Excellent! It's like stepping back in time once you walk through the door. All the sights and wonderful smells of a real old fashioned Italian Deli. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is always excellent. There is a relatively rustic area with sturdy wooden tables and chairs where you can eat your sandwich there on the premises if you don't feel like taking your food on the road. Had two sandwiches there back to back days, they were both phenomenal. At a $15 price point, it is expensive however they are large, dense, and high quality sandwiches. Shown in picture I had mortadella, prosciutto, fried eggplant, and mozzarella. All the ingredients felt fresh and easily beat out delis in other areas of NY. The place is nice as well and smells good.

Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.
