This is hands down one of the best dining experiences in NYC. Homemade, authentic ,yet creative Italian food. Reasonably priced to boot. A lot of Italian spots in NYC are either true old school spots that have lost their spark or the same “new American” take on Italian. Dough Vale is the best of both worlds. Get the Valentina pizza. The owner is a total character which enhances the experience. I felt like I was back home at my Grandparents house in Italy…

I've never written a review before, but I had to come on here to give praise to Giuseppe and his food. I simultaneously want this restaurant to become as popular as the food and service deserve, while also (selfishly) remaining a hidden secret for just myself. Some of the best pizza and pasta I've had in the city. Everything has a homemade quality to it that's rounded out by the hospitality of the owner/chef, Giuseppe.
