“Our first time here and was recommended to us as a place to try. We made a reservation for last seating of 8:30 and they were able to oblige. Driving up to the reataurant, we were amazed at a breadth of the place. Extremely upscale and charming. When we got seated, we were given a price fixed menu of $60...which we didn't know upfront. The wait staff mentioned we could sit at the bar to order a la carte and few minutes later, our waitress kindly explained to us and also allowed us the option of ordering a la carte at our table. That was extremely accommodating and a definite big plus in our eyes. My son got from the price fixed menu, of which he got pasta chicken broth soup to start as an appetizer. He enjoyed the aroma of the broth but thought that was just alright. He got the bistro steak medium rare which was cooked to perfection. It also came with some small potatoes which was cooked perfectly and had a good crunch to it. For dessert, he got the chocolate cake with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake was stupendously large and moist. My wife and I shared the grilled zucchini for appetizer and it basically was four thinly sliced zucchini grilled and drizzled in some type of amazing sauce. That was extremely tasty. I had the bistro steak for my entree whereas my wife had the shrimp scampi. This dish typically come over a plate of pasta but they were able to satisfy my wife's request since she has gluten allergy and put it over a bed of salad. All in all, amazing food and fabulous decor. Plus, our waitress was super attentive, helpful, and also gave my son a free taste of a non-alcoholic drink. We very much appreciate the service and highly recommend this place.”

“Great drinks. The decor is a bit outdated, the food is good but wasn't memorable. If skiing, eat there other than that, not a go to for me.Our waitress was very sweet.”

“Okay, I have lived in the W-town area my whole life and seen all the different ways this store has been run.For the first time in my almost 40 years, there is finally someone running it who knows what they are doing. There has never been "regular people" food or offerings here. It's always super uppity food that isn't good and no one in town wants to eat. The store quickly folds because no one goes.Everyday I drive by lately the place is packed. So I decided to drop in with my toddler for some lunch/breakfast. What a change! Good food that anyone would like to eat! Prices that are reasonable mixed with quality ingredients you won't find at the local diners. Gluten free bread that isn't horrible and is actually pretty good!A mix of locals, college kids and some blue collar workers, everyone was happy. I applaud the new owner and we will be back! Keep up the good work!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and the bread was good, they seem to have a wide range of options for folks.”
“My wife and I took a long weekend in the Berkshires. We drove by this place and had to stop. Unfortunately for us we got there at the end of a busy day for her and there wasn't much left. But she told us she'd make us something for the next day. We ordered an awesome Cheesecake. The price was incredible too. This place is a gem.”

“We came on a Saturday night and were seated within 5 minutes. Signs on the front door directed us to enter through a side door. It looks like in warmer weather they have seating outside which looks fun! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was fun, busy and we enjoyed the live music. The kids loved the chicken fingers and fries and the black bean soup. The Birria quesadilla was crispy and I liked the flavor. I didn't actually care for the Birria sauce (tasted like it had cinnamon in it) so I was glad they brought that on the side. We liked the tacos, too. I would pass on the Elote bites, they were too sweet with too much breading. The chips and salsa were good but overpriced. Overall would recommend.”
“I've eaten at a lot of museum cafes and this ranks as one of the best. Not a huge selection, but everything was fresh and tasty. Fair for current prices. Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again or recommend to anyone visiting the museum.”

“I took my daughter here for dessert, she ordered a slice of cheesecake and it was around $8, for her birthday. Everyone was so kind and treated her like a princess. She felt very loved and special on her special day. The building was clean and beautifully done. The whole experience was comfortable. There is plenty of parking. What looks to be the main entrance is the bar and there is a small door to the right and around the corner that is the entrance to the restaurant part so you don’t have to walk your family through the bar. We will be going back with the whole family :)Kid-friendliness: The staff seems to light up when they see children. They were extra sweet to my kid and made it a special experience for them.”

“Amazing place, 100% would recommend going. The ice cream is amazing, they have so many flavors to choose from it's almost hard to pick one like you want to get every single one of them. Despite most ice cream places serving good ice cream but bad food, this place is not one of those, the ice cream and food is amazing. You have to try this place if you haven't.”

“For a cozy, comfy chair lounge around and eat your dinner spot, this was just the ticket. We were seated right away, despite the place being quite full and then the burgers were superb! Catering to a dairy allergy and getting it just right made a really nice meal. Oh, and I should mention the fries! Soft in the middle and extra crispy on the outside.”
“Chocolate craving: 1. Us: 0. This restaurant located in the beautiful Berkshires is pretty hidden, unless you're lodging at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, with John Harvard's being one of the many restaurants available during your stay. We both opted for chicken sandwiches. His was simple - cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. Hers was an odd pairing - caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, tomato, and...pesto? Yes, pesto. It was delicious, although the amount given was not very great and more had to be requested. The chicken was juicy, the brioche bun generously toasted, and the french fries perfectly salted. Service was great, we were perfectly tended to. Back to the dessert - the brownie was moist and chocolatey, the ice cream rich. All in all, the perfect item to satisfy that after-dinner sweet tooth.”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My wife and I LOVE to go to Olde Forge! The staff is amazing, we always sit at the bar because we are part of their beer club (super fun concept, ask about it!). We have never had a bad experience. The food is absolutely amazing and is made to order, always very fresh! They have special events around holidays and random days all the time! Their beer menu is constantly changing to keep the variety! The beer menu is HUGE! 20/10 recommend!”

“Best beer in the area!!! Don't pass up the chance to meet with the owners and have some wonderful drinks. We had the Gruit Ale and Blueberry Heff and enjoyed them both so much that we brought home 32 oz. growlers of each! Such a friendly and inviting atmosphere!!”
