“I have not been to this store in years. Did not disappoint . Staff is friendly and helpful . I purchased items off the shelves which yes pricey but hard to find anywhere else locally. Also, purchased Mac salad and chicken cutlets and all was delicious. I will be going back to try their other items in the near future. “Love this quirky yet cozy and super-cool spot. A great thing about Troy is the old buildings there have cool nook-like spaces such as this. The wood fired wings were really good - not straight down the middle typical Buffalo wings, but very good (with top notch bleu cheese.). “Medium” had just the right amount of heat for us. Pizza was very good too. Look forward to going back. Recommend.“

“We ordered 1/2 trays of chicken parm, eggplant parm and more. Everything was perfecto and everyone loved the food. It was our first time using DeFazio's to cater and we will do it again for sure. Highly recommend and kudos to the chefs!!!! Also loved the mini cannolis and genets!!!“

“I grew up in the Lansingburgh area so I've known about Verdiles for many years. For those that do not know Verdiles, it is a family run restaurant and back when they first started it was their mother who made the pasta sauce and meatballs. Her recipes are still used today. I love going there, the staff is very warm and welcoming. Everyone is treated like family. The atmosphere reminds me of a 1960's Italian restaurant. They have made many updates and changes to the restaurant but it still has that vibe. I love looking at all the pictures of the Verdiles family that are around the restaurant. I recommend their homemade pasta with your meal. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. You can't go wrong.“

“Wow, I'm Italian and felt like my grandmom was in the back cooking. Everything had was amazing! Lidia, the co-owner, waited on us. She took the time to talk with us and made us feel truly special. Only problem was that I ate too much because everything was so good. We started with the special olive oil dip and bread. I would normally never mention this, but it was amazing, enjoyed sharing the roasted red peppers salad with my spouse. Sooo good! I had the Chicken/eggplant Parmesan combination. Amazing! Amy, my spouse, had the Chicken Milanese. She loved it! We had enough for leftovers for the next day and I can't believe that it tasted even better the next day! We were full, but had to try the lemon/blueberry cake for dessert. Everything was on point! Warm environment with great food and better people! Thank you Lidia!!!“

“We rented the upstairs dining room for my partner's birthday - 20 people. Maeve was great helping plan (and putting up with our shifting guest list and dietary needs), Chef Jake put together an excellent tasting menu and executed it so well. Service was great, the space was perfect for the party...the night could not have gone better!“

“Today we tried Zia's burgers! This was a great burger! Done perfectly. We had a large order with people over so we had it delivered. The delivery person was on time, very helpful and nice. We had their Salad which was large, delicious and filling. The Chicken Parm sub was so large we have more for tomorrow. Looks like Pizza is not the only thing they do well! Feel free order from their extensive menu, it's all great! See the photo- I love the "Z" on the roll!“

“My diet is vegetarian/gf. Wish they had had GF bread. Wish they had had GF Linguine or spaghetti. The salad was great. The sautéed spinach as well. Service too. Just wish there had been more options for me with my dietary restrictions. Ambiance was very mediocreDietary restrictions: Not enough options for vegetarian/gluten free, in my opinion. Although the house salad was very nice, as was the sautéed spinachI am always appreciative when there is nice warm gf bread to dip into the yummy looking olive oil. It would have been nice to have gf breadWe were a relatively large party of 8 on a Thursday and the service was attentive, not intrusive. I would normally insert name here but I didn’t catch it as I left before the check was dropped“

“I’ve been ordering from Inferno for a couple years since I moved to Troy and I’ve always had good experiences! I really love how they give their stuff a little homemade touch. I mentioned it was my birthday and asked for a cat on my box and they came through! Totally made my night “

“We went here tonight to celebrate my brother's birthday- his choice. The place is very small but it's comfortable. It was a busy Friday night but not once was the crowd overbearing or loud. It felt like we were all just hanging out...chilling. It was actually really awesome how it felt like that. The bartender welcomed us when he realized we were waiting for a table and the waitresses were all very genuinely friendly. Just felt like a nice little family spot you know? The food was amazing and tasted homemade and not the typical "frozen food microwaved or heated up" you find at restaurants. The pasta fagioli was to die for. So much flavor and not heavy at all. The pizza crust we had was a bit dry but the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I loved our waitress. She was truly a wonderful young lady and I'm sorry I forgot her name. Never did we feel rushed or pressured. What a new hidden gem. Thank you for a relaxing night!Parking: parking was a bit of a hassle but people snuck over to the mechanic next door or in back to park!Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant doesn't have stairs to the entrance (has handicapped parking spaces as well!) and can most likely fit a wheelchair or walker through the door- but just call ahead of time to make sure!“

“First time visit to La Perla in Averill Park, NY Thursday 8/17/23 6:30pm reservation. We came because of the music by The Next Chapter, Alan Saunders & Mike Derrico formerly of the Good for the Soul band that played at our wedding in 2006. They were set up in an nice courtyard at the rear of the restaurant, but an hour later had to move inside due to the rain.Very prompt service by the staff. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. We settled on two appetizers: eggplant rollatini ($20) and the clams casino ($22). Note: clams are offered in 6 different styles. Italian style entrees from $18-33, more for specialty fish entrees i.e. zuppa de pesce $51. This is a fine dining restaurant offering well prepared and a variety of dinners. Bill was $100. for two meals & four alcoholic beverages. We ended our evening at the unique bar & dining area where we could still see & hear the band. This place also offers overnight accommodations & is an event venue.A very good first visit here.Restaurant Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday4PM - 9PMFriday & Saturday4PM - 10PMSunday3pm-9pmRestaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
