“After an hiatus, we returned to this gem of a restaurant with friends. The Kitchen prepares and plates artistry. As it's name indicates, the menu changes with the seasons and adds market available 'specials'. Service was friendly, professional and helpful. The wine list was carefully crafted. It was not a phone book with prices that match the digits of a phone number. There are a reasonable variety good wines to complement the food that does not cost the price of your first house. Season offers value, coupled with carefully prepared, delicious food, artfully presented and professionally served.“

“First time guest and will definitely come back. The first impression is dealing that parking is a challenge and that the place was packed. As we arrived for our 6:30 Open Table reservation, my wife and I were seated right away despite the busyness. Had the joy of meeting our server Renie (hope I spelled it right) and she was absolutely fantastic on attitude, knowledge and timeliness. Having had gastric sleeve surgery, I couldn't eat more than a few bites of my Shrimp Spectacular (in photo) but she was very attentive to make sure that we were not displeased with our meal because of how little we ate.I am not a seafood junkie so my food opinion here may not be the best but the shrimp spectacular was perfect for my palate. “First visit to this restaurant and definitely not the last! We tried the south indian cuisine. Both ghee roast dosa and utthappam were great! They were as close in taste to the ones that you get back in India! The chilli potato appetizer was delicious too! Definitely coming back to try more of what this place offers!..“

“This is my first ever Google review of anything … but think it is important to let people know that Tommys Tacos at the Old Big H shopping Center is doing everything right. Last week I hosted a poker tournament for 16 guys and went to Tommy’s Based upon my own Experience with his food as well as my Guests … who are all “foodies” and endorsed the decision. We rotate the game once a month and each month someone cooks or caters and in the the 5 years of the league (60 games) everyone agrees that Tommy’s knocked it out of the park. I worked with Bella in Catering but Tommy was good enough to step in and make the perfect selection. We went with a Tray pf Birria Tacos … Tray of Mixed Burritos … Street Salad topped with Blackened Shrimp … Chips … Salsa … Guacamole. We picked it up and the packaging was incredible in Tommy’s Tacos Boxes … Tommy even helped take it to the car. He treats his staff and customers right and it shows in the finished product. We have a lot of choices in town … but if you do not hit Tommy’s … you are missing the best Mexican in Town. They have recently added a bar and the servers are always incredible. Also … plenty of parking. If you are doing Shop Right … Home Depot … you have to stop in and get at least a Birria Taco and Margharita … it will remain your Staple for Mexican in Huntington. I also want to add … there was enough food to last all night and into the morning. The next day I took the left overs to a friends job site and fed three other guys who agreed … best they ever had … it it was a day old!!! Tommy also took my call the next day when I had the question … what is the best way to warm up and serve the next day. Again .. in Tommy you have a guy that is great and proud of what he does and does not over prove what he has to offer.“

My little 3.5 year old loves coming here, whether it is for take-out or dine-in.This is our new go-to spot for sushi.“

The wait staff was very professional and attentive, the mood was lovely with a pianist playing in the background and birthday dinners celebrated with festive candles and singing and the food was spectacular! Our party enjoyed two different salads, which were delicious, and 4 different entrees each being over the top delicious. The menu is extensive and has very varied choices. “Lots of fun visiting this location with my family. The café team was very nice and understanding as we were with a 6-year-old and 4-year old. They helped introduce the kids to the cats, even putting out treats so the cats would come out by them. After it was time to visit the cats we were able to enjoy the food and drinks from the café. We visited it on a Friday evening around 5 o’clock and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, with only one other table occupied by a birthday celebration. The restaurant’s location at the crossroads of Merrick Avenue and Old Country Road made it easy to access, with plenty of parking available.Despite its small size, FandoQ had a cozy and neat atmosphere, decorated with beautiful ethnic paintings on the walls. The manager was exceptionally pleasant and attentive to our needs throughout the evening.For our appetisers, I ordered the Samosa, a fried pastry filled with vegetables and chickpeas, while my friend enjoyed the lentil soup and spinach pie. The portions were generous, so my friend decided to skip the main course, while I savoured the Adana kebab, which was a flavourful and perfectly grilled ground lamb dish served with fluffy white rice.To accompany our meal, my friend opted for Chianti, while I chose a refreshing pomegranate martini. “Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

“My favorite salad at WEST END has always been THE MANGO CHICKEN SALAD. It always included chicken. This is not the case now. The charge for greens and mushy mangoes with a bit of cheese is now approximately $18 sans chicken. That was disappointing to me. The mangoes used to be fresh but I believe that they were frozen, resulting in mushy defrosted fruit. Of course, I ordered the chicken to add to the salad. That was tender and juicy.“

Let me give you a proper suggestion: eat here, have a drink or two and then enjoy another drink and the sound view elsewhere. The diversity of the menu and the quality of the food with its unique taste cannot be beat by any place in this town by far. The drinks are great as well. Despite its location away from the water, it is typically packed especially on weekends so have patience when visiting. From my own observation it seems to be mostly local regular customers, who probably have a laugh at those visiting the ‘tourist’ spots for dinner expecting a great meal. As someone who has visited this town often and tried much of what there is to offer, this is what I would call Bayville’s best - grandma’s cooking, if you will. Give them a try.“
