“This cafe never disappoints. Anytime of year they bring it! From the music selection, artistry, seasonal deserts, and tasteful artwork this is truly a welcoming place. The perfect meetup spot for work, coffee date, or a proper catch-up with friends. They serve breakfast, lunch, and Evernote have a liquor license. Today I went with my Sorors to celebrate Fonders' a Day and bring an out of town coworker to Flatbush! We had sorrel, lunch, and shots. We had such a good time it was a struggle to get them to leave. I will be back and will continue to spread the word about this phenomenal son & mother owned business.“
“Came here for brunch and had a good time. I was with a large crowd so the service was exceptional and the food was great. I had the wings and a crispy chicken burger and it was both great. Definitely loved the ambience and the staff and looking forward to coming back here once again.“
“Footprints is one of my favorite spots. I had a ninth server name Tremaine. He's a great, excellent worker fast into please. To make sure you're happy with what you're getting is very friendly and a nice guy. Wonderful service.“
“I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Not only do they have two other rooms downstairs, but I did not expect live music! The plantain appetizer was very good along with the salmon dish, which comes with some shrimp. I have the old-fashioned rum drink which hit the spot. I highly recommend this place to sit inside and enjoy the ambience.“
“Had to come here and write another review. I had Little Miss Muffin for the first time today. I don’t know how I missed it since I grew up over here but everything was amazing !! Had the honey bbq patty and the potato and Chana roti. I think I may order from here everyday when I’m at work. Just the right amount of everything.“
“Worth the hype, worth the price and worth the wait!!!! The food was amazing, so few fine dining spots in NYC serve food outside of the normal French, American + Japanese bubble. Not to mention the fact that every single dish was a fusion of cultures, and so well thought out. The oxtail, the empanadas, the pork belly, and short rib were all delicious. The Jell-O shots were so fun, never seen that before. The coquito was also delicious. Music had me dancing in my chair all night. And the service!!! Super attentive all night, from the minute we walked in to the second we left. 10/10 experience.“
“I took my baby here for his birthday and I must I didn't regret it, it was recommended to me by my dear friend Abby, and plus I wanted to support this Dj and his wife in there newly owned black business. The food, service, atmosphere was quite impeccable, ong the food was heaven and the cocktails was just right. The table lighting was quite comfortable as well. I will definitely be coming back again“
“The restaurant and their food is definitely superb. We had fish, and curry chicken and it was beyond expectations!! The service was exceptional. Definitely now marked as a go to place for me! We found this place on google and I’m so happy that we went here!! Thank you!!“
“The best experience in New York if your are looking for sth local & live music! Thanks to Bronzella Lewis and the band we had the most local experience in our trip to New York. We also had such a nice afternoon thanks to the staff & friends in the bar. Food & drinks at reasonable price compared to city center. We will go back for sure ?“
“My husband and I have been wanting to try HAAM since they first opened - due to having Celiac, we had called asking if they have a gluten free fryer. They were still sorting out some of their kitchen logistics, but we finally got to try them and it was well worth the wait.First off, the chef personally came out and asked about our allergies because she remembered our phone calls - she made us feel extremely welcome. I ended up getting a "custom" sandwich using patacones as the bread - absolutely delicious! My husband got the mofongo which he said was better than mofongo he had in Puerto Rico! We also got the onigiri and the ceviche - both great. We will definitely be returning and are so excited to have a new vegan restaurant in the neighborhood.“
“Just ordered the jerk chicken flat bread which my family loves. FYI, it heats up well in a toaster oven. The staff at the Flatbush Footprints location was excellent. Believe it or not, I never ordered through Uber eats. Without hesitation, Ketnie took my cell phone and placed the pick-up order. She navigated me through the app with ease. Also, she even found a discount on Uber Eats for me. Obviously, management made a great great in hiring Ketnie!“
“Had chef’s fried chicken, fried rice and cabbage all of which were tasty, precise in seasoning and dining in for lunch was relaxing to jams. They had their own homemade juices. Pineapple ginger lime was deliciously smooth, not overtly sweet, just right. The spread available was well presented and looked tasty. Can’t wait to return.“
“Only downside is I wish I could buy More it was so good. Can easily take down two Large platters but gotta portion control here.10/10, not biased, not touristy, this is someone with Jamaican food experience, I’d say I have a graduate degree in Jamaican food so my credentials are astounding.“
“The food was phenomenally bonkers!, it had the home style cooking and flavor bursts you would want from a delicious brunch. The jerk chicken was flavor filled with all types of delicious spices, char grilled, and succulent with every bite. The team and wonderful service from “Demmoy” and a few others I was enjoying my food too much I forgot to get everyone’s name, provided such a welcoming experience and energy, fantastic vibes. I can’t say enough kind words about this place. I plan to return often for the jerk chicken and waffles. The waffle had crispy crust & savory tastes, the maple syrup was delivered heated, such a fantastic touch!. My partner had the eggs biscuits and grits, holy smokes that had a fantastic flavor as well, i ate half of her food (after she was done), ?Highly recommend. ??“
“We had a wonderful time and was taken care of by ms.marilyn who made sure we enjoyed our orders made to perfection and even recommended us menu items that were a great fit . Looking forward to coming back .Wheelchair accessibility: Could be more accessible : bigger“
“Needed sweet treats for a staff holiday get together. Decided to take a cultural approach and showed up at this bakery about after 7pm. It was closed despite their google listing saying that they’re open until 9:30pm. I called and explained what I needed and was let in. They’d already packed away most of their offerings but I was able to get some coconut rolls/tarts, rock cakes, and some peanut and coconut treats. The gentleman was very patient and attentive…I wasn’t rushed at all despite the bakery being closed. Great quality customer service. The staff enjoyed the treats. I’ll return some other stuff. Highly recommended Caribbean bakery.“
“I had a doubles today and OMG flavorful. The roti tasted fresh. The chickpeas inside was well seasoned. I have had both the spicy and non spicy. I like the non spicy better, because I taste a little sweet sauce. I recommend the doubles! I didn't purchase it myself so I cannot comment on the service and ambiance. My five stars is based solely on the doubles lol“
“I recommend this restaurant 100%.Jazmíne (Hostess), a charming girl, helped us at all times with our reservation, super friendly and good energy. We ordered 6 different dishes and everything was very delicious. Super friendly staff, atmosphere with a very good vibe, fast and efficient service.Congratulations to the owner for the excellent job she is doing with her business and her team.Blessings and good luck.If you are in Harlem, a mandatory visit to this place.“
“I had the absolute pleasure of spending my superbowl evening, at this restaurant. The service was great, the drinks were "drinking", and even the manager took the time to express the nature and history of this establishment. Can't wait to return.“
“I started with the jerk wings, and they were super spicy but tasty!? For the main course, i had the rasta pasta with shrimp, which also had a bit of a spicy kick but tasted amazing. The sauce wasn't too heavy but very creamy! Don't forget to get the rum punch, it's pretty strong and tasty!“

“This place is always great. Just make sure to check your receipt- gratuity is included, but they still have the "suggested tip" at the bottom. Our waiter ended up with a 40% tip even though he forgot our cocktails. It felt a little scammy, and too awkward to ask for the cash tip back once I realized.Food is fabulous though, and the atmosphere and staff are really lovely.“
“the food was 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10 the atmosphere was authentic-Latino.and the servers were and cooks were so so so so nice. and the food is from the owners farm upstate.the owner raises pig,and all veggies are fresh from his garden!“
“Q broke down so I took the bus, my transfer was around the area and I was starving! Was greeted nicely and was offered oxtail gravy over my jerk chicken order. Serving is more than generous for the price, and the taste was off the roof. I’m already googling how to get back there from work!! Saving this restaurant for future visits!“
“The people and the food, juices, and elixirs are wonderful! What a find!!!! We had sone delicious fresh juice and the lovely woman brought us samples of their elixirs , which were delicious and so energizing. We had the spinach and lentil turnovers which were also delicious... I was not expecting such health food to be so delicious. We needed to sit outside because we had a dog and they were so concerned about our being in the sun that they offered to move their canopy over us.The whole experience was so filled with genuine love and kindness. I wish I lived closer, I'd be here all the time!“
“I love this Guyanese Restaurant. Everything I’ve purchase is absolutely delicious. From the Blanjee aka Eggplant and Shrimp to the Curried fish with Mango . You will not be disappointed Folks. The food sell out quick so get your order in before 3pm??? Belly always satisfied when I get my eats from here ooh and the Fish soup is Superb??Vegetarian options: Long Bean , Eggplant , Okra served with choice fish Shrimp or just veggies delight“
“First coming here date night with my boy friend and actually I am having dinner right now everything is so good ! I ordered the salt fish fritters oh my god !!!! Small black own business I really really enjoyed the vibe the food the drinks - drank one drink spicy mango margarita and I’m lit !!! Please come support them you won’t disappoint they takeThere time making food but it’s worth it !!“
“Kingston Bakery has been my spot for beef patties since they’ve opened and I’m never disappointed. It wasn’t until I tried the actual entrees that I was completely hooked. The oxtails are so good and the stewed chicken is absolutely bussin!! If you haven’t stopped by now I’d the time and the portions are great too.“
“Favorite new spot in the neighborhood! Ordered the lamb chop with rice and collard greens and it was stunningly delicious! Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The rice is very tasty and the mac and cheese is PERFECT with just enough spiciness to excite, a subtle meaty smokiness that brings balance and a touch of salt to bring out the flavors, together. It’s an unassuming cafe, small counter in the front to order but it’s bursting with flavor. Will be back to try everything else on the menu!“
“Food is amazing ! Flavorful , great portions and the price is very affordable. Only thing I would say that they can improve is reading the notes on uber eats orders. Sometimes folks don’t want sauce in their wraps or light sauce and it would be nice to have the food customized a bit. Other then that, everything else is great“
“Wow!! Everything that came out was just wow!!! The flavors just burst out of every dish! We started with the fish broth soup, which was the best soup I have EVER had, no exaggerating!! Our girls had the bbq and tamarind wings, and we had curry goat, and oxtails. We also ordered buss up, mango, and a few other items to try. My goodness everything was top notch amazing!!! I will definitely be back as soon as I can because this is top notch Caribbean cooking!!!“
“Bring cash to enjoy this amazing spot.Must try the currant roll. Currant rolls are available after 3PM.If you like coconut, you'll LOVE the coconut roll. It is flaky and came warm.If you like the texture of mochi, and you like almond extract, try the cassava pone. There if usually a line out the door so check before walking in.Line moves quickly and service is very kind.“
“Stopped in here from michigan for a good meal and to kill time. I felt very welcomed, felt like home. Jerk chicken was delicious and was falling off the bone! Rice and beans and veggies was decent too. I dont like plantains so i cant comment on those. If i ever get back to this corner of the world i will visit again!“
“I did take out so I can't talk on the ambiance but as far as service goes they have excellent service and great timing. The curry goat is okay it wasn't spicy enough but the meat was seasoned and cooked thoroughly. It's definitely a look if you like medium hot curry.“
“The best tres leches cake I've ever had. And if you're a chicken person, that rotisserie is delicious. Everything is cooked spot on. Beans are hot. Rice is abundant. Not cheap on the side salad.Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options that you'll definitely find something to eat.Dietary restrictions: Tons of variety, so you'll find something that fits your needs.Parking: Parking is minimal. I would take the train.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. I've seen kids there.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the same level. The doors are heavy but there are people coming in and out all the time.“
“This spot got the best doubles, aloe pie and their yuca cake which is also called pone is good. I had their curry chicken and rice which is also good, tried their buss up shot which js roti they are delicious and fresh. Love that you can get the doubles with chicken or without. Definitely a go to spot on the weekends, love the people love the food. Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking for some good Trinidadian food.“
“I find myself loving this place more and more, not only is the food great but the owners are AMAZING!!! It’s black owned, and the love they put in their food just keeps me coming back everytime I’ve had to come to Harlem. The fried foods are made fresh to order which is what you would hope for, and everything else is on point. Exactly what I be hoping for when I crave soul food. Must try!!“
“Love the atmosphere. The live Dj plays music for everyone. The service is good and the food is fat, girl heaven ..it's a Blead of ??&?? food and it's just perfect...fyi they are pricey as hell and 3- 4 fee's are add to your bill..( my only issue) Besides that, it's a 9.9 for me.....“
“We were greeted by Samantha she was so sweet the hostess … we sat at the bar and Kay was fast with getting us our mimosas and was very knowledgeable about the menu.I wasn’t going to come back but I’m glad I did because my first experience wasn’t that great and these to ladies definitely had a better impression on me. I will be back todays brunch was amazing.“
“Tasca, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan (off of Columbus Avenue), is SO lovely! My partner & I recently stopped in to sit at the bar + have a drink after seeing the New York Philharmonic at David Geffen Hall - it was a great experience. I had a City of Gold, which was delish. The atmosphere inside of this spot is so pretty and the staff were so kind & accommodating during our visit. Highly recommend!!“
“Please don't judge a book by its cover. Upon entry, we were greeted by a sweet young lady who seated us. Not even 5 minutes later, we were offered lemon drops. The brunch was reasonably priced and quite delicious along with my own personal carafe (straw included). The staff was attentive to my allergies (strawberries are the devil) and kindly catered to my ailment lol. There was a DJ and hookah on deck, so the ambiance was just right. The staff was very attentive and the DJ was oh so right( thanks for the shots). Overall, it was a great experience and I will come visit real soon!“
“I’ve come here several times and every time it has been a great experience. Oscar our server was phenomenal and very attentive. The coffee with milk was great and super cute with the little bear. My steak with shrimp was delicious and the tres leches was so good!!!!“
“I ordered catering platters for a party; jerk chicken, curry chicken, rice and peas, veggies and patties.Food was ready on time. The guys packaged everything really well, called me to check when the Uber came for pickup, and called after to make sure we were happy. As for the food, honestly the platters were even better than when you get in the store, really just blew my mind. Everybody loved the jerk but for me the curry chicken stole the show.Food and service great as always from Kingston, always great people there. I keep wanting to try new things but i love the jerk and curry so much I get stuck on them, maybe next time. Thanks to Kingston for making the party a success, I will definitely do this again.“
“I've been ordering mostly takeout for a few years now- but finally felt the need to write a review for the first time with our dine in experience. I can't say enough about our waitress, Jacqueline. My last words to her before I left tonight was I'm coming back when I know she's on shift! She immediately made us so comfortable as if this was someone I knew my whole life. She even played the songs I requested :) Food was great but our waitress definitely made the experience a memorable one.“
“Tried the viral oxtail grilled cheese. It was pretty good but not amazing in my opinion. The amount of oxtail they give is good, but wish there was more cheese. I got to try some pieces of the organic lavender chicken, forbidden rice and Mac & cheese. With the sauces they have, the chicken is elevated a lot , the forbidden rice is very tasty, and the Mac and cheese is overall pretty good. The food came out pretty fast and it is nice to see the food being prepared before you. I don’t live near Brooklyn so I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again, but if I’m ever in the area, I’d definitely have it again.“
“We came early for our reservation & was seated in a decent time. I especially enjoyed my drink (coconut rum punch) but my husband did not like the regular rum punch. Appetizers were tasty (bang bang shrimp + pineapple jerk wings) but the main courses with the curry goat & mac & cheese had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. My oxtail was OK. Brittany was a great server!“
“This was our first time eating Ital food and it was nothing short of heavenly. It’s a cute tiny shop with vegan ice cream and vegan savory ital food. A few small tables outside. You get a bang for your buck here! If we lived here we would come every single week.“
“This place has been around for a while and I've passed it so many times without stepping in. As a Caribbean woman, I have to take my curry seriously. Cause not everybody knows how to do curry right but De Hot Pot is doing something right! So far I've purchased the chicken doubles and roti, boneless and with bone. And I conclude that I prefer the boneless option better. Hear me out, the curry tastes a bit different from the dark to white meat but I prefer the curry with the chicken breast. I know...surprise surprise! It just tastes a little different and personally, I prefer it. It much easier to eat without the hassle of the bones and it's so tender and juicy!! Omgggg I also have had the beef roti, separated which is yummy! They're a neighborhood gem and Only Take Cash. So bring your wallet but don't forget the green stuff.“
“Amazing vegan options with great energy. The lentil and curry, beans and rice, and the plantains were all wonderfully seasoned. I couldn’t get enough of the plantains! It’s a small little restaurant with a lot of passion from the entire restaurant family.“
“Literally a taste of Dominican Republic just in Queens. The clubhouse sandwich is absolutely amazing, the chimi de pollo, Yaroa, their chicken bites and the tostones (tastes like straight from motherland). It’s definitely worth buying, God bless the cooks. The staff, are friendlier in person than on the phone.“
