Best sushi in Bushwick area that I could think of. I was quite shocked considering where it is. But having tried some other sushi spots in the area, I’d stick with this place if I ever wanted sushi in this area again.
I'm always in search of a nearby takeout sushi spot and had Yugen bookmarked for some time. I'm not a huge fan of specialty rolls (a bit too many flavors/fusion for my taste) so usually stick to the classics. Ordered the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and shrimp tempura rolls for delivery. This is definitely a hidden gem. It's very affordable, I think each roll was around $7/$8? The fish was fresh and rice was also pretty good in comparison to a lot of the other sushi spots I've checked...read full review

I stopped by tonight and had a great experience. The restaurant is very clean, and they have some cute Valentine's Day decorations up. The wait for the food was not long, and it tasted delicious. The staff members were kind and courteous.
