“This place is amazing! We had 25 people coming from an Army game and called to see if they could take us all in an hour- they said yes and we are so glad they did! Servers Michael and Justin were incredible! We walked in, tables were set, water glasses filled and menus ready. They handled separate bills with ease, drink orders, soups, appetizers, meals and desserts with amazing customer service- and the food was a home run!! True comfort food with a flare! The Schwing burgers & Mac/cheese, deviled egg appetizers and skillet cookie were just a few of our favs! The list of beers on tap was long and something for everyone’s tastebuds for sure! We will all be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. Everyone at the party raved about the food, and Octavio surprised us at the end by serving his home made caramel stuffed churro's with chocolate sauce. If you love great food, you must give him a visit...“

“It was a beautiful Friday evening just at the beginning of the anticipated "happy hour". Walking into Peekskill public you get an immediate nostalgia for Dublin, Ireland, it's a cool feeling.U guys got wings? Yes some of the best, the friendly bartender said and of course they'll all say that. With a good selection of cold NA beers, was happy to have 2 before being handed a plate of wings (buffalo), a perfect mix of drums and flats. Wow, is all I can say, and also look forward to going back.If you're in the area this spot is a must go. Little nightcap with some billiards and friendly crowd to shoot it with. Cheers“

“Had my nieces Bat mitzvah here. The food was outrageous, the service was fantastic. Only negative, they kept clearing the plates away so fast. Some people lost their plates as they were eating. My niece got her plate taken away and never even got to eat. There was so much left over food and I don't know what happened to it all. I hope it went to a good place.“
“My wife and I visited this spring before it opened. They were painting inside, but Sarah, the manager, invited us in and gave us a tour of this beautiful historic building. In the five or six times we've dined there since, Sarah greets us with a hug like old friends and fits us in no matter the hour or crowd. The food is excellent, the menu vegan/gluten and dairy-free friendly, the service top notch. There's even a ghost. Alexa served my birthday dinner for nine yesterday (which Sarah arranged despite over-abundant holiday reservations). Thanks to her and Alexa - who's charming, efficient, and knowledgable on every dish - it went flawlessly. My guests, no strangers to world-class dining, were blown away. The Bird & Bottle is wonderful, but Sarah's special touch with the guests and staff elevates it to something truly extraordinary.“

“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again. My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“

“Delighted that we finally gave this a try with some 'foodie' friends. This was a very pleasant surprise. The service was friendly and excellent. When we asked about two of the Portuguese wines on the wine list. The waitress brought us a sample of each to help us decide. Just that deserves an extra star for service We had two appetizers: the lobster tostones and a special bacalhau. They we both delicious. We tried three of the entrees on the menu. The risotto with lobster had nice chunks of lobster on an al dente risotto with gruyere, the crab cakes with a small salad and the fish and chips. All three of the entrees were done very well. We all agreed we will be again!“

“This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. George and his team make it look easy though you can taste the effort and love the team puts into every meal. I highly recommend eating here. GO!“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“I had no idea the restaurant had changed. Last time I was there, it was the Tressle. I absolutely LOVE the absence and decor of the restaurant and bar. Everything is electric blue and a little eclectic. The menu even has back lighting! Every menu needs this feature. The piano keys across the piano room was my favorite. Evidently, they also.habe live music on occasion. We only got drinks and apps and sat at the bar. We decided on Bang bang shrimp and Tempura Fried Cauliflower. Both were delicious... we had to get a second Cauliflower. The drinks were great and the bar tender took fabulous car of us. I will definitely be back for dinner.“

“The service is on point and the food is excellent. Unless you are riding a motorcycle, parking is almost non existent. That said, I rated it a four for atmosphere because it is a biker bar with a restaurant and that is honestly not my thing. If you are a bike fan, you would likely rate this place a five.Parking: Motorcycles have a reserved parking area, cars are on their own to find street side parking.“

“A small cafe that serves the newly built water front development. There is only few tables inside, but a nice outdoor seating area. We were pleasantly surprised by stumble upon this place by searching Google. The food was fantastic, we ordered a salmon dish which was cooked to perfection and a nice cheese burger with sweet potato fries. The portions were abundant, tasted delicious and reasonably priced. “Stopped in for lunch and immediately enjoyed the atmosphere of this Irish Pub. When I heard their Clam Chowder was homemade it was the first thing I ordered. It was creamy to a degree that wasn’t overbearing. Plenty of clams and just enough of potatoes to complement the clams. I could have eaten more. Maybe one of the best I ever had. The burger was fresh and charbroiled to perfection. Fries were crispy. Good selection of beers. Service was attentive and restaurant and bathroom very clean. Street parking only.“

The prime rib roast and lamb chops were so tasty and tender. The service was super friendly and polite. The old-school restaurant vibe and decor added to the charm. We loved it and definitely recommend it. Excited to go back next time I'm in town!“

“I love Beni's! Their sauce is very similar to my mother's. I love to take my grandchildren to eat there. Their pizzettas are delicious! It's just a great place to go have a nice Italian meal with a glass of wine in a very comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure you'll enjoy what they have to offer.“
“I took my daughters there for a 7 year old birthday party. It was cool for the kids, and the pizza was good. I would have liked some more game options, especially since they have a sports bar section for adults. They also have an axe throwing setup as well. Part of this place is under renovation. I would definitely go back for an adult night out after renovations are complete. Looks like it may be even more fun.“

“A cool local bar. our waiter/bartender was so sweet ? wish I could remember her name. We had mozzarella sticks, dirty tater tots, and teriyaki garlic wings. Portions were big ! Flavor on point. We had Jack and cokes that were perfect ! May not look like anything when you walk in, but don't judge a book by its cover! I almost did, and I'm glad I didn't. The tables had all New york sports teams. Sorry, I missed that because I would have picked the Knicks one, lol. Thank you for a great time and great bar food.“

“Great dive bar that I stopped at spontaneously after walking around Peekskill. Ordered the French Onion soup and a cheeseburger with fries. Food was great (although I prefer swiss cheese on my F.O.S. and not provolone) and the bartender was very nice, too. It was fun chatting with her. The place was empty (for lunch anyway) but I didn't mind as I don't like crowds. It was me and another guy at the bar. He was annoying but she handled him well. I'm guessing this is more of a nighttime hangout, but I definitely liked the vibe here.“

“We really like Loughran’s a lot! It’s nice to go to an Irish pub and get what you’re expecting. We’ve tried many different dishes and they were all delicious. One little hiccup one time - my son got a burger that was over cooked, on the verge of burnt. But that was a one time thing and everyone has an off day or dish. Over all, you get what you’re expecting here and it doesn’t disappoint!“

“I wish I could have given the service ten stars. Shari was perfect and so pleasant! Delicious food, we had the salmon and the halibut after a wonderful roasted cauliflower bisque. We come in from NJ for the Inn park and zoo but now will be coming for the food as well. Also enjoyed the afternoon tea with another wonderful experience with Shari as our server. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended.“
