“Went on international donut day, donuts were good but a bit of chewy texture. Only thing that was disappointing was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and hard. (Edit) So I came back after the owner asked that I retry the cinnamon roll, the 2nd time it was definitely better and fresher but maybe I just prefer a thicker roll but wasn't dry. The fudge fancy was decent but on the smaller side compared to other local bakeries. The Lobster tail wasn't bad just have never had a custard filled so it has a different taste and it's very crispy. The Maple Cream Bacon Cronut was amazing and made the trip worth it.”

“Great experience and value here! The space is bright, open and clean. I got a taro milk tea with brown sugar boba and 2 2-protein make your own poke bowls. Yum! The food was fresh and lots of choices. I also like that avocado isn’t an extra cost, which it is at many other poke restaurants. I look forward to returning for some of their spicy ramen!”

“DO NOT get the mochi donut… you will never stop thinking about it and you’ll eventually be shopping for bigger pants. Delicious food with veg options! The staff is awesome, coffee options are delicious but I wish there were more flavoring choices. Atmosphere is an aesthetic vibe but sadly, not very cozy. Nice to sit at the windows and watch the goings on in town though.”

Their farm-fresh offerings are locally sourced & community-driven (you can literally SEE the farm from your table!). Their Bees Knees honey lavender milkshake with gin is my favorite summer after-work treat - non-alcoholic ice cream options also available for the younger family members, of course.”

This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! The portions were huge, the food was fresh, and the prices were competitive with chains like Chipotle or Panera. 5/5!”

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. “Husband and I are repeat customers to Roots. We LOVE their unusual dishes and home made soups. Tonight I very much enjoyed the lobster Mac n ‘ cheese. A recommendation from owners daughter Ayla. I HAD to give it a try. Ayla was correct. I was not disappointed. Creamy , cork screw type pasta with plenty of REAL lobster and seasoned well. Husband had home made meatloaf dinner along with a cup of pumpkin bisque soup. He was very pleased. Owner and daughter were hands on and sweet. We will be back.”
