“So, we always come from NC to get our fix of Guyanese in NYC. This is 100% the first place we stop and tell our friends and family how good it is. Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh, especially when you show up in person for it.So the only reason I can't give a 5 star review is simply because I made my first takeout oder by Uber Eats and confirmed by phone. I confirmed that they are going to get all of my requests correct because I have noted to please don't forget the pepper sauce and other sauces for the items I ordered. It's about $85 of food. I want to reiterate that I did both call and write the notes to "please don't forget those sauces," and guess what...Yes, they forgot it!!!Parking: They need to invest in a parking lot next door or offer delivery service.“

“Who needs bananas when there’s banana soda?To many New Yorkers, meeting a Guyanese-Indian “West Indian” is second nature. They’re everywhere in NYC.But step outside of NYC, in the smaller towns of the states, they’re much less common. I grew up in suburban Massachusetts, and I honestly never met a Guyanese person for the first 18 years of my life. I’ll even admit that for all those years I thought Guyana was in Africa...I know, slap me in the face. Many Guyanese were brought over from India as indentured servants to Guyana. Surprisingly, they kept their Indian traditions over decades, as well as their religion of Hinduism, and brought that over to the states. I’ve met many Guyanese and they are very proud of their background. Amen to that.Little Guyana in Richmond Hill is packed with Indian dress stores, West Indian eateries, echoes of Indian music blasting everywhere, flags waving in yhe air, Guyanese-Indian temples, and bakeries. This place reminds me of Little India in Jackson Heights, but much larger, cleaner, and unique.Little Guyana is located off the last stop on the A train on Lefferts BoulevardAnd if you’re wondering, banana soda is pretty damn good. They’re found in every deli in Little Guyana, so you’re in luck- Eating my way through immigrant-owned small businesses in NYC...-Instagram: Eat_the_Immigrant_NYC“
“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
“9.0/10 Finally tried New York-style bagels at Absolute Bagels and I can confidently say that these are absolutely the best bagels I've ever had. J. Kenji Lopez-Alt raves about this spot, so it was a must-visit during my stay from Orange County. My boyfriend and I got: Blueberry Cream Cheese on Egg Bagel $5.50 | Bacon & Eggs on Everything Bagel $6.95 Cheese +50¢ | Toasted +10¢ Each. Both were amazing, couldn't pick a favorite. I'm a bit ashamed to say that all the many times I've visited New York, this was my first time trying NY bagels from the place itself. Their bagels have a thin, shiny, crackly crust. When you bite into it, it's dense and chewy but tender and easy to bite through, the perfect texture. The Egg Bagel was amazing and Blueberry Cream Cheese was rich and fruity. The Everything Bagel was a flavor bomb with its malty base and generous toppings. The bacon, eggs and cheese inside complemented the bagel well. These might be some of the best eggs I've ever had, never seen something like this inside a bagel or sandwich before. They're possibly scrambled and then baked or steamed, which reminded me of Korean steamed eggs (gyeran-jjim). I learned that a quality bagel shouldn't need toasting; its freshness should ensure crispness and chewiness. Next time, I'll resist the urge to toast and enjoy them in their pure form. The bagels are huge, I saved half for the next day, while my boyfriend managed to devour his in one go. These are better than any bagel I've ever had in Socal, but maybe I haven't had that many. The only other bagel I had time to try was Bagel co in North Bergen, NJ and these were so much better. I wish I could find bagels like these in LA OC. Though I didn't spot any specific sustainability practices or see mention of them, I hope Absolute Bagels considers eco-friendly initiatives in the future. They're located on a main busy street in Manhattan Valley, Upper West Side. I took the train and walked a few blocks to get here. If you drive here, I'm not too sure about parking but looks like there's just paid metered street parking. The interior is casual, no-frills, small, no inside or outside seating, just a grab-and-go type of spot, a hole in the wall. Service efficient, albeit minimal. Being cash-only, there's a Chase Bank nearby for convenience. I came on a Saturday around 10:30 AM and was surprised by the short wait time, only 15 minutes. They open early for the breakfast crowd. Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality and big portions.“
“I have recommend Crumbly to patients when they ask where to go after their appointment. Everything I have tried, I have loved so far. “We love everything about this local shop. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the products are always fresh and delicious. This past week we ordered a custom birthday cake due to dietary restrictions and it was a hit. We can’t recommend this place enough.“
“We could not be happier with how our event at Farm to People went. The space is cozy and warm, the food was amazing (with lots to choose from) and the staff was incredible. I was able to completely relax and enjoy myself at my event because I knew everything was well taken care of. I have not a single complaint!“
“Very reasonable and kind to the religious organizations. Our community center have been buying here for some time now and I must say they are very courteous and they work with you in terms of price and trying to fit you in, even with extremely large orders. They even help you load the food into your vehicle.Wishing them success all the way“
