When I entered, the cafe was empty. The bakery items are sold in the front while the dim sum items are sold in the back.Most of the dim sum items were sold out for the day. I ordered the har gow, tofu skin roll, beef rice noodle roll, and shumai. The har gow was bouncy, the tofu skin roll was still warm when I ate it, the beef rice noodle roll was soft and the shumai have shrimp and mushrooms.I saw that there is a TV screen showing music videos in the back. Tasty bakery items such as the Swiss bun! Their coffee also hits the spot in the morning. I haven't tried anything else besides the bakery items, but nice place. Fantastic prices, especially in the time we live in now.

Tried Golden Sands Cafe for lunch today. I'd say it's a pretty good place for Dim Sum - affordable prices & the food tastes similar to Manhattan's Dim Sum restaurants (although admittedly that's where you'll find the best selection). Three and a half stars, really. One unique feature worth mentioning - the restaurant has a bakery that offers a large selection of items, including freshly baked Chinese buns.
