“I recently had dinner at The Lake House and it was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfectly matches its beautiful lakeside setting — it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed.

The food was outstanding — everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they do. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines great food, amazing service, and a view like that all in one place. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a nice night out, The Lake House is definitely worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!”

“I cannot even begin to say how amazing this place is. They spared no expense decorating and renovating this space. The food was fantastic and is very reasonably priced. They have a huge center bar and lots of Hibachi tables and seating if you are getting Sushi. PLUS a robot brought our food! Ask for Alec! He took great care of us!”

“My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! Can’t wait to come back keep up the amazing work!”

“DubCo is an amazing brewery & one of our favorites on Long Island. Pairing with a great rotation of food trucks / vendors makes the experience and visit that much more enjoyable. Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer. Always something new to try & their staff are amazing at recommendations & allowing you to try some of their taps. A+ brewery.”

“BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!”

“Great food and great prices. Love their Dumplings. Their General Tso's is my favorite though. When I pick up, they are always friendly and accomodating, and when I order delivery it is super fast, piping hot, and the delivery guy is always really chill. It's my go-to on a sad or rainy day. Nothing works better to brighten my mood.

Edit: Evidently this place is getting review bombed. Still just as good. Review should be around a 4.5”

“Just left Great South Bay Brewery. You gotta check this place out. It's in this warehouse set back from 5th Avenue, kinda unexpected, but that's what makes it so cool. The vibe inside is awesome, really chill, but still feels pro.

And the staff? Seriously top-notch. Everyone there is just so good at what they do, super laid-back but on it. Also above and beyond helpful. I had a flat tire right as I was leaving, and one of the bartenders, I think his name was Mark, saw me struggling. He came right out, no hesitation, and helped me get my spare on.

The crowd there is great too, a real mix of people, which just shows how vibrant Bay Shore is. And the beer, oh man, just a huge variety of nothing but high quality choices. And don't sleep on the food! I was honestly shocked at how good it was, way better than your typical brewery grub.

It's just an incredibly impressive operation all around.”

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

“We found Local Burger last year and have visited many times since. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the Owner, Alyssa truly cares about her customers. Last visit we had Kerri as our server and she really did great. We opted to sit in the back to avoid the Saturday night crowd. We were concerned the service might be slow because we were the only ones in the back but we were wrong. Kerri came back within the first 5 minutes to greet us and take our order, she was friendly and pleasant. Our drinks came back just a few short minutes later followed by our food shortly after. Kerri also came back pretty regularly to check on us. All in all, we had a great experience at Local Burger. If you want a good burger, I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already. Also, this is a small business so better to support them than the big, corporate chains that only care about money.”

I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.”

“Stopped into RockCityDogs last night for a quick bite. The place is set up really cool offers a full sit down bar and a real nice dining area. We were nicely greeted at the door and told our host it’s our first time. She went over the menu and offered the most popular items on the menu. Our waiter came over to our table and we placed our drink orders. Drinks were definitely perfect and worth the price. We placed our orders We went with the Mac n Cheese fried pickles. I had the Springsteen my wife had the Santana and a side of stick fries n onion rings. The hot dogs were perfect each bite offered a good snap and the toppings definitely added a great combination of taste. The Mac n Cheese was almost a meal in itself. The fried pickles and the onion rings were absolutely the best I ever had. The owner Venus came over and asked us how was everything. We told her it was absolutely perfect. The music and the vibe of this place definitely fits into the positive changes going on in the down town Bayshore area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend RockCityDogs. It’s got that nice little bar scene with some really good food. It’s was a pleasure talking with Venus. On the FoodFriends Scale it’s definitely up for our first time. ?”

Let me say , I am extremely picky with eggplant parmigiana. I usually make time consuming dish but I did not have the time. Marcony’s eggplant parm was the best ever. My kids keep raving about it. We also had the chicken franchise that was tender and delicious! We will be ordering here again very soon.”
