and pleasant. Coffee is fresh, they have great soup, and one of the waitresses cooks some great pies, which gives you a wide dessert selection. If I had one minor complaint, the prices have gone up a little. But the service, quality of the food, ambience, and the familial interactions with Mr. Harris and his company are all worth it. Please stop by if you're traveling, you won't regret it!“

“I was road tripping with my friends yesterday from Ottawa to NYC. Maine, NY, was one of our stops and got introduced to Frank’s Restaurant. The food was amazing, I had a grilled salmon over risotto and the atmosphere was great. We met this incredible host, he offered us to sit at the bar and have some drinks until our table got ready, and surprisingly it was quick. Would definitely stop by on my way back to Ottawa.“

“I've been here with my son twice while dropping him off or picking him up from the local SUNY school. Once in Dec 2023 for dinner and again in Mar 2024 for breakfast. The first time both of our meals were superb -- quickly prepared and delivered, with good service. I had a piece of cake to go that was also quite good. However, the second time, for breakfast, the food was merely OK and the service merely adequate. We'll be going back for dinner again, but for breakfast will try other local diners before returning. Oh yes, I got carrot cake takeout for my wife -- she thought there was too much and too sweet a frosting and so removed 2/3rds of it...but it looked somewhat typical to me.“

“Food was very inexpensive but still pretty tasty. Got a couple of egg rolls and the garlic eggplant dish. Egg rolls tasted exactly like the ones I love from every Chinese restaurant... The eggplant had a comforting, easy taste to it that was not very spicy and the white rice that came with it was fine. The people working at the restaurant were all extremely friendly and got our order out to us very quickly. There's a little cemetery from the 1800s that you can walk to down the street while your food is being made, and the park is right there if you want to eat it outside. All told for the price it hit the spot and I will likely go back there every so often for a tasty bite.“

An institution in Endwell New York since 1942.Good food at good prices.Tonight I ordered the Southwest Burger with curly fries.The burger topped with: bacon, onion rings, Chipotle mayo, jalapeños, lettuce and tomato.Had a nice taste. The jalapeños and Chipotle mayo, give it the right amount of heat.The bacon and onion rings gave added flavor.The menu has a wide variety of options pizza, wraps, salads, sandwiches, burgers even a kids menu.I even know someone who has a drink named after them at the Galley.Give them a try for good food with a great atmosphere.“
