With a little bit of Ricotta cheese. Excellent dish and great portion.We also got penne alla vodka which was fine and chicken parm hero which was very good and nicely sized.The only negative was the garlic knots were kind of flat and squished and did not have a good taste at all really.“

“We ate on Wednesday to celebrate my birthday. This was our 30th visit and the best ever. We've eaten steaks at Lugers and Old Homestead and Sparks and the Orto flat-iron steak is the best. Dining area was clean and overall ambiance simple but appealing. Ordered the chicken roll which they specifically cooked for me and a vegetable which were cooked to perfection. Overall service was great. Server checked up on us multiple times and we felt right at home, not rushed at all. Restaurant located on the main road but entrance and parking are behind the strip center off Hawkins.“
“We had a very friendly waitress. She recommended the rice balls, and they were excellent. There was also a tv in the dining room and they changed it to the NASCAR race for me. The bread was nice and the garden salad was surprisingly tasty. Usually tomatoes are pale white and bland this time of year, but they had some nice ones in the salad. My entree was the Chicken Monachina. The portion size was very generous. Maybe a little more cheese than I would've liked. The chicken was of good quality and had no gristle. I will come again if I am in the area.“

Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. “Whoa, I did not expect this. About 30 minutes ago I just left the restaurant, having eaten a dinner with all my wife’s colleagues and friends. I really thought this was just a pizza parlor- but let me tell you, from the table bread with Tuscany oils and herbs, to the main course, this was by far one of the BEST experiences I’ve had eating out at an Italian place. The fettuccini Alfredo was excellent, the penne a la vodka was also excellent- pastas cooked perfectly and well-sauced with freshest ingredients. . Even the house salad was fresh and perfectly balanced with dressing, not too much, not too little.But that’s not the highlight of the night. The Manicotti dish was one of the best I’ve ever had. Delicate pasta shell cooked magnificently, in a homemade sweet marinara with fresh melted mozzarella on top…you ask yourself- with a beautiful presentation like this could it get any better? Well, the ricotta inside blended slightly with fresh herbs and cooked exactly to perfection, was the creamiest Ive ever known a manicotti dish to be. I work every day in NYC and can tell you this dish was better than most restaurants downtown. Clearly a 10/10 with a friendly staff and a clean environment, I had no idea this gem of a restaurant existed outside of the 5 boroughs. I've lived on Long Island my whole life and I have to tell you that this was BY FAR the best Pizza I've had in years! My son had the BBQ chicken slice and another that I forgot the name of and he agreed that it was delicious. I had the chicken francaise slice and it was fantastic . The woman who helped us had long blonde hair, tatoos and a huge smile. She was beyond helpful, nice and funny! She explained that Alberts was under new ownership. I told her that the pizza was so good that it was "google review good" !! However with work and other things being crazy the last few weeks, I forgot to leave a review but here I am finally! “It's one of those hole in the wall places you just go for the food. The best tacos we have had since leaving Southern California . It is a small Deli, counter serve style with 3 tables to sit.The food was excellent. The tacos, quesadilla, and Papusas everything was freshly prepared and hot. The meats are succulent and juicy.It's not very cheap, but the quality and taste of the food are well worth it.“
