“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“
“KCBC Brewery stands out as a beacon for beer aficionados, boasting an expansive space that instantly welcomes you with its warm and inviting vibe. The sheer size of the place allows for a diverse crowd, from casual drinkers to serious hop heads, all finding their niche in this vibrant atmosphere. The selection of beers is nothing short of amazing, with each brew showcasing the craftsmanship and passion of its creators. From rich, robust stouts to crisp, refreshing lagers, there's something for every palate. The vibe is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or kickstart a night out with friends. However, there's a catch—KCBC's focus is solely on their brews, meaning snack options are non-existent. While this might be a slight downside for those looking to pair their pint with a quick bite, the quality and variety of the beers on offer more than make up for it. It encourages guests to immerse themselves fully in the tasting experience, perhaps even prompting a visit to local eateries before or after. In essence, KCBC Brewery is a must-visit for its exceptional beers and the nice vibe it offers, even if it means planning your snacks elsewhere.“
“An impressive selection of CBs ranging from refreshing flagship pilsners and lagers at approx. 5% alc. content, to bold IPAs with around 7% ABV, and even indulgent rich barrel-aged stouts boasting 10-13% ABV. The staff is efficient and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. One tip: if you plan on ordering food, it's advisable to do so nearer to the entrance before proceeding to the counter beer seats to avoid missing out on the opportunity to pay with your credit card!“

“An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was nice - minimalist Japanese decor, wood tones, and music that you didn't have to scream over. The food was excellent and not too pricey. I went with a group and we ordered a bottle of sake which came to us in a large ice dispenser for the table which was a surprise and delight (not to mention we got to pick out unique sake cups for ourselves). The wait staff was friendly and informative. Will definitely be returning“

“Been coming here for the past month since I moved back to the neighborhood. First time there tested out the hummus, spectacular. 2nd time the shwarma and malawach with a side of spicy harissa - outstanding. This will be my go-to for Fort Greene Israeli food.“

“We knew it was a gamble to do takeout, but wanted to try it anyway. The burger is decent, but no special sauce and the 8oz patty was in our view too large to be properly complimented by the ingredients, so recommend the 5oz for a more optimal taste compilation. The fries were tasteful but unfortunately soggy even though we had a 5 min transit time only, so can only give 4 stars for the takeout experience. Probably best to eat this on location (and support the staff!), and we will likely give this a second chance on prem“

“Great local bar with a very large selection of beers and delicious food cooked to order. All kinds of great bands on different nights of the week. They have fire pits in the back in a covered area with large screen televisions and exceptionally friendly staff. If you're in town in Rockaway Beach, definitely a place to stop by and have fun with friends.“

“Gottscheer Hall is a fixture of Ridgewood and has been for decades. It does an excellent job at bridging the gap between the old neighborhood and the infusion of the new crowd in a way in which everyone feels welcome. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and their selection of German beer pretty much guarantees something for everyone. The bartenders are also the best in the area, friendly, personable and great to chat with while sipping on a cold one. I've made many memories and friends in that place from all walks of life. I recommend it to everyone. Easy 5 stars. Check it out!“

“Lovely dive spot for a fresh draft and ambient buzz. Beyond burger and fried pickles served hot and timely. Sweet bartender with knowledge and a smile. Tv screens running White Lotus were either over-the-top irony or well-placed takes on us clientele. A neighborhood haunt full of happy years.Vegetarian options: Beyond burger was good“

“Great beer, knowledgeable and kind bartenders, the big backyard is a great place to relax on a hot day. They use air purifiers inside - a big thank you from everyone who still takes COVID seriously, this is one of the only indoor bars I’ll go to in the winter.“

“Good beer selection and comfort food. The room is large and well spaced. In addition to a well curated beer selection, the cocktails are above average. The menu has an European influence. We enjoyed the Spaetzle and Taphouse Burger. The service was adequate.“
“Great local bar. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Got pretzel and tots to go with my beer. Was worried about the tots they looked under fried but it was really crispy and recommend for a small snack. Got a lager which was really good and they have good variety of beers and cider.“

“A neighborhood staple! A day or night at the gate is a guaranteed good time. Always a good crowd, nice staff, and all around good vibes. They don't serve food but they'll allow you to bring your food inside, just clean up after yourself. The outdoor patio is super cute and during the summer, it's always busy and fun.“

“Great beer, great vibe. Can't wait to make it back there again!“
“cool, intimate neighborhood bar. it's tight to find a spot. despite the divey ambiance, the drinks and wine are really good. they have a few takes on a negroni which i loved both. their natural wines were great as well, small selection but still solid. surprisingly, they do have food - in short the food menu is basically chips, grilled cheese and variations of tin fish. there's 1 bartender and a bar back since it's so small.“
“A tight little bar that has a classic vibe. There is always a small, but well-curated beer list. Service is to-the-point as most NY service is, but also quick. It's a now-classic craft beer spot and a great place to kill a couple hours any night of the week.“

“Nook is one of the best spots in Bushwick to post up for hours! If you're working remotely or just looking to people watch this is a prime location. The coffee and food is delicious and the ambiance is just so cozy and comforting no matter what season. Wifi + pretty good outlet access!“
“Cracking little scottish pub. I went down for the Monday night "session," some great fiddlers, and a few songs. Very warm welcome when I shared a song and a drink on the house at the end of the night. Great crowd, and we even made a few new friends. Slàinte Mhath.“
“The story of how I ended up here is that I was looking for something "refreshing" before going home. I searched Google Maps for a place where they sold beer and this place was close to me. I loved it since I came in, full of candles, bottles and a place at the bar with your own menu and a candle. They have craft beers, so I had no idea what to order. The guy in the bar was super nice to me. He asked me what kind of beer I drank regularly in order to find one that was to my liking. He gave me some to try and so I chose which one I wanted. He was always very kind (I would like to know his name to add it to my review), so if you are reading this, THANK YOU. Sometimes it's scary to go out alone, but I'm definitely happy to have gone because I loved this cozy place. That day they had rock music but I believe that is the kind of music they always have. ??“
“Beer was great overall. Had a flight of Hazy IPAs. Didnt care for the Sour beer though. Music was overly oud on Thursday night (clubbish levels) and filled with younger folks not the typical Brewery clientele I'm used to seeing elsewhere.“

“If you're looking for a nice, chill spot to decompress after a long day, this is a great spot. Not to mention great for big sports events. Maliek on Thursdays and Sundays is AMAZING. His energy and service sells itself. During sports events, catch Disco on the grill during the warmer days. Cool local spot.“
“Hosted a party in their private event space. Was a great time, we had 1 server, which I thought was not going to be enough for all 40 of us, but she was extremely helpful and present and I have no complaints. It was very easy for everyone to have their own tab / pay for their own drinks. Dave was very helpful. Food was good. Beer was great. Would do it again. Only costed 75$ for the admin fee after we hit the drink spend minimum“

“They have happy hour and a good selection of beers on tap with some small batch locals too always rotating. They play solid music, funky lowbrow interior, good food selection, outdoor seats in front and back "garden", and a Charles Bukowski shrine (that's where I always sit!). Pretty local crowd where you'll find no hassle or problems. Live music and comedy on certain nights. You should sign the guestbook when you come in, or at least look through it.“
“If you like IPAs, this place is not for you. They're low abv. However, the spot is very cozy and chill. What I did appreciate is that they have some food options, and I can imagine taking some of my friends who prefer lagers or pilsner here. This just wouldn't be my first place to drink.“

“Talea has friendly staff, large spaces for seating indoors and out, and a well-versed menu, plus scheduled programming throughout the week. I went to check them out after seeing them listed on the Seated app, and I was glad to discover this brewery. I really enjoyed my two Park Pilsners and look forward to trying more of Talea's offerings on my next visits. Excited to make this a regular hang spot among friends this summer.“
“I only write a handful of reviews per year. I have very valuable insight and am often sought out for my reviews. This was an exceptional and unexpected moment in my journey when I encountered the phone charging station at Nemo’s beer shop. My phone was low, 5%. Kids with babysitters at home. What was a beer drinking mom to do? The seamless and innovative phone charger at Nemo’s was the best charge I’ve ever had. I came in for a phone charge and left with memories of a lifetime, and for that, I am forever grateful to Nemo’s. What an addition to the neighborhood“

“Such a good spot. Cheap drinks, quaint vibe. It isn't always packed which is nice on weekends and even on a random weekday when you're just catching up with a bud. I need to mention again that the drinks are cheap! Get a good buzz on a budget. Love the ode to Twin Peaks in the back too! Do yourself a favor and have a chat with Charles the bartender. Super friendly dude, real funny, has some fun stories to share and he whips up a mean Moscow Mule. Love this spot!“
