What can I complain about this restaurant? My personally favorite thing to eat here looks like none of them. My husband loves here because they have steak and eggs for breakfast. I'm in other hand. I already tried grilled fish, ceviche shrimp or other dishes. None is my cup of tea, honestly. Today I order Nopal Asado; it is grilled cactus top with Oaxacan cheese and rajas con crema. I’m a Californian so I love Mexican food almost as much as life itself. In all my days including 16 years of living in NYC, I’ve never had a better taco than Mesa Coyoacan. I talk about it all the time. I bring friends and family here when they come to visit. This place deserves 5 stars. HOWEVER—they recently took their hands-down best taco the cochinita pibil OFF THE MENU. Until it comes back, looks like I’ll need to find another spot.

Been to this place over 20 times in the last couple years, always coming back for the most delicious margs and tacos. But please please please get Cochinita pibil tacos back on the menu!
