“This is a must try for all those with a bit of a sweet tooth. Their cupcakes are soooo good. The owner is such a nice person, and you can taste the love put into the food. Thank you for your generosity and kind spirit.Friendly neighborhood amazon delivery driver ?“
“Been here twice already and I'll be coming back! I love supporting small family owned shops but it's easy here because the desserts/pastries here are delicious. The desserts are Filipino-inspired which is not commonly seen in this area. I've tried their basque cheesecake, ube donut, and their Bicho bicho, along with the ube foam iced coffee. I'm not even a big fan of ube but that recommended ube donut was a pleasant surprise. I'll be back to try their croissants :-)“
“It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.“
“Friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, and delectable desserts! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Bought a tiramisu slice, chocolate banana pudding & chai- absolutely delicious! Not even vegan but would definitely come back here again ?“
“I came to Shaheen sweets of Queens on Friday to pick up some mithai for my friend's nikkah in the early morning.Just wanted to tell you how amazing your sweets are. Which is really an understatement...I personally do not like sweets but I couldn't stop eating the variety that you all had packed for me.Jazakallah!!May Allah swt continue to give u Barakah in all that you do.In Shaa Allah I will be back soon for some more mithai. The best mithai hands down!!!“
“Way more than just an espresso bar. They have a kitchen and bakery and all of the food and deserts are amazing. The best coffee I've ever had as well. The prices are some of the cheapest you can find these days. It's a phenomenal place in every “
“We booked our son’s baptism with Frank’s steaks in RVC and they are affiliated with whistle stop for the occasion cake. I was so blown away by this cake I had to come and make a review. It’s so hard to find a good sheet cake for special occasions. The flavor and texture of the cake was so delicious. We chose a chocolate mouse filling and it exceeded our expectations. The cake was so so delicious and beautifully decorated, which is also hard to come by with these types of cakes. I would definitely use them for future occasion cakes. It was perfect and my guests were asking where the cake was from so they could use in the future. Thank you so much whistle stop. :)“
“Wanted a nice cup of velvety not too sweet strong coffee! Found this gem and the Lady up front so sweet! Recommended a macchiato. Got the vanilla flavor and she made it perfect! So happy found another coffee spot that is worth the beans for your bucks! And service too!“
“I’m one of their repeated customer not only for the authenticity of their Italian pastries cakes and and gelato… but also for their will yo make me happy every time I ask if they can do something outside of their menu…i love visit and have my cappuccino at the place where I get to unwind. The owner know me as soon as I walk in and they already know what my usual is ☺️. I dine in but I also take a lot to go …. Everything is good I will just mark some of my repeatsDietary restrictions: If in doubt ask the server“
“Love this place!!!!!!! I had Jimmy and his crew cater a major party we had with over 75 people and their stuff was a hit. Their spinach and cheese pies were amazing and the various desserts they catered were beyond delicious. Jimmy was awesome to deal with, I told him how many people we were having, he helped me with my order to make sure we had enough for everyone and not one thing was left over. Love dealing with people who do the right thing.“
“I just stumbled upon this cute little shop & I’m obsessed! Great customer service and treats! I can’t wait to be back and try the espresso. The owner is so lovely - gave me a free espresso cupcake so I can give it a try! It was yummy “
“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items. My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich. The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. Hopefully they can improve drinks!Parking: 4 in front of the store“
“What a great addition to the five towns and surrounding areas. The bakery is nut free and has such a large selection of classic bakery and more interesting baked goods. The owners work tirelessly to ensure your needs are met and the products are fresh and delicious. I've been shopping by them for years and have always found the products to be wonderful and easy to work with when ordering or arranging pickups when I'm out of town. Keep up the great work and if you haven't made a trip yet I would highly recommend them from a coffee and Danish to a birthday cake.“
“One-of-a-kind neighborhood bakery in the Whitestone area of Queens, NYC, NY.Simple, free, on-street parking, friendly staff and incredible fresh made selections. Also offering a number of chilled, pre-prepared goodies to take along.Enjoy a cup of coffee too while you wait.Crazy good!#buylocal#supportlocal“
“Hidden gem of Great Neck. Excellent quality and big variety. Really everything we tried was amazing. But you have to try his banana bread. The only thing you need to know: they work mostly on pre-orders and sold out early on many items. So best to come before noon or to order.“
“This place looks very artsy on the outside, once you step inside you feel like you’re at home with the decor. There are two self serve kiosks which are really well designed and easy to use. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! Definitely come here for authentic Korean street food.“
“I never had Mochi donuts and wanted to try and found this gem! Glad I came here to try their sweets. Mochi donuts were amazing as well as the fat macarons. They were tasty with the perfect amount of sweet! Whenever I'm in the area, I will be sure to stop by again.“
“The front is handled by mostly teenagers. That saying that his bad, because his business is very fast, paced with a line out and around the block. Especially during the holidays. The fact of the youth helps get the customers in and out in a quick and efficient way. This is a takeout place for desserts only so really can't say much about the ambience. Food whether it's a cheesecake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, or anything else to your wanting is amazing, delicious and very well rounded for a sweet shop bakery.“
“Everything on the menu is on point. I really like how you can choose the number of wings. The food is prepared pretty quickly. The person at the counter (whom I believe is the owner) seems cold at first, but he turns out to be very caring towards the customers!“
“Good gelato, they don't get frustrated when you can't decide on one of their many delicious flavors and allow you many samples. Simple and effective service. I think the interior is a bit bland but it's not bad just very minimal however it is very clean! Definitely Would recommend.Dietary restrictions: Some vegan and No Added Sugar options availableWheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance“
“*Sweet Potato CroffleA delicate croffle topped with goguma mousse and whipped cream, sprinkled with ube powder. The goguma paste was subtly sweet with a melt-in-your-mouth smooth texture. My preferred flavor because I LOVE sweet potatoes.*Blueberry CroffleGenerously spread with housemade blueberry cream cheese and fresh blueberries on top, the croffle doubled up the blueberry flavors.“
“First time here with my family! Lovely place with all the sweets! Owner very friendly! We got two cupcakes, a chocolate brownie and a coconut ube cookie! Cookie not too sweet, cupcakes are delicious and the chocolate brownie definitely my favorite ^u^ Will definitely go back and try the rest of the sweets that they have!“
“Food was amazing and the service was even better. The kind woman who served me gave me some samples of the other meats which were so delicious. The baked chicken and pork chop were falling off the bone so tender and flavorful. Tried their homemade passion fruit juice and it tastes amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu!“
“Baking skills are top notch. This is a rare find especially in Queens. I had to order 32 cupcakes for my sister baby shower, half of the cupcakes were of an intricate design and the other was a simple cupcake design with sprinkles. And my socks were knocked off with how well the cupcakes turned out they look exactly like the reference photos. They were a hit at the baby shower, everyone was impressed by the taste and the look. Only place in Queens where you can get high quality baked goods for such an amazing price. I have to say the deserts from Plum Blossom is so much better than Martha's and Magnolia Bakery.“
“Nice place, but waaaaaaaay over priced. $6 for carrots ? they're definitely taking advantage of the affluent neighborhood. Bought a small apple pie ($23) and it tasted good but it's like a jiffy pop popcorn, obnoxiously high crust so you can't cut a slice cleanly, definitely can NOT serve this to guests, impossible to plate (see pics) also a small 6" zucchini bread ($8.95) it was good.“
“As far as my husband and I are concerned one of the best, if not the best bakery. Been stopping by for years and never had a complaint. We had apple pie, chocolate babkah, various Danish, cookies. I love the chocolate cigars. Staff is always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy they are. If it is a holiday, go early or reserve ahead of time.“
“I have never been here before, but would always drive past it. The new ownership is very friendly and the cafe is so cozy and vibey. This is a great place to catch up with a friend and have a sweet time. Also, the bathroom is clean (big plus for me). I will absolutely be coming back.“
“This cake was beyond beautiful! It exceeded my expectations ?? The service for ordering was so easy and simple. Oh and by the way it was deliciously made as well. My daughter had specifically requested this cake for her 16th bday and she was extremely happy when she saw it. Thank you Blue Royale Cakes for making my daughter’s cake one of the best yet!“
“This is going to by my weekly bubble tea spot. They were so friendly which is always a driving factor for a quality establishment for me. Price point was great. We only got teas today, but I can't wait to try some of their pastries. They looked beautiful and based on other people's reviews they're probably delicious. We got the brown sugar bubble milk tea and Passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba and just look at that adorable little heart shaped tea stopper. I will be a frequent flyer here“
“Today I purchased some cupcakes and they were phenomenal!! Highly recommend coming here for desserts. I have been wanting to try their stuff for a minute now and today I had a sweet tooth, and it was definitely exceptional. Definitely will be spreading the word and will be coming back.“
“Had an amazing time there as the owner is so personable and aims to have a “small cafe in Connecticut kind of feel” which I definitely got. She really works to personalize your orders and is willing to try new recipes. I got the chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies , double chocolate cookies, and bloodies which all tasted incredible! I highly recommend anyone with a special diet whether it be gluten (which she has a separate area of the kitchen for), vegan, kosher, etc. this is your place!“
“Anita is exceptional. Her cakes and desserts were delicious and a highlight of my sister’s baby shower. She’s professional, thorough and attentive. Anita’s email and number have a permanent home in my contacts. Do yourself a favor and book with her.“
“Duchess Cookies was very well kept, and the service was exceptional! The women behind the counter, Christina, was very helpful and approachable! I would definitely recommend this place over Crumbl!!!Parking: Parking very easy!Kid-friendliness: It’s all cookies! What else do kids want!“
“The cookies here are to die for! Surprisingly they also sell donut holes. And for the price, variety, and taste they are an absolute must! I got one of each flavor, and each one was better then the next. Like..Tim hortons and dunkin who? Hahaha. For only $15 we got a mini carrot cake, a dozen donut holes, and a large sprinkle cookie. What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. You can even get dog treats, edible cake decorations prepacked loaf cakes and cookies.Even though they take credit cards, they have an ATM inside for convenience. So if you're trying to hop on the RVC train and need cash, you can quickly open in.Parking is metered street parking. There is more parking on the one way street around the corner, if you can't find one in the front.“
“Lovely store with many Middle Eastern goodies and the ABSOLUTE BEST BARBARI BREAD IN NY! We make the trip from Long Island often just for the perfectly baked, authentic and delicious bread. The owners are wonderful and shopping in this store is always a pleasant experience.“
“Allison baked and decorated the most beautiful birthday Cake for my daughters underwater / mermaid themed birthday party. This was a pull apart cupcake with yummy delicious flavors and just as tasty as it was beautiful. In my heart I didn't want anyone to eat it - it was so beautiful lol. The cupcakes had various flavors- they give you many options. Check them out. This will forever be my go to place for delicious cakes and desserts.“
“(Translated by Google) Excellent and cozy I loved the homemade flavor that I found in this place, everything was very fresh and I felt very well attended (Original)Excelente y acogedor me encanto el sabor casero que encontré en este lugar todo muy fresco y muy bien atendida me sentí“
“My friend Camille goes here almost every week and she shares delicious cookies with us. I can tell you they are always fresh and their raspberry filling is scrumptious! I don't live near here but next time I'm in the area I have to go in and see all the goodies for myself!“
“My first time trying this place since it changed its name. We ordered tamales, tacos and a torta. Tamales taste authentic, much larger than what I’m used too, but that’s a plus. Torta had a lot of meat, very good. Tacos were also very good, and loaded with meat. I enjoyed the salsa verde and the spicy red salsa as well. I’ve been hoping for a good authentic Mexican spot in Whitestone so I don’t have to drive to College Point or Corona, so glad I gave this place another chance.“
“Naira Bread is a West African Store with Nigeria food….You can get one of the best popular Nigeria bread ( Agege Bread) here in loaf or Sliced with anything to go with it, e.g Nigeria local beans with the native stew to blend with it. You can’t regret it. An amazing “
“Great bakery with amazing sandwiches and pastries. Now they opened a meat restaurant next door!! I took my daughter to eat at Noir last night. Was really good! The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. The dining room filled up while we were there, on a random Tuesday!! And everyone seemed to be enjoying. Can’t wait to go back.“
“We are new to the area and wanted to try it. We came in January but they were closed for the month! Today they were open and I ordered 2 chocolate croissants before I found out they only take Venmo or cash. They were kind enough to take my $7 and and a IOU. The chocolate croissant was good although the only other time I had one was in Paris, the one in Paris was better. But I will be back to pay what I owe and try what the reviewers recommend!“
“Ive been going to this place for years. First at their orginal location and now in Port. Their baked goods are baked fresh, and are always consistent. This is my favorite bakery. I love how it is a family run local business. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The Melt Away, blueberry crumb, cheese danish and cheese cake are my favorites. 10 stars!!!“
“This is one of the nicest best places I’ve ever been in. The people are so helpful and thorough when explaining the various foods that just by looking at it, you may not know what it is… Lol in the end I spent $49 which I would spend in many a bakery in New York, and got so much more. Their prices are cheap, and they are very happy to give you free bread, donuts, and tiramisu… I’m not even a bread person and I tried all the breads that were delicious. I recommend this place highly.“
“I have been meaning to stop by this bakery for a while. I grabbed a Too Good To Go recently, so it made me keep a promise to myself to visit. The entire neighborhood smells delicious from their baking. You walk in and are overwhelmed with the huge variety of delicious looking baked treats. It's more like a cafe inside than a traditional bakery. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and gave us our box. The treats within were beyond amazing. Rich flavours and excellent textures. This place is top notch! Now I need to make a point to visit more often.“
“So far I love everything! Everything I have tried there has been delicious. I’ve tried the chocolate cheesecake, lattes, empanadas, and caramel cake. The best words I can use is that the cakes are fluffy and light. Basically I have to say perfect for my taste! Service is also top notch. Everytime I’ve been there I’ve been warmly greeted and treated so nicely. They are very friendly and professional! I will always come back. Try them and you will be pleasantly satisfied.“
“Best pastries, friendly owners & staff, have been getting my cookies, pastry, from them for years. Oh,! And they sell their delicious ricotta cheese cake by the slice.Parking: ConvenientWheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the street no stairs“
“I used to come here with my dad when they first opened and I was impressed! I used to get challahs, muffins, desserts, and they were all amazing! Sometimes, the lady in the front would give me the baked goods fresh out of the oven. I don’t know if she works there anymore.“
“If you live anywhere near New York (and like to eat) Utopia is probably on your MUST list. Mine, too. After all, this is supposed to be the very center of bagel heaven. Fortunately it's so close to Kennedy Airport, it was a tasty no-brainer when I had to meet a flight. So glad I did. With just this single visit and (somewhat) limited stomach, I can't really talk about everything available here (and from the looks of things, there's a LOT of everythings available). But what I had was exceptional and I have to think the rest would be, too. There's a vast selection of bagels, from plain to everything, from regular size ($1.75) to mini ($1) plus surprisingly delicious onion-topped bialys. More, too, but that's all I tried. And both were just right. Properly soft, pleasantly chewy, and crunchy on top - perfection in any bagelverse.... Now only a zillion other variations to try....Not the very best bagel I'd ever eaten. That joy came from a tiny deli in Chelsea a few dozen years back. Giant, chewie, crusty, astonishing rings of heaven that were delivered only rarely from somewhere secret in Brooklyn. Fortunately, Utopia is a close second. The number of cream cheese spreads to top their bagel is vast and astonishing. I opted for the basic - cream cheese with teeny bits of lox - and couldn't stop noshing. Utopia's version is actually chunks of LOX with a bit of cream cheese and it's rich and tasty and non-stop amazing. The whitefish salad keep calling me, too, but somehow my stomach and I resisted. For now, only for now. There's so much more here. And given the number of large over-packed bags being shlepped from the counter out to the curb, everyone else must already know. As I said, I'll definitely be back. If you'd like a bite of the quintessential taste of old (real) New York, Utopia is worth the trip even without a flight to meet.Vegetarian options: The bagels are vegan. After that, it all depends on what you put on it....Parking: Street parking and LOTS of double & triple parked cars....“
“Omg one of the best Haitian bakery I have visited. The Haitian pate so good, the bread as couldn't even wait to get home because of the smell I had to grab a bite. One thing I have to say I wish the lady at the cashier could have been nicer to customers. She was awful ?.“
