“We we're on our last day of Christmas vacation and were looking for a place to eat close to our Airbnb and we decided to take a chance and place a large order of different items on their menu, WOW, everything was delicious. We ordered their fish & chips, amazing. The fish was a generous portion of delicious white and flaky fish and the fries were seasoned to perfection. Our son had a full order of wings with a lemon pepper rub and garlic parm, yummy!!! My husband had and incredibly delicious burger with fries, it was juicy and pretty big, etc. Everyone's order was on point. If your looking for really delicious good food, this is the place to get it. We thought prices were a little high, but when we saw how much food it was and how delicious it tasted, price was worth it. Will recommend this place any time ?“

To top it off we had the tiramisu and it was easily the best tiramisu of any restaurant we've visited. Kudos to the owner and staff for a great evening!“

“Well guys, I already knew they make the BEST PIZZA IN BALLSTON SPA, NY And Now? I just had my first sausage, peppers, onions and cheese from there and it was magnificent! “Spent lots of time in this bar with a dart league on Thursday nights over the last 5 years. The food is great when it's great and not so great when it's not. You can tell when the kitchen is overloaded or if the usual cook isn't there. The hand cut fries are the best. Some bartenders are better than others.“

“The food here is always stellar. The last time I went, our server was in the middle of an argument with the hostess and let it affect the way she acted toward us. I tried to break the ice and asked her if she needed a beer too because she seemed stressed. She then explained to us how frustrated she was with the hostess. “Review from a foodie everything here is delicious I am really not a fan of toasted subs but now I totally understand why the bread is toasted lightly. The submarine bread is fresh . My wife couldn't say enough how much she enjoyed it. The Italian had old school Italian sesame seed sub roll. The bread was extremely fresh, not dense and doeiy where you're eating a lot of bread. The meats in my sub were delishious. I'm 6ft 2in., 256 lbs. and have a big appetite and that sub was more than enough. My wife could only finish half of her wrap. A awesome value as the prices are very reasonable. My order was a take out however the young lady at the counter was very personable and friendly. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.“

“Forts Ferry Farm (FFF) is hard to define. It changes from season to season and as a farm, that seems befitting. For Fun Foods, now shuttered, used to offer prepared and frozen foods on site. There was also a selection of produce from the farm and pantry items like extra virgin olive oil sold in their store. Issues with the town of Colonie put an end to that venture. Not to worry, FFF, has a presence at both the Delmar and Troy Farmers' Markets for retail. They also have farmers' market pop ups at the farm on occasion. They seem to have a burgeoning wholesale market with several restaurants in the area. The wholesale market is open to everyone using the fortsferryfarmwholesale.… website. I believe they have plans to open a retail store in Hudson. I once emailed a question through their website about mycology (watching too much The Last of Us) and one of the owners, Emma Hearst, replied almost immediately to my question. Both she and her husband, John Barker, are chefs. I believe their restaurant's name in NYC was Sorella. They moved back upstate to grow food and share it with their community, both fellow chefs and consumers. The produce grown on the farm is top notch. I remember eating different heirloom tomatoes from the farm. It was simply cut, drizzled with a little olive oil, and sprinkled with a pinch of salt. The taste of those tomatoes defines summer. Another discover for me was honeynut squash. It has a thinner skin which is edible and the flesh seems much sweeter than butternut squash. The salad mixes are generous and bagged for convenience. The ginger they're growing seems to be a different varietal. They offer the tried and true classics but also venture out to offer different options to their patrons. The brand of Forts Ferry Farm is managed very well. They have both designers and farmers on staff. Check out the photos created by the staff on this site, they're gorgeous. I believe their cookbook will also be out for sale soon. Whatever Forts Ferry Farm grows into, I'm sure it will be innovative yet also founded on cultivating "goodness".By the way, if you ever have the opportunity to get one of their salted chocolate chip cookies, do not hesitate. Honestly, it's probably the best I've ever had.“

“Kid-friendliness: My 7yo daughter is picky about her pizza and can never finish a slice. She loved one here and ate it all. Customers were friendly and helped get utensils for her. Staff had everything prepared except cheese slice that just came out of the oven when we arrived. They are on top of their game. Good place.“

“Before I start getting chewed out by anyone, Atmosphere is a 1 out of 5. Care to guess why? There is no atmosphere. You order, you get it, you leave. Oh, and it's cash only. No credit cards, no bitcoin, nothing crazy. The whole establishment exists for 1 sole purpose: to provide pizza and pizza type staples one would come to expect from a pizza establishment. For every corner cut to make this place a pickup only establishment, it's for a purpose. That purpose is to provide some of the BEST pizza and some of the BEST hot wings in the area. Their wings, honestly have incredible kick and some outstanding spice to them. The pizza is incredibly balanced with their flavors. Not too sweet on the sauce, not too much garlic, dough is just right. A decent laughing point, though, is their wings. I've never heard of wings and spuds. Ever. It's good, actually. Incredibly good. Great combination. I'd have never thought to put the two together, but that's my own limited imagination. 10/10 love this place.“
