I recently visited a Coffee Spot Cafe in Sheepshead Bay and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of bakery items. Opting for the ones that looked the healthiest, I made a good choice because each one turned out to be absolutely delicious!
It’s one of few places in New York, where you feel very “ home-like “ atmosphere. It starts with collection of vintage and antique coffee grinders spread thru place, including vintage camera, paintings and over all design. Coffee and food is very good. Place is very popular with locals. Since it’s located in Sheepshead Bay Area of brooklyn, patrons are very diverse. I usually drop off for cappuccino or coffee lathe with pastry. Our first and most likely last visit to this cafe. Solyanka is not a solyanka. This cannot be done by a cook, only a bad apprentice cook, and besides, it was not hot. We ordered the most expensive salad for 8.50, it’s just food with no taste or pleasure. Stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken are also not cabbage rolls, but a parody.
