“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese.The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while.The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. “My first time there, of course I didn’t know what to expect. The woman behind the counter let me know she’d be right with me since I had been waiting in line while she was busy preparing other’s food. I appreciated that. It’s obviously a family-run business and that’s very admirable. It was so cute seeing the little toddler daughter behind the counter interacting with her mother. Anyway the food was very tasty and the woman did not skimp on anything, not even the oxtails. The prices are on the high side, but the portion sizes are respectable considering that. She then tells us that its fine, shell give us more time and if we have questions let her know. We finish our drinks and she never came back to check if we needed refills, we had to get another waitress attention. We waited awhile after finishing our meal for the bill, almost as if we had been forgotten about. When she finally came over to process the payment, she handed the card machine with the tip already set to 25% and told us "just hit accept and proceed and your good". “These guys have really good burgers. A nice patty-probably flat-top cooked (so it's not charred). Enough toppings for the price, and the bacon isn't that cheap pre-cooked nonsense. “Peter’s on the Green is a little hidden gem at the Bellport Country Club. My review is based on my wine which tasted a bit sour but this is coming from someone that is hard to please LOL. My sibling and I visited at the end of November 2023 for an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Our meals came with a salad, mine was Greek and it was delicious. My brother got a chicken dino and I ordered an Uncle Peter (chicken, cheese, pasta…) and we shared a yummy dessert. We both took leftovers home and enjoyed them at a later time. I think the menu selection is great, location is gorgeous and the bathrooms could use an update. Overall, it’s a solid option for a nice lunch.“

“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club.
