“A favorite place in the Hamptons!The blueberry muffins are divine and the cheese cake absolutely out of this world. The lemon tart also very tempting.The food is fresh and very tasty, as if it was made at home. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambience with an outdoor space, a nearby pond, chickens and beehives. The shop behind it sells all kinds of freshly made goodies in the kitchen. You will have a hard time deciding what to choose, as everything looks and smells so good.This is my third time visiting the restaurant. Can't wait to return again. Meanwhile munching on what we bought at the store, a nice way to prolong the pleasure.Five stars!“

“Overall had a nice atmosphere. Nothing extremely fancy but still cozy. The service was amazing and our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the dishes and drink options. The food was alright, the meats we ordered were slightly overdone and the creamed spinach was slightly sweet. Our oysters were fresh and the soup of the day was our favorite dish along with the chocolate ganache for dessert.“

“Very nice restaurant, a part of an inn. very specious inside but there is also sitting outside which is nice as it is between 2 buildings and you have plenty of shade. We had the Claude's Tacos (recommended), Fish and Chips ( a it blend, but I loved it), Lobster Roll (on a ban, but still excellent).“

“Freshest yummy seafood possible simply prepared in a very casual setting. Outdoor or indoor or take home it's great every way. Terrific for families in the summer as I don't need to worry about kids accidentally dropping food on the floor as much. I recommend Bostwick's Chowder House 100%!“

“This place is yummy. I've had the fried chicken lunch combo with mashed sweet potatoes. So good! I just wish they gave a little more sweet potato. “We live in this town and we have been here many times. They have a great happy hour with half-price drinks most days of the week and on Fridays half price apps. We went for a full dinner several times this summer and we' have not been disappointed. Special recommendations for bartender Eddie, and waitress Katie. Recommend the dishes - apps: Baja fish tacos, fish chouda, Thai chili mussels, Entree: crusted cod. The chicken Milanese looks wonderful, but didn't actually have it. The shrimp and grits with sausage was only OK. I can make it better at home. Sit outside on the deck when the weather is wonderful, but sit inside when it is marginal.“

“Commander Cody's came though on short notice.I forgot to orderShrimp for our bowling dinner in advance, but I was able to get 5 Lbs of shrimp cocktail with in a few hours quickly. They made up the shrimp and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them.Thank you!“

“We first visited Sophie's about 10 years ago-we were not impressed. Mostly fried food served in styrofoam plates and uncomfortable high-top tables. This past fall, we visited Sophie's again (first time in 10 years). WOW-what an improvement! Delicious marinated steak, fantastic clams-on real plates! Beautifully decorated, comfortable dining table and chairs, friendly staff-great food and drinks. We have returned several times since-always satisfied with our dining experience!! My one complaint-don't serve appys with plastic plates.“

“Been a fan for years!! BUT!!!! Tonight doing take out was a nightmare!!!! Got there early so food would be hot ! Live 5 minutes away! Cold when I got home had to Micro!! That's not even the issue! Problem is!! $$$$ That's a given ! You go there knowing they're insanely $$$$$ ! ! But when you pay $6.00 for a side of bread and get " 1" slice of bread the line has to be drawn somewhere!!?!!??! That is close to a 200% mark up on a loaf of bread!!! INSANE!!! Very upsetting and disappointed in one of if not my favorite restaurants here!!!“

“Food ordered was overcooked. Both the lobster and steak. We have been to many outstanding restaurants and never had our food overcooked when we ask for medium-rare. Considering this is suppose to be a high end restaurant and we expect prices to be considerably high, you would think you would get what you asked for. The Palm restaurant has changed since its earlier days when the food was outstanding.“

“East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!“

“Apparently this place just got a new chef, so ignore previous bad reviews. Went for brunch with a local friend and it was delicious. She had the banana stuffed pancakes and I had avocado toast. Service was friendly and upstairs dining room was cozy with views of water. Recommended!“

“Fresh seafood for takeout! They have a large variety of precooked and cook-to-order items. We tried a variety of fried seafood (clams, flounder, shrimp, scallops) as well as their lobster salad. The fried seafood was slightly overcooked. The cold lobster salad was better but pretty pricey ($38) considering that it doesn't come with anything. The fried seafood came with fresh chips and were more reasonably priced They also have a fridge full of different soups, chowders and sauces. Their pre-prepared food items also looked good. This store has lots to offer and also does catering.“

And now they feature... TURKISH CUISINE! And it's delish. You know longer have to drop $200 on tacos and a margarita at you-know-where when for a fraction of that you can get the Mixed Grill and feed four people and then some. Lamb and chicken Adana, Gyro, etc. It's all so tasty. Why not do an American style mash up and get some garlic knots as an app while you're at it? Assim is a great guy who's eager to show you something new. I'll be back to try the lunch options. Did someone say, "Falafel"?“
