“We booked our son’s baptism with Frank’s steaks in RVC and they are affiliated with whistle stop for the occasion cake. I was so blown away by this cake I had to come and make a review. It’s so hard to find a good sheet cake for special occasions. The flavor and texture of the cake was so delicious. We chose a chocolate mouse filling and it exceeded our expectations. The cake was so so delicious and beautifully decorated, which is also hard to come by with these types of cakes. I would definitely use them for future occasion cakes. It was perfect and my guests were asking where the cake was from so they could use in the future. Thank you so much whistle stop. :)“

“This old-school Asian bakery serves some of the best sponge cakes that are, you guessed it, not too sweet. Yeh's Bakery has been a staple in Flushing for 36 years. Their Boston Cream Pie is made out of two layers of sponge cake and fresh cream, and is one of their best sellers. If you want it, make sure to come early because sometimes they sell out. It's so light and airy, so soft and fluffy, and so freaking good. Sponge cakes are already good, but sponge cakes with cream are even better. Yeh's also serves slices of some of their light, airy, and soft sponge cakes for $1.70 (sliced flavors like the green tea and vanilla, but not the strawberry or taro). Whole rolls go for $15 each. Cakes start at 8 inches with flavors including vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea, taro, and chestnut. You can even make the cakes into a heart shape! For their egg tarts, their custard is very light and soft. Great for people who don't like their egg tarts too creamy or heavy! Being a Taiwanese bakery, they also sell Taiwanese pineapple cakes at $2 each with two cake rectangles inside. The next time I go to Taiwan, imma eat pineapple cakes like these everyday. Don't forget to bring cash! What we ordered: Boston cream pie $2.75 green tea sponge cake $1.70 egg tart $1.70 Taiwanese pineapple cake $2 Total: $8.15“

“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items. My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich. The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. Hopefully they can improve drinks!Parking: 4 in front of the store“

“This place looks very artsy on the outside, once you step inside you feel like you’re at home with the decor. There are two self serve kiosks which are really well designed and easy to use. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! Definitely come here for authentic Korean street food.“

“At first glance, you would think this shop is just a wholesaler, but to my surprise you can actually buy boxes too!! They have a wide array/variety of sweets and all of them looked heavenyl. The gentleman whowas running the place is extremely professional and helpful. He allowed me to sample 4-5 pieces of the sweet itself. I ended up buying 4 small boxes and 2 big boxes. Toally affordable priced as well! My favorite was definitely the “Mango barfi” which is a milk based sweet. I finally have a place i can go to for all my sweet needs! Especially since it is Ramadan and sweets are necessary for every iftaar.“
