“10/10 highly recommend. Read about Potluck Club on the infatuation and they were spot on. Potstickers were delicious. The salt and pepper chicken was a first for me, but also delicious. And we had some noodle dish and added the hanger steak. Again delicious. Staff was so friendly and all busting their butts. Really nice to see them working as a team!“
“As a customer, I want to express my gratitude for the excellent service provided by Jiahao. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and promptly attending to our needs. Jiahao is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offers great recommendations for delicious hot pot combinations, enhancing our dining experience. His professionalism and warm demeanor make us feel right at home. Thank you, Jiahao, for delivering such a wonderful hot pot experience for us!“
“my favorite place in chinatown to get fish balls and rice rolls, or any quick snack. i always make sure to stop by when i get the chance. very good food. also the owners are extremely kind and friendly. very good people. will definitely recommend to others.“
“Smells amazing as soon as you step in; the atmosphere all looks aesthetically pleasing. Luxury buffet includes sashimi, so can’t be complaining. Lots of different options can feel overwhelming, but the staff are friendly and willing to help out.“
“I never imagined that I could taste the taste of my hometown in a foreign country! The dining environment is quite clean. There is nothing to say about the taste of the dishes. I recommend everyone to try the pickled noodles, which are fragrant and sweet. It's just that there are a lot of people during meal time.“
“Locations is very nice. Foods good and service was very attentive. And were very accommodating. The server was able to communicate with our group from mandarin to English fluently, depending on which language the persons preferred. Would recommend and will be coming back.Vegetarian options: Has a large selection of vegetarian selection to choose from.“
“Well, this is a Chinese restaurant that is truly worth visiting. We went on New Year's Eve which shows how important it was to us. The collection of food, how beautifully they are presented on the plate, how cleverly the interior blends the West with the East - these are elements that you should appreciate in person.“
“We had a WONDERFUL time at Mala Project this week. Our server, Kyle, was extremely helpful in recommending ‘must haves’ for our appetizers, dry pot and, of course, drinks. We planned for only a quick bite to eat, but the atmosphere was so welcoming, we ordered more drinks and hung out for a while. Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Fun food hall and mercantile for all. Great if you have multiple people looking for different types of food, looking for a fun higher-end casual date night, or dividing and conquering to go find yummy takeout to go enjoy with a group out on Pier 17.Plenty of tasty options, fresh ingredients, and NYC goodies to purchase.“
“The food is definitely excellent. Not expensive (the portions are decidedly generous) but cooked really well. The small place is rather dirty but when dining in China Town it is something that must be taken into account. The place is much loved by locals and New Yorkers, we also had a great time so I recommend it. Of all the nice ones I think the best were chicken and duck.“
“Come here every time am in NYC. Best Chinese cuisine I've ever had, and I've been dining out for more than 50 years. Imagine PF Chang's but WAAAAAY BETTER. And the opposite of pricey. Skip booze and it's easy to do dinner for two with appetizer and delicious green tea, for less than 40 dollars.“
“Generally I give the total five star to this restaurant considering its flavor, service and environment. The steamed pot chicken soup is super good I will definitely choose this every time, on top of that I like sugar cake and highly recommend it. Besides, tomato beef soup, Dai style stir fried beef are also nice to try.“
“Got the munchies? Want to satisfy it quickly and cheaply? This spot is for you. It is quick and cheap. Food is also fresh. People are going in and out so food won't get stale. The food is also tasty. They even have veggies for people who don't eat meat. If you're a straight up vegetarian then try the plain congee and the cilantro roll. Excellent! They also do custom orders. If straight up cilantro rice rolls is too plain, you can add egg, roast pork, or shrimp to spice it up. To skip the line, call the number so you'll be in and out.Vegetarian options: Cilantro rice roll, plain congeeParking: As you enter Elizabeth street from Canal Street, there is a parking garage 50 feet from the turn from Canal Street.“
“Hi all! Yesterday we ordered three lagmans to take with us and were absolutely delighted!!! I've definitely never tried this before! It was truly amazing!!! The portions are large and I thought about not eating it all at once, but I couldn’t stop myself? Very nice service. We were treated to tea, and they also close at 9, but they waited for us for half an hour, thank you very much for that!? I’ll definitely be back ?“
“Omg Yelp revival?? Came here with a group of 5 after Spicy Moon rejected us and it was truly one of the best meals I've eaten this year in NYC :,) Service was so welcoming and the ambiance perfect as well (not too loud like the majority of other restaurants cough cough spicy moon cough cough and super pretty plates and bowls and nice jazz playing in the background) (jk we love spicy moon! they are rightfully busy) I know this review is off brand so will flesh this out with more words later ^^“
“Gan Hoo BBQ offers a tantalizing taste of Korean BBQ delights. As soon as you enter, the savory aroma beckons you into a world of culinary bliss. The diverse selection of meats ensures there's something for everyone, and the interactive grilling experience adds a fun twist to the meal. With attentive service and flavorful side dishes, Gan Hoo BBQ is a must-visit destination for any BBQ enthusiast.“
“Our favorite soup dumplings restaurant in NJ! This place is crowded after 6pm so try to get there early! The soup dumplings are very juicy and tasty and their other entrees are very flavorful and fresh! Try their hot and sour soup, too! Yumm!!!“
“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“
“Atmosphere is warm and service and food are excellent. It is clear that staff take pride in the food they serve, and it does not disappoint! Don’t skip the lamb with hot honey. Wow! The restaurant was a little loud as they do have a larger tables available- a pro and con depending on what you are looking for. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Mama Lee is truly one of a kind. Cooking is her passion and it comes through in the dining experience. Food was great and service was above and beyond. A home cooked meal in Brooklyn. She even packed our kids extra soup to go.Kid-friendliness: Mama Lee went out of her way for our kids with complimentary soup, chicken salad, and lemonade.“
“Tonight, I ordered the fish maw chicken soup and the cold cucumber scallion salad. The latter was crunchy, refreshing, and satisfyingly well-balanced in its herby dressing with crushed peanuts. The soup was hot and rich, packed with silky fish maw, springy noodles, four kinds of mushrooms, lettuce, bouncy fried tofu, tofu skin, and tender poached chicken. Beautiful, fresh, comforting, delicious! The restaurant was basically spotless with cheerful vibes and prompt service. Other customers were either chatting happily or eating. 5 stars. I'm already planning my return to try the mala tripe soup.“
“Solid hot pot place! I came on a cold Friday night with a friend for dinner. We did make a reservation ahead of time just in case, but the restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside. You use the tablet at the table to place your order. It defaulted to Chinese, so you have to switch it to English if you can't read it. We were not totally sure what everything was on the menu based on just the names. Food/Drinks: This is a communal hot pot place, so there is one large pot in the center of the table for your party instead of individual hot pots per person. This is a la carte instead of an all your can eat hot pot restaurant. You start by selecting the type of broth that you want. I recommend doing the half and half option, so you can try more than one. I typically get one spicy and one non-spicy. Be warned - the spicy one is SPICY! We got the lowest level which is "Normal," and the heat builds the more you eat it. I'm pretty good with spicy food, but I do not think I could do more than the "Normal" level. We also tried the pork bone broth, which was a good complement as our non-spicy option. You will select your preferred ingredients like meats, seafood, and veggies in order to cook them in the broth. We decided to go with beef, tofu, and veggies. The meat comes on a plate that they put on its side, which was an interesting presentation. Don't forget to make your own sauce at the sauce station to dip your cooked items in. We also got the kumquat lemonade, which was quite refreshing! It ended up being about $50/person for everything that we ordered. Service/Ambiance: We were confused at first because the restaurant sign is higher up, so we were not sure it was the right place. When you first walk in, there is a bubble tea stand to your left and a waiting area, so it was a big confusing. The sauce station is in the middle of the restaurant. Service is pretty standard for an Asian restaurant meaning it's not great. You will need to flag people down if you need them as they don't typically come over and check how you are doing like at standard American restaurants. This doesn't typically bother me since a lot of Asian places are like that. Overall: I would go back again for more hot pot!“
“It was a Sunday early evening and we didn't know where to go. We wanted to try a new place out and wandered here. We've wanted to try this place and decided that day we would try it out.Everything was good! From the drinks, to the food and the ambience. Good vibes all around.(Seen Photos section for pictures)“
“I love going to or even just ordering from Shan. Everything is fantastic (although I especially love their dan dan noodles). We usually share the Pork Dumplings in Chill Oil, the Ma-La Szechuan Wonton, Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Soup Dumpling, Crab Roe Soup Dumpling, Sweet & Spicy Udon, and Sliced pork belly w. mustard green.“
“The best thing about the restaurant is the old lady that owns the restaurant! Absolutely! Adorable and soo sweet! The beef noodle dish was so5 stars for 5 seasons1. Owner is sweet! Sweetest old lady you’ll ever meet!2. Beef noodle dish was perfection! Super flavorful, noodle texture perfect! Beef was so tender!3. Price was amazing!4. Fast service! Super!5. Location was good! Not the best!“
“I liked the place, the food is good for the prices they give, 7 dumplings for $3 or soups for $6, if you want to eat cheaply and something delicious I recommend coming here, the place does get a lot crowded but it's worth it, The pork buns were very delicious, I didn't like the pork rice balls in broth very much because the dough was medium rare and they were difficult to chew, the vegetarian dumplings were not bad but could be better. They treated us well and were friendly but they only charge in cash and there are not always tables, today when we went the place was packed, there was no place to sit so we took it to eat at home. The bathrooms were more or less clean.Vegetarian options: There are few vegetarian options if I'm not mistaken, only two“
“Had a wonderful Sat. evening at Pusu, where the staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. My table enjoyed the Lavender Amethyst and Snow Fall cocktails, cucumber salad (heads up, it's spicy!), salt and pepper fried mushrooms, hot and sour soup, and the standout black truffle fried rice, among other delicacies. Our server was sweet and accommodating. I'll be back!“
“The place is bigger inside than the look you see from the outside. It is clean and nice. We ordered Peking duck which was tender and delicious. Dim sum was great too. The only thing that we didn't like is egg drop soup which is too thick and bland for us. The service is ok, not attentive, just need to wave for attention. The only beer they have is Tsing-tao.“
“The original hotpot from Chongqing City in China!! Everything is fresh made and Mala soup is on fire!! If you can’t handle spicy please be careful cause the spicy here is not joke!! The service was phenomenal all the staff were so nice and friendly, my friends and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Recommended.“
“This is the easiest 5 star review I've ever left. Came here for an anniversary and the staff made it feel incredibly special. The food was divine, environment was great, and service was beyond impeccable. Anything you could want for a celebration or just a nice night out. The tasting menu was wonderful and would absolutely recommend spending the additional $10 for the custard and caviar. If you're torn between desserts go with the cake and sorbet, both are incredible but it's the more complete and balanced dish imo. Honestly thanks again to the staff for making a special night even moreso.P.s. I would buy the scallion butter by the tub if I could.“
“Another solid place we found in China town. Owners are chill and efficient. The dumplings were delicious, fresh and filling. The scallion pancake with beef was simply perfection. The bread was fresh and chewy and tender. The beef was sliced thin and the carrots and cilantro were crispy and fresh. They also offer many different versions. Great new spot and super reasonable. Can literally eat lunch for 5$ and be full.See you soon King dumplings ?“
“4.3 stars. Need street meat? Good lamb (lean and not gamey) and pork (Chinese roast pork belly with the crispy skin) skewers. The shakey-shakey was not that spicy but a bit too salty. The prices are rising too fast and it’s starting to be not a good value. It was a rainy Sunday 6pm so no line.Vegetarian options: 10 vegetarian skewer options.“
“Really large portions, great value. Dumplings are pretty big and meaty. Flavor of the dumplings is on the bland side, but they do have a lot of meat and are very traditional. Lots of protein in their noodle bowls, they really do not skimp. Great and filling meal for the price in a no frills dine in experience!“
“One of my favorite places in Williamsburg to get Sichuan food. All the dishes are fresh and delicious, absolutely no misses! Service is good. Would definitely recommend reserving a table in advance. Also would recommend getting double cooked pork and spicy fish fillet.“
“Obsessed with Bonnie’s it had such unique takes on Cantonese classics and each dish was excellent. The atmosphere is modern and fresh - would be cute for a birthday or night out with friends/family. Everyone working there is super nice and personable - great service. Great cocktails too!“
“I really loved the place! I did not expect to have a great experience, I ordered the sea soup, the soups have an exquisite flavor and the proportion is great! The desserts are also delicious and the prices are affordable.Definitely you have to try it.“
“Great price and portion size. Very fast service; its like sit in fast food. Food is good. Definitely recommend the mixed veggie fried rice and soup dumplings. Also tried chicken corn soup which was also good. There was a bit of hiccup with one of our dishes because of the fast paced process but it was resolved after discussion. Would recommend and I would go back to try the dumplings and soup again.“
“The most fun and engaging Omakase you'll ever experience. Talk about fun, raunchy and in your face . One hour experience without having to worry about behavior, matter of fact, the staff wants you to be loud and let loose. I've been to many Omakse around the $100 range but nowhere is this much fun. If you haven't experienced Sushi On Me then shame on you. I applaud the staff there for coming up with a party Omakase concept and I can't wait to be back. In closing, forget your mild mannered Omakase and just let it loose here or at their Brooklyn location.“
“Sorry I didn’t take pictures but take my word for it … Delish!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had the noodle dish & was hesitant bc of the impossible meat but I wasn’t disappointed. I also enjoyed my brussel sprouts.Vegetarian options: Entire menu is vegan.Kid-friendliness: During the daytime it is kid friendly. Kids are seen playing with each other. Lots of seating.“
“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“
“I recommend getting here early to get a table otherwise there can be a wait. One of the downside of getting here early is that the whole menu is not available. What is available though is definitely worth it! The HK milk tea, golden lava French toast and grapefruit chicken wings were my “
“Decent FoodIt was slightly overpriced but definitely not bad at allTheir side dishes are expensive and not that greatTheir noodles are what's goodWait-staff is alright. Some of them can be rude, but they treat you nicely for the most part“
“Delicous homemade food. Cooked fresh and quickly brought to your table. The mall is in disrepair and scary when you walk down however the food court stall is nice enough and there are tables and chairs. It is no frills with very cheap prices. We had 3 plates of dumplings, bao, bamboo bun and wontons.“
“Recently on a business trip, my colleagues and I went to this restaurant for dinner. The sanitation and service attitude are really very good. I can give it five ⭐️. Every dish made me taste better, especially the mapo tofu, which is smooth and slightly spicy. It is very suitable for vegetarian sisters to try. It is worth recommending. I will definitely try other dishes next time I go to New York.“
“I absolutely loved it. I went last Friday with my family and we felt so welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious. We were extremely impressed with the hostess Georgina. She was so friendly and had us all cracking up. She suggested we drink the rising dragon and it was delicious, we would’ve never thought to try it before her. Great experience everyone needs to go !“
“The ingredients matter. Chef Guo uses the best organic & fresh ingredients to cook them to their best natural flavor. I love the magic he does with these ingredients. The presentation and restaurant decor just put his cuisine to the next level! Highly recommend this place to folks who appreciate nature, organic and yummy food and fine cooking skills.“
“Beautiful interior design, cute booths, ample space despite the relatively small store footprint. Lunch sets were excellent! We ordered 2 lunch sets + an extra main which is just right for two people with large appetites. The double cooked pork and spicy chicken were exceptional - honestly a quality I’d expect in China. The eggplant dish was a bit too sweet (and I’m from an area that eats sweet) but cooked just right otherwise. Ingredient quality was excellent. Highly recommend going for lunch!“
“Awesome Sichuan spot on the west side that’s got a nice vibe and serves up some great food. Come hungry - the dishes are all on the larger side and it’s easy to over order, which we did - but for the price I’m not complaining. My favorite was the fish filets with green peppercorns which was fire! It was spicy, which I love, but for those more timid they do warn you about the spicy dishes. The mapo tofu was also really good though they serve it vegetarian without the minced pork more typical in China. I’d definitely come back though to explore more of the menu.“
“This small place, ideal for taking takeout, surprised us!We tried some dishes, all very good and with great Chinese flavor! We liked it a lot. In general in Chinatown, food is pretty cheap, so take advantage and put on your boots!I loved the stuffed bread roll. The contrast of sweet and salty makes it very special, so I recommend it 100%! The spring rolls are also delicious. The service was a bit slow even though we went at a time when there was no queue at all. The place is very small. They have tablets where you place the order to facilitate communication. Mandatory tip!!!“
“My boyfriend said this is one of the best American-Chinese food he has ever had! Super crispy and not drenched in sauce like other places. I also saw how one of the employees spoke Spanish to a customer! As another Asian myself who knows how to speak Spanish, it was a really admirable and wholesome thing to witness.“
