“This was my second time at NY Axe Williamsburg and they really upgraded their game since they were bought out in Fall 2023. They now have interactive screens over the wall where you throw the axes so that axe throwing doesn't get stale, including a Zombie Killer game and a version of the card game 21 (where you need to hit certain cards, in this case with an axe, to get exactly 21 points). It was a great way to spend time with my family and the instructors were very friendly and tried to give instructions to help improve our skills. I would definitely go back!“

“Otis is a go-to staple in the neighborhood that I bring all of my guests to! I haven’t yet had a dish I didn’t love. Most recently, I visited with someone who wasn’t so sure about mussels. Otis has one of the best mussel dishes I’ve ever had; the mussel-questioner left with a new outlook on how good they can be. Burrata is also a go-to favorite. The bread is made in-house and so delicious…. And the cocktails are fabulous too! The staff and service is the cherry on top. Big love to Otis!“
“This is a new bar/ restaurant in Bellmore. We were here on Wednesday night for dinner. Our server CiCi was great and very personable. We ordered the fried calamari with a side of Chipotle sauce as an appetizer. 3 out of 4 of us ordered the Heritage Burger and my husband ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. Everything was delicious. We are back again on Saturday for the Espresso martinis made perfectly by Maggie & Martino the bartenders & another order of that amazing calamari. Started with a Negroni which was spot on, had hummus platter which was the best in NYC so far, falafel which was bigger in size than the known falafel but yet very tasty. My friend raved about the cauliflower, but the star was the smoked lamb shawarma. All in all, good experience with attentive and responsive service with excellent food. “WINNER IS A WINNER. Wow guys, this place deserves more love! Only 18 reviews (?!) (at the time I'm writing this) shocking. Are the sandwiches teetering on $20? Yes. Are they worth it? 100%! Firstly, the sandwich is HUGE. I definitely could only eat half so if you want to come and split a sammy with someone that's a smart way to approach this menu. I ordered the midnight club (a somewhat different take on a cubano sandwich) fried pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mojo dojonnase and pickled jalapeños on a hoagie. I also opted to try one of their sauces, the ramp ranch as well as a hibiscus Arnold Palmer. So, let's break this sandwich down: - the hoagie itself is a beautiful, fresh piece of bread. Perfectly toasted and crispy exterior but fluffy, buttery and bouncey middle. They also throw a glaze on the top that's adds such a nice touch to the bread. - fried pork: think of a dark and deep fried mozzarella stick but without the cheese. This pork is tender and full of flavor. I absolutely love the breaded coating on this fry. It's crispy and crumbly and so so good. - love the ham & Swiss classic combo. The portions of everything it perfect for almost every bite - the dijonnase sauce on the bottom soaks into the bread just enough and really pairs well with all the other toppings - the pickled jalapeños are also a perfect addition of acidity and pop of spice The sauce is expensive at $5 but I'm so glad I got it. It was a special ranch and I'm happy that they basically provide a bowl of it for the price I also really liked my hibiscus Arnold Palmer. Extremely refreshing and a nice light lunch drink option. Just sweet enough. The space itself is gorgeous. I was not sure what to expect based on the minimal pics online but they have some bar/ counter seating at the front and a decent sized dining section in the back completel with sky lights and a shuffleboard (I think that's what it's called?) for night use I believe. I think they shift from cafe into a bar at night. As another review mentioned, you order at the front counter and the provide you with a table number and you can sit down and eat. The bartender was very helpful with me choosing my sandwich and was super friendly. One of the staff also saw that I wasn't able to finish the second half of my sandwich and came and brought me a box and I didn't even have to ask. This truly is a neighborhood gem and I will absolutely be back to try more items on their menu. 4.8/5“

“This was the first time I had been to Rippers in eight years and it is still as good as it was in 2015. The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“

“i ordered their prosciutto and burrata (which comes with imported burrata and 24 Month prosciutto di parma), tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and black pepper), and infernetto pinsa (roman style pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy soppressata, and pecorino). all in all, every dish was made with fine ingredients and was cooked well. the burrata was very creamy and delicious, i would recommend it if you’re a fan of burrata cheese. the pizza had a good coal fire taste to it and came out hot and flavorful (the spicy soppressata was tasty, but i would like to try some of their other flavors eventually). the cacio e pepe was tasty and had a strong pecorino flavor (creamy, rich, slight cheesy musk to it). the pasta had good texture and mouthfeel (firm al dente noodles). all in all a decent spot for italian!“

“Wow! Truly wow’d by this place. New chef Sunny is doing something really great here. The food program is wonderful, we had the Hwe, Spicy Tuna Hand Rolls, and Mochi Cake. The hand rolls are great, tuna delicious! $9 each, so not cheap but definitely a tasty bite. The Hwe was extremely delicious, think of it as Korean poke. The lemon gochujang was very nice, and not overpoweringly spicy. It had a really nice crunch factor as well, everything was definitely well thought out in the dish. “We were in Queens and asked a friend who lived in area for dinner recommendations. We are super happy he did. This place is great. All 4 of us loved our dishes and service. The place was packed but they keep it moving and everyone looks quite happy with their food. Some of the best pasta we’ve had in a long time. The mushroom pasta I had was on long thick cuts of homemade pasta cooked perfectly and the mushoom mixture was excellent and I really appreciated it cooked in white wine sauce instead of heavy cream you usually get. My wife ordered something not on the menu for her and my daughter. Home made spaghetti with vodka sauce and grilled shrimp and waiter offered meatballs and spaghetti for my daughter. They loved it. My son had the lasagna and finished every morsel. I don’t leave too many reviews but this place deserves it 100%. Thank you.“
“It was date night!!! Double date night that is. My close boy and I planned a secret double date with our significant other. They did not know it was a double until we met up at the door of Salvaje social club. let me just say the ambiance did not disappoint at all, the wild jungle theme had me loving every minute of my walk in and stay. Throughout the night the smoke machine would random blow smoke give the place a misty look. The music was pumping all night long and kept us in an upbeat vibe. The selection of music was mainly Spanish music, they did sprinkle in some English music but for most the night it was reggaeton etc. Although I didn't understand what was being said I surely loved the beat of every song that played. The staff at salvaje was very quick, informative of the menu, polite and friendly. We started off with the seeds of passion which was very tasty and strong. We did two rounds of that drink, couldn't get enough of it lol. I then had a Hennessy and pineapple juice , I don't know what pineapple juice was used but it was so good along with the Hennessy. For starters we had the shrimp toastadas and let me tell you it was amazing , I highly recommend it. Two of us ordered the Milton's rice and the other two ordered chicken on the cut. The rice was well fried and seasoned along with the shrimp, it was just a bit salty but i still loved it, the food really did not let me down at all. We stuck around after eating to drink more and dance a bit during our stay. I'll give Salvaje a 10/10 for vibes 10/10 for drinks 9/10 for Food 10/10 for service 10/10 for ambiance“

We ate every single one.The chicken was incredible and plated beautifully. I have a feeling that you can’t go wrong here where it comes to food selection.The inside of the restaurant has a bit of a different vibe than the outside seating area. I recommend sitting outside.The only con is that the bathrooms are right by the kitchen, so it can be an awkward experience waiting for one, but it’s not a big deal at all and typical for NYC.Check this place out!!“

While I appreciated the inventive cocktail menu, my one knock is that I found the drinks to be on the overly sweet side for my taste. The sweetness was more welcome in my solstice highball (tart apple and sugar makes sense) than my wife's Mishima's Mask (salty, msg, pickle but sweet was a hair to close to bread and butter pickles). Despite this, I acknowledge that others may enjoy the creative and flavorful combinations. All told, Little Rascal has a lot going for it, with its warm ambiance and friendly service. However, if you're sensitive to sweetness in cocktails, it might be worth asking to tone down the simple syrup a bit to suit your taste buds.“

“I went here with a group of friends. It is a small intimate bar. They occasionally have a kitchen that serves homemade dishes. Lots of inexpensive bottles of icy cold beers, as well as mixed drinks. There is a pool table and a dart board, music from cd's. I had fun but I knew a lot of people in the bar. Very friendly staff. They also have "guest bartender night". A frequent patron acts like the bartender for the evening.“
