Their hot oil is the best hot oil I ever had. general Tso chicken is well crispy fried, beef broccoli, lomein, boneless ribs are my favorite. “Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“

It's worth a visit for some nice takeout.Parking: Street parking can be sparse, depending on the time of the day/week. But the (metered) municipal parking lot at the corner of Lockwood Ave. is very close.“

“I had to deduct one star because my favorite Layl Shishi item is no longer on the menu. The VIP Cholent Plate (aka the Heimishe Sombrero) was truly a dish worthy of the VIP mantle. Cholent (bean or barley), potato kugel, kiskha, jachnun, eggs, Gedempte Fleish and two slices of garlic toast. Truly a way to end the workweek and rocket towards Shabbos.The poppers are still a strong contender tho - so I'll typically get those for my forschpeiz and get a sombrero elsewhere. Solid eating.“

“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

“I stopped here to get something quick for dinner. I walked in and was greeted by the woman behind the counter. I took a few minutes to decide on what to order. I placed my order and paid for it. She said it would be about ten minutes but I don't even think it took that long. Shortly after sitting down she told me my order was ready and I was on my way. “I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“

We ordered wonton soup, crab rangoon, and cashew chicken combo. The wonton soup was D-LICIOUS!! Their wontons have nice, thick wrappers and are filled nicely. I believe they hand make the wrappers, which is a great added bonus to the quality. I'm not a big crab rangoon lover, but my husband is. He raved about them. The dipping sauce was definitely on par. “Always drove by it and saw advertising in our local Clipper but never jumped in until a few days ago. Three Asians cuisine, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Had dinner with my family, my daughter ordered shrimp fried rice, my wife had Mei fun noodles while I ordered the yellow curry tofu. We all also shared sushi rolls, sashimi and hand rolled sushi. My curry dish was amazing just as good as if I had it at a Thai only restaurant. My daughter said the best fried rice she’s had and the same with my wife’s noodle dish. Plenty of different dishes to choose from specially if your family can agree on a cuisine. The service was great and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and mellow.Vegetarian options: Tofu or just veggies can be substituted.“

“This place was really good. Tried them for the first time on a recommendation, so we ordered a bunch of our go to items and shared. Regular and Szechuan dumplings were both very good. So was the dumping sauce and home made hot mustard. BBQ spare ribs were delicious and super size. House fried rice was like home made, so was everything we ordered actually, even the egg roll. Pleasantly surprised. And a plus for us was they deliver to Piermont and you can order online. Will be using them again.“

That should be a management decision and does not have to shared with diners. It's not for the money...it's a distraction to the experience of dining out. The alcoholic drinks are about $12 (way too high) and there are no ice tea refills, so I ended up paying $15 for 3 glasses of ice tea. The service is too fast, clearing dishes the moment you are done and removing dishes of other diners while one diner is still eating. That creates a sense of stress. Finally, there is no signage on the property as to where the restaurant is, so many, wonder about looking for it.“

“Foo Chow, more like Foo WOW! Considering I said “wow” after every bite I took. My friends and I decided to order for our Friendsgiving and it couldn’t have been a better decision! “I have been purchasing food for take away, and dining in, at East Harbor for over 15 years. I tried my best to support during the pandemic and eat here at a minimum of once a week, if not more. The service is great and you get a good amount of food for the cost. I have never had a bad experience, and if anything they might go above and beyond, unexpectedly. It's got lots of options and while it is not 5 star, it is definitely one of my favourites, and has the cleanest bathrooms in Westchester. As a side note, they have two televisions and are willing to put on whatever game I want to watch, if needed.“
