“Beautiful restaurant with a variety of options, including those for the calorie conscious. My family tried the trout and salmon - both were cooked well and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the spinach and strawberry salad. There was an issue with our order so it was delayed, but when we spoke to the manager, he took care of things quickly. We appreciated that he took responsibility and his courteous manner and hospitality. The decor is very nice as well. A good date spot. Will visit again.“

“Had a great time here last night! The calamari was so light and crispy. We got the personal white pizza and it was perfect sharing size for two people as well as a small Caesar salad. Tried the creme brûlée for dessert and it was delicious! The waitress was great and the owner even came to our table to check in!“

“Decided to check out this restaurant so I arrived at Hatch at 7 am sharp. I was the only customer in the establishment. The server behind the counter was truly amazing. I overloaded my Heuvos Rancheros with habanero sauce. My mouth was on fire. Every time I drained my glass he would replenish it with cold water. The mimosa I ordered with the breakfast was perfectly mixed. I was really amazed by the attention to detail and the service. I have a hot sauce fetish which makes me overload on HOT and follow up with water. I don't remember the server's name but he seemed to know my fetish with "el desayuno en fuego" and accommodated me perfectly. I hope the tip which I left was sufficient. Truly an amazing place.“

“This is my first ever Google review of anything … but think it is important to let people know that Tommys Tacos at the Old Big H shopping Center is doing everything right. Last week I hosted a poker tournament for 16 guys and went to Tommy’s Based upon my own Experience with his food as well as my Guests … who are all “foodies” and endorsed the decision. We rotate the game once a month and each month someone cooks or caters and in the the 5 years of the league (60 games) everyone agrees that Tommy’s knocked it out of the park. I worked with Bella in Catering but Tommy was good enough to step in and make the perfect selection. We went with a Tray pf Birria Tacos … Tray of Mixed Burritos … Street Salad topped with Blackened Shrimp … Chips … Salsa … Guacamole. We picked it up and the packaging was incredible in Tommy’s Tacos Boxes … Tommy even helped take it to the car. He treats his staff and customers right and it shows in the finished product. We have a lot of choices in town … but if you do not hit Tommy’s … you are missing the best Mexican in Town. They have recently added a bar and the servers are always incredible. Also … plenty of parking. If you are doing Shop Right … Home Depot … you have to stop in and get at least a Birria Taco and Margharita … it will remain your Staple for Mexican in Huntington. I also want to add … there was enough food to last all night and into the morning. The next day I took the left overs to a friends job site and fed three other guys who agreed … best they ever had … it it was a day old!!! Tommy also took my call the next day when I had the question … what is the best way to warm up and serve the next day. Again .. in Tommy you have a guy that is great and proud of what he does and does not over prove what he has to offer.“

I have been eating Chinese Food since I had teeth and could chew, this is by far the best Chinese Food I've ever eaten, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back. We visited it on a Friday evening around 5 o’clock and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, with only one other table occupied by a birthday celebration. The restaurant’s location at the crossroads of Merrick Avenue and Old Country Road made it easy to access, with plenty of parking available.Despite its small size, FandoQ had a cozy and neat atmosphere, decorated with beautiful ethnic paintings on the walls. The manager was exceptionally pleasant and attentive to our needs throughout the evening.For our appetisers, I ordered the Samosa, a fried pastry filled with vegetables and chickpeas, while my friend enjoyed the lentil soup and spinach pie. “Haven't been olive garden for a long. I could see the company manages very well when it was not so busy. There were very good option meals for elders for weekday lunch. Good to see. “Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

The diversity of the menu and the quality of the food with its unique taste cannot be beat by any place in this town by far. The drinks are great as well. Despite its location away from the water, it is typically packed especially on weekends so have patience when visiting. From my own observation it seems to be mostly local regular customers, who probably have a laugh at those visiting the ‘tourist’ spots for dinner expecting a great meal. As someone who has visited this town often and tried much of what there is to offer, this is what I would call Bayville’s best - grandma’s cooking, if you will. Give them a try.“

“Taglio is my go-to pizza place whenever I am catching a train by the Mineola LIRR station. They serve roman-style pizza which are crispy rectangular slices coming in a variety of styles including a white slice, vodka slice, eggplant slice, and much more. Their options are endless and I am sure that if you visit, they will have something of your liking. For a recommendation, I usually get the Bianco Roman slice and the Melenzane Roman Slice.Other than the fact they serve roman-style pizza, this restaurant is like any other NY pizzeria where you can order your slices and choose to sit in their small seating area or take it to go. The restaurant is clean and the staff is generally nice. There is parking nearby so it should not be an issue.---------PLEASE READ:I am creating a new Pizza Review Series in which I will be rating slices from over 30 different pizzerias in my local area in Nassau County, Long Island. I will use a regular cheese slice as a baseline and a specialty slice as added depth to the review. Crust was a little dry and there was some flop to the slice. I had to throw out the end of the crust because it was hard to finish. Not too greasy and minimal oil drip. Overall, I would rate this slice an 8.2/10.Specialty slice: For my specialty slice, I ordered a Bianco Roman Slice. The slice had a good balance of four different cheeses and I like the fact that the ricotta did not overpower the other cheeses. I also like that they added garlic, which really enhances the flavor of a white slice. I know a lot of places that forget this important step. The crust was very dry though and it felt like I was eating a very crispy piece of ciabatta bread topped with cheese and basil. It was definitely not one cohesive slice. It could be due to the pie possibly sitting out for a while or it was just made like this. I will have to try it fresh next time.
