My first stop off the train for my day trip in Beacon. I didn't really have much planned out, as sometimes I just like to go by feel. I walked by Beacon Bread Company on my initial walk through main street in the pouring rain, and noticed a crowd of people outside here with cool umbrellas and that's really what got me. Food was delicious. Had the special- smoked brisket, cheeses, jalapeño and enchilada dip. Excellent combo of flavors and to top it off is their garlic pickle - would have bought a jar of that. Others at the table had Beacon burgers which they enjoyed. However the wait was long and our waitress was asked to split the check between 2 couples at the table when we ordered did it wrong?!
