Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer. Always something new to try & their staff are amazing at recommendations & allowing you to try some of their taps. A+ brewery.”

The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! “BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!”

Last visit we had Kerri as our server and she really did great. We opted to sit in the back to avoid the Saturday night crowd. We were concerned the service might be slow because we were the only ones in the back but we were wrong. Kerri came back within the first 5 minutes to greet us and take our order, she was friendly and pleasant. Our drinks came back just a few short minutes later followed by our food shortly after. Kerri also came back pretty regularly to check on us. All in all, we had a great experience at Local Burger. If you want a good burger, I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already. Also, this is a small business so better to support them than the big, corporate chains that only care about money.”

“Stopped into RockCityDogs last night for a quick bite. The place is set up really cool offers a full sit down bar and a real nice dining area. We were nicely greeted at the door and told our host it’s our first time. She went over the menu and offered the most popular items on the menu. Our waiter came over to our table and we placed our drink orders. Drinks were definitely perfect and worth the price. We placed our orders We went with the Mac n Cheese fried pickles. I had the Springsteen my wife had the Santana and a side of stick fries n onion rings. The hot dogs were perfect each bite offered a good snap and the toppings definitely added a great combination of taste. The Mac n Cheese was almost a meal in itself. The fried pickles and the onion rings were absolutely the best I ever had. The owner Venus came over and asked us how was everything. We told her it was absolutely perfect. The music and the vibe of this place definitely fits into the positive changes going on in the down town Bayshore area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend RockCityDogs. It’s got that nice little bar scene with some really good food. It’s was a pleasure talking with Venus. On the FoodFriends Scale it’s definitely up for our first time. ?”

“Stopped by Ends Meat Eats on a cold day, and man — this place hit the spot! I ordered the lobster burger and pulled pork tots with Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The lobster burger was buttery, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor — you could tell it was made fresh and with care. The pulled pork tots? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, tender pulled pork inside, and that Dr Pepper BBQ sauce ties everything together with the perfect mix of sweet and smoky.

What really made the experience stand out was the owner — super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. It honestly felt like eating at a friend’s house who just happens to be an incredible chef. Between the cozy vibes and amazing food, this spot turned a freezing day into one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Besides the fact the have the absolute best shrimp and steak burrito with brown rice (for those of you that are healthy)- I walked in with my two toddlers to pick up. The restaurant accidentally switched my order with someone else’s. The restaurant called me when I was almost back home in Sayville (my boys do Karate next door). They immediately notified me of the error before I found out, and insisted making it right. Not only did they insist on driving to the Sayville area to give me what I originally ordered- they let me keep the food I got, plus gave me a second burrito for free, and churros for my boys. This review was written not only for an amazing burrito- but the service. Modern days it’s hard enough for a business to care about taking your order, let alone going above and beyond. Hats off to the manager (especially) and the staff tonight, you deserve it! Disregard any other bad/mediocre reviews from others just having a bad day!”
