“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“Having just relocated to the area, First Village Coffee is the community hub I have been seeking. Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. I noticed how the owner engaged with regulars and newcomers with equal interest and regard, which was a pleasant change from places that choose not to focus on building relationships with their clientele. The cro-muffin was delicious, soft in the middle with a crunch from the crystallized sugar on the outside, and my rose-cardamom latte was hand-delivered with care. “We absolutely love Jean-Jacques Culinary Creations in Pleasantville! We try to stop in at least once a week even though it is not near our home. Cris, Lauren and Jack are so very sweet and always welcoming. The food at the grill is delicious and meticulously prepared by Wilder. The environment is warm and inviting but it is truly the caring team and quality of the food that make this place so special. It feels as if everything is prepared and presented with such care and never has anything we've tried been less than excellent. The bakery selection is outstanding. Not only does everything look like a work of art but it is delicious. In my opinion, it is rare to find that combination. Whoever is working behind the scenes there is definitely a talented culinary trained chef and baker.“

“I started coming to Beascakes years ago when I tasted their delicious chocolate chip cookies at an event. Since then, my family cannot have a holiday or birthday without their treats. Their custom cakes and cookies not only taste incredible but their decorators are extremely talented, they knock it out of the park every time. “My cousin comes here three days a week and every time we plan lunch this is one of the few places he will eat. I have come here with him on four different occasions and every time I leave, I think to myself why don’t I come here more often. I had the special today. Fish and chips. Absolutely delicious big large piece of fish fried well batter flavorful french fries absolutely delicious and it comes with these really good spicy pickles. The place is really clean and the white stuff is great. I have no complaints but it is one of those places that when you leave you feel good after you ate. It’s worth it.“

This is the second year I won the Challenge - I am provided with FREE lunch, dinner and protein shake for a month plus a nutritionist. Last year I lost 10 pounds. People are complaining that it’s too expensive, but they don’t realize how much time and effort (and $$$) goes into sourcing high quality ingredients.
