Kings County Brewers Collective Brewery • $$
381 Troutman St, Brooklyn

“KCBC Brewery stands out as a beacon for beer aficionados, boasting an expansive space that instantly welcomes you with its warm and inviting vibe. The sheer size of the place allows for a diverse crowd, from casual drinkers to serious hop heads, all finding their niche in this vibrant atmosphere. The selection of beers is nothing short of amazing, with each brew showcasing the craftsmanship and passion of its creators. From rich, robust stouts to crisp, refreshing lagers, there's something for every palate. The vibe is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or kickstart a night out with friends. However, there's a catch—KCBC's focus is solely on their brews, meaning snack options are non-existent. While this might be a slight downside for those looking to pair their pint with a quick bite, the quality and variety of the beers on offer more than make up for it. It encourages guests to immerse themselves fully in the tasting experience, perhaps even prompting a visit to local eateries before or after. In essence, KCBC Brewery is a must-visit for its exceptional beers and the nice vibe it offers, even if it means planning your snacks elsewhere.“

“Nice neighborhood spot on Atlantic that has a good happy hour We've come here in small groups and big groups, but they really only have 1 long table in the back that's good for 4+ people. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, when we can take advantage of their outdoor garden area. The truffle fries are pretty addicting - super crispy and truffley Cocktails are ok and a bit on the pricier side, but we take advantage of the beer & wine during happy hour The only downside is that they're usually understaffed, with only 1 bartender for the whole place. We're usually waiting on orders/drinks for a while, but hopefully when they get busier, they can add more staff“

The burger is decent, but no special sauce and the 8oz patty was in our view too large to be properly complimented by the ingredients, so recommend the 5oz for a more optimal taste compilation. The fries were tasteful but unfortunately soggy even though we had a 5 min transit time only, so can only give 4 stars for the takeout experience. “What a cute bar that has been around for 17 years and just yesterday I stepped foot into it for my first time. It was the 17th Anniversary party yesterday as well. They had a bunch of collabs with other breweries so their taps were filled with wonderful selection of cool beers. I got here when it opened grabbed a seat at the bar. I didn't catch her name but the bartender was super nice and we chatted a bit. This bar has two tvs in the bar area and some tables in the back. It also has an outdoor area which I did not get to check out unfortunately. The only downside is, is that there is no food served here. But the upside is that you can get free Pop-corn! “The story of how I ended up here is that I was looking for something "refreshing" before going home. I searched Google Maps for a place where they sold beer and this place was close to me. I loved it since I came in, full of candles, bottles and a place at the bar with your own menu and a candle. They have craft beers, so I had no idea what to order. The guy in the bar was super nice to me. He asked me what kind of beer I drank regularly in order to find one that was to my liking. He gave me some to try and so I chose which one I wanted. He was always very kind (I would like to know his name to add it to my review), so if you are reading this, THANK YOU. Sometimes it's scary to go out alone, but I'm definitely happy to have gone because I loved this cozy place. That day they had rock music but I believe that is the kind of music they always have. ??“
