“A cozy small candy/ice cream shop, with rare candy, is how I describe this place. I do enjoy when places branch out to have rare candy not found anywhere but the internet, plus have their own brand of sweet delights. Got a few treats here, to go since it was not crowded when I was here. Honestly the stuff I got was incredible and I will definitely have try here again to try the ice cream and more of chocolate selection.“
“Well this is terrible! I live waaaay too close to great gluten free pie! We bought the GF very blueberry yesterday. It comes frozen (all the GF are in the freezer as whole pies.) We warmed it 300 for 20 minutes and wow! First thing we both appreciated was it’s not too sweet. It tastes like blueberries instead of like sugar. The crust has a big GF on top- no confusion or mis-tastes. They also had a GF pumpkin option in the freezer. Delicious.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free pie was outstanding.“
“I was waiting to try a few more things before posting… TOP NOTCH! You can tell Vinny chooses quality ingredients, and really cares about the food he puts out! Also, super friendly staff. Thanks Big Vinny’s!10/10 would highly recommend.#meatballparmwithRoni“
“Such a cute little coffee shop! Plenty of seating with different chair options, couch, stools, and chairs. They also had seating outside, but we went on a snow day so everything was covered. The workers were extremely friendly and the coffee was also delicious!“

“My first stop off the train for my day trip in Beacon. I didn't really have much planned out, as sometimes I just like to go by feel.I walked by Beacon Bread Company on my initial walk through main street in the pouring rain, and noticed a crowd of people outside here with cool umbrellas and that's really what got me. Plus anything with "Bread Company" attached to the end is such an easy sell for me.I was alone, so I walked in and smiled sheepishly at the hostess while softly saying the words "table for one?" with a light smile and holding up my right hand with one finger up. l was seated at the bar immediately which is another major perk of eating/traveling alone. Vet Move.I was planning on having a big meal later so I just wanted something light, and that's when I saw the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I may be weird but I just love a tomato soup especially when the sky is profusely sobbing.I don't know why I expected a big tomato soup with a small grilled cheese, but it was really a big grilled cheese with a small tomato soup. But that's on me. I gotta own that. Personal accountability. The grilled cheese was solid, but it wasn't the best I've had. It really was more for show as the cheese spills out of the end of the bread, but there's not much cheese in the middle. As my middle school basketball coach would always say “Don't bite on the pump fake! Never leave your feet!”But dipping the grilled cheese in the tomato soup was everything you dream about as a little kid. I used to do this with spaghettios and a grilled cheese my Granny would make me hahahaa. The contrast in the toasted bread with the softness of the tomato soup is a combination everyone should experience once in a lifetime. But yeah, overall a great experience. This place is lowkey Beacon expensive though ahahaha. $13.50 for a grilled cheese and small tomato soup had me feeling like I was back in NYC.IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__“
“Love this place all seasons of the year! Lots of cute animals, and super wholesome vibes! In the summer, the cat will roam around and ask for pets from visitors and is adorable, very friendly and soft :)The lunch menu isn’t big, but all the options are delicious and reasonably priced. I often order the Mediterranean wrap with falafel and it comes with a huge side salad. In the bakery, I love their apple cider donuts and irish soda bread—the bread was warm when we got it and it paired perfectly with the meal we ate. I also am a fan of how there’s a compost bin for food that doesn’t get eaten.“
“I work for Madison Square Garden and deal with Customers all night long. Bobbie Sue is the kind of person I want on my team. Not only is she pleasant and professional, but she acknowledged us while being super busy. I am a picky person and always request substitutions. Bobbi Sue was patient and extremely accommodating. The best service I have had in a while. I live 40 minutes away and I will come back just to see her.“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“
“isn't it just feeling so good to find a place where you know that a sincere and kind heart makes the food and the atmosphere with the heartfelt smiles? i literally tried everything here (yes, i came back three times within a day, and the next morning again before my train departure), and everything was good and beyond period --- how is this even possible? i will only come back to cold spring when angie's bake shop & cafe is open, i mean it,“
“I came here a couple of weeks ago and tried the maple syrup iced latte. I never had that favor before and it was amazing . If I come back in town again I will definitely get it again. The pizza pretzel thing looked amazing but I can't eat pork so I couldnt try it but I definitely was eyeing it ???There biscuit I forgot exactly was in it was amazing more of a dinner type of biscuit but it was so good. And the crosstiant was great.“
“Had an amazing chilean coffee with a panini pressed ham and cheese. Their pastries are delicious! Especially the guava and cheese puffs! I recommend everything on the menu because they have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Best bakery in Town of Poughkeepsie. They never fail!“
“Radically high-quality cheesecake, bakery in the area. Apparently they were in new Paltz before but are a welcome addition to the city of Newburgh. I went in over the weekend and bought four slices for after dinner; banana, biscoff biscuit, red velvet, and cherry. It holds space among the best cheesecake I've had in my life.“
“I’ve gotten cupcakes from Antonio twice now and both times were amazing. I got them for my baby shower and I had guests asking where they’re from because how delicious! I got cupcakes again this weekend for my sons 1st birthday, we called him friday asking for 60 cupcakes for saturday and with no hesitation he said yes and had our absolutely delicious cupcakes ready for my sons party at 11:30am given less than a days notice! When guests were told they were the same from the baby shower everyone swarmed the cupcakes! Antonio is so kind, professional, and punctual. I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else! I will always give him business! Even if you just drop in on a day he’s open, he’s always got some great cupcakes ready to go and i love the macaroons as well!“
“I always get just about the same thing each time I go but last time I tried something different and I didn’t like it. As soon as I told our server he said that he would get me something else. The manager said ok and then I got my French Dip like I usually get. It was awesome!“
“Our daughter, Kirsty, got married last weekend, and I just have to comment on how amazing Jackie and Alan have been to work with. The cake they made was beyond expectation. The detail on the cake was incredible, and the taste was beyond belief. We also ordered petit fours for the farewell station, and they were exquisite. Jackie and Alan were kind, attentive and so accommodating from beginning to end. Thank you so much to both of you, for making Kirsty and Andrew's wedding absolutely perfect!!“
“I really don't know how or why we stopped visiting Perkins, after so many years but after our wonderful breakfast this morning I know for sure where our next breakfast will be at they still have a real breakfast menu, very enjoyable it was as if we never left thank you back to stay.Parking: Very well situated, ample sitting and friendly atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Space well for wheelchairs.“
“Messaged them on Facebook to ask about their pretzels, they got back to me quickly. I showed up this morning to a quaint bakery with tables and an amazing selection of cookies, pastries, and bread products and hot meals. The pretzels are HUGE and worth every penny! I left with 2 pretzels, a bag of dinner rolls, an everything pretzel bagel, and rainbow cookies. Safe to say we've tried it all today and are loving ALL of it! Great place, amazing food!!!“
“wanted some sweets and wanted to try a bakery out of my area. greeted quickly once I was here and I asked for a large box, so I could get a lot. patient with me when I was picking out treats to add, and I was thanked for my order. all treats I had tasted delicious. glad I stopped by and tried this bakery.“
“Stopped in here for a treat and was delighted. Amazing outside the usual baked treats. I had a delightful tea flavored panna cotta. The owner, Lindsey (hope I spelled that right) served up some delightful conversation as well. I live in the city but will definitely order some of these spices. Great shop“
“Hidden gem of a restaurant with old school Italian, Pizza and Portuguese food. Everything is made fresh to order. On site bakery with delicious pastries (make sure you call ahead for something specific). I'll definitely be back to dine in person. The owners are very nice people.“
“Decided to try this bakery 2 years ago and my family has been ordering cakes from them ever since! Their cannoli cake is absolutely amazing, we order it every time! Staff is always a pleasure to speak to and their prices are very reasonable for the quality of cake they provide. I am so glad we discovered this bakery, it is definitely a family favorite!“
“Whenever I have a special occasion or am charged with "bring a dessert" I love going to The Cakery. They have a wide variety of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, cake pops, and cake balls. Their bakers are real artists who will work with you to create the perfect cake (cookie or traditional) that are as pretty to look at as they are to eat. It's tucked away in a shopping plaza so it can be easy to miss. It's worth the trip. My personal favorites: their bars (cheesecake, brookies) and cake balls (cookie dough is fabulous). Highly recommend if you want a sweet treat for yourself or a special event.“
“Very good food and pastries! Other Mexican products are available for sale from shelf and refrigerated food items to statues of Our Lady of Guadalupe to other decorative items. They only make food Friday-Sunday, but so worth the wait! I tried Huaraches, tacos de buche, cuerito, carne enchilada, tamales, I can say everything tasted so delicious and most importantly, authentic! The salsas were perfect! We also bought a variety of pan dulces. Sometimes it's hard to find a good authentic Mexican food place and although we have found a couple in Dutchess, this place is our favorite. We highly suggest it!“
“Would recommend going in the week and not on the weekend. Things tend to be fresher, I believe they are selling older or shipped stock on the weekend. My pastry today is definitely stale and the case was FILLED with fruit flies, a swarm of them flew up and onto the glass when they were getting my pastry.“
“Uber Eats sent me a message about Cornwall Sweets so I said "why not" and placed a small order. The pecan pie is outrageously good with a very well made crust. I never liked a single, gluten free item until I tried their mini-donuts! Also got the cane sugar sodas (Fanta, Sprite, Coke) I like. I will be ordering again from Cornwall Sweets.Vegetarian options: They have no meat!“
“The best cakes not dry at all and I definitely recommend there pastries, the cannolis are fire. The service is immaculate everybody is bilingual so they speak spanish and english. The location is a little questioning but it is actually not bad at all. I definitely recommend.“
“I really wanted to gate keep this place... but considering the fact that everyone at the Beacon Farmers Market knows that they have the best bread in town, I might as well share. Don't let the line drive you away, it moves very fast and the girls who work the stand are super quick and kind. I began coming here for the sourdough but the cookies are to DIE for! The danishes, muffins, pizza, empanadas, and pretzels are also delicious. In my opinion, this is the only bakery in Beacon where you can genuinely tell that everything is homemade. Their little shop is open a few days throughout the week too, if you're not a "Farmers market" type of person. I'd post a pic, but I've already eaten through my stash for the week. Until next Sunday!“
