“Visited twice in a week. Certain dishes are great. Others are a miss.The first-time service was questionable since they tried to overload the table with the main course when we were still having appetizers.Appetizers are delicious. Bouillabaisse a disappointment, fish dry and very few mussels etc. Steak boring. Ravioli more like an overstuffed perogi. Chicken under a brick very good. Still worth a visit.”

“Came here to meet a friend on a Sunday afternoon and although it was very busy we were promptly seated. We were excited to discover several dark beers on the menu including my new favorite vanilla porter (can't wait to get another growler of that!). It was our first time bringing our son and I was thrilled that there were 2 vegetarian kids meal options! He LOVED the mac and cheese. I had the fish fry which was crispy and light (not greasy). Prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious and there were a few other menu items I'm looking forward to trying on our next visit!”

“Parking is tough especially on 2 for Tuesday. 2 pizza's for the price of one only on Tuesdays. Best pizza in Chatham. I buy extra just to eat a day or so for lunch at work. Food great, service is fast and prices are fair. Ambiance needs a fresh update. Other wise friendly employees.”

“Not the best curb appeal but worth going in. Great value snd good food. The extensive menu can be a worry and we both ordered off the specials as we like too. He had the butternut squash soup and I for the fried artichokes. Entrees we're trout and mushroom risotto. All tasted fresh and delicious. Thanks.”

My wife had the goat cheese and apple salad with arugula and salmon. She said it was delicious and I had the black and blue burger with bacon, avocado, tomato, and onion along with sweet potato fries. “We got married at Vanderbilt Lakeside in August 2023 and had a wonderful experience working with Henrietta and Matt after stumbling upon the venue on Airbnb. It was meant to be because we later figured out that we had frequented Henrietta’s bar, Night of Joy, in Brooklyn when we first started dating and her amazing aesthetic really comes through. We had our closest friends stay with us at the house for the weekend and hosted 100 guests.The look and feel of the space is uniquely chic and quirky all at once with beautiful modern and vintage accents. It's quite whimsical which makes for awesome wedding photos - we didn’t need any additional decor, except for flowers. The backyard/deck space and lakeside views were exquisite in late summer sunshine. The day of our wedding the rain held out for us and we were able to have our ceremony on the lawn, facing the lake and had dinner under a tent on the deck with additional seating in the adjacent room with the sliding doors fully open, and dancing in the bar room under the disco ball. The lawn games and pool table added to the summery and fun atmosphere.Henrietta was very clear in her communication, very responsive, patient throughout our planning process from beginning to end, and offered recommendations for other vendors and services, which were really helpful to us. Henrietta and Matt were also super helpful and flexible in assisting us with our food and beverage selections, answering our many many questions, and providing staff (who were all friendly and professional) when needed. All of the food was truly excellent and everything was served on time. The grilled cheese sandwiches and handcut fries we had as afterparty snacks were a massive hit. Henrietta was also around and available to assist throughout our wedding weekend, which we really appreciated and she communicated well with all of our vendors.We’re so grateful that we found Vanderbilt Lakeside and will forever cherish the memories of our wedding there. We highly recommend it!”

“My pictures don’t do the justice they should. This was a fantastic meal. Local 111 has a small menu and everything is a winner. My wife and I shared the chicories salad and the croquetas. Then I had the fish of the day, which was trout, and she had the chicken which our waiter, Mariusz, said was his favorite. We are definitely coming back here!”

“I was looking for a coffee-ish shop with good food and stumbled upon Quinnie’s. It’s a little bit outside of Hudson but worth it to ditch the overwhelming crowds on Warren Street. The food was delicious, counter service is always a plus and they have delicious coffee. “I need to start by saying, I can not possibly express how thrilled and pleased we were with our decision to have our reception at S&S Brewery. We didn't pay anything for decorations, because the ambiance was everything we wanted. The quiet, peaceful, naturally beautiful atmosphere does all of the work FOR FREE. Very spacious, tons of seating, all rustic feel. Don't be shy to show up for an in-person view; you will not be disappointed! The price of the venue is very reasonable and affordable. The venue does not have a kitchen, but food trucks are no strangers to the brewery. And quite possibly my favorite part: the staff. It is VERY clear this is a family run establishment, blood related or not, everyone is family. My husband and I even made a comment that WE felt like their family! Everything turned out better than expected, and we know that is majorly due to S&S Brewery. If you're reading this review, we would absolutely recommend S&S Farm Brewery for your venue needs. FIFTY STARS!”

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was great, in large portions, and the pizza is something that I have not stopped thinking about. The waitress was incredibly friendly too and it added to the loving ambiance that comes the feeling of a family owned restaurant. It’s nice to see that a family business has been open for as long as it has! The salad’s were fresh, and thankfully they sell the dressing by the bottle because I kept wanting more. The decor could use some updating. The Grecian painting on the walls looks like it’s been there since the 80’s.”

“One of my favorite places to go out. Excellent food, menu & service. Updating March 2024; I miss the guitar player, Steve. The food, menu & service all still excellent, although this Saturday night when we were seated the dining room was full, everyone was finishing their meals and it was noisy. But within 15 20 minutes 2 tables left & it instantly quieted down and the cozy ambiance was back. Have to admit, sometimes we've been that noisy group! It's all good!”
