“Oishii Bistro is my favorite restaurant!! I have been coming to this restaurant since I was very little with my mom. The service is amazing and the food is always so tasty. The restaurant is super clean and the menu has a variety of choices. The fish is impeccable, the best I have tried. The crispy rice spicy tuna appetizer is my favorite, in fact I would say it’s better than some Michelin star restaurants I have been to! My wife catered my 60th surprise birthday party from here and it was a big hit. Was there the other day with friends. We all had sandwiches which were great. “I went to visit Bobo's Cafe since there was a cars and coffee being held there in the lot. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection and how nice it was inside. It offered a very nice environment and plenty of sitting. I had a Latte and a Maui Wowie which is a fruit smoothie. The smoothie was very delicious and well made and the Latte too was an enjoyable drink and I highly recommend both selections. I look forward to visiting again.“

“Stopped in with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Most locals already know about Tengda’s exceptional reputation for great food so today I’d like to praise their service. They have the best staff! Attentive without hovering. The food was brought out promptly (I had to actually wait a minute for it to cool down which I prefer). They went above and beyond and actually inquired about my friends name so that when they brought out the dessert with a birthday candle, they could incorporate it into the birthday song. “Awesome date night spot with amazing food and super lively vibe. Cool bar scene and main dining area has a fireplace. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and starters (oysters and lobster cocktail). The Clam Chowder was great and refreshingly had an appropriate portion of clams. The Big Eye Tuna, which also has spicy shrimp over vegetable fried rice was incredible and cooked perfectly. No question I'll be back. Highly recommend.“

“This is the definition of a hole in the wall pizza shop that truly delivers on quality. There are a few spots to sit and eat but we were on the run so we took it to go. Here’s how it went. Garlic knots had a lot of flavor in them. I appreciate that they give it way more than usual dob of butter and garlic. There are so many herbs in the oil that I devoured all of them instantly. The pasta fagioli was again super flavorful and freshly made. The lasagna was another fresh flavor bomb on a plate. They had my favorite type of pepperoni for the pizza, a bit of spice. The dough wasn’t thick and just the right amount to ensure the topping didn’t go for a ride without taking away from the flavor. Plus the bacon was NOT that bacon flavored flavored but junk. It was the real deal. This was definitely an awesome meal. You definitely need to add this to your takeout list!!!“

“The restaurant has an exciting vibe. The menu doesn't have a large selection of Mel's but the ones to pick from are delicious. The spaghetti chess's wheel pasta was delicious. Other diners had the halibut special with sautéed spinach it it was delicious nice light and flavorful. The filet mignon with rigatoni had a nice sauce as well as the pappardale pasta and beef short ribs.“

They offered to create a 4 top for us in a quiet corner and whisked us to the table. The service and food that followed were both terrific. A great lesson in hospitality. “Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. A healthy option for good. I came here twice already and did the hamburger the first time and it was so good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile to help seat and serve you. The food came on time and hot. The second time I went then I had the chicken sliders and man oh man so flavorful. This is a place I would recommend and also take my family to for any function.“

“A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere! The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.“

I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. “Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well.
