“Dortoni is definitely the best bakery on LI. My family has been using them for many years and for many reasons. Their cakes, pastries , breads and cookies are absolutely delicious and consistently fresh and absolutely GORGEOUS.They are the only bakery I would even consider using for any special occasion cake.Angela- in the East Norwich location is the best. She’s extremely professional and helpful. She’s patient and very talented. She knew exactly what I wanted for my daughter’s engagement party. One of the most important cakes of my daughter’s life. I’m extremely detailed oriented and she was point on, with all my requests. Not only with design, decoration, but also with recommending different options. She showed me pictures of cakes, monograms and spent time looking at my cake stand for presentation and offering her professional opinion. All of which I appreciated. I knew when I left the bakery- that I left it to the professionals to make it perfect. Thank you Angela and thank you Dortoni for being so great!!“

“I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was great. We wanted someplace different and charming. They greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary. When the waitress came to the table she brought us two small glasses of champagne and again wished us well. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best. We totally recomend the place.“

“Vegan streets! So 2yrs vegan and finding an all vegan place with just the right vibes and price is hard. Today, welcomed by Shannon (who's not only a client but also a huge promoter of the business). To see a young passionate person is great. First of, the place has very chill vibes. A place you would find in Woodstock or Sedona. The menu was an overload of flavor and love. We never been here so we had a hard time ordering. So here was our choices 1. Vietnamese fries - it was infused with strong Thai spices and meticulous ingredients. The fries hid under the bean sprouts ready to attack your taste buds. 2. Seoul bowl - I do not like bowls but this was made by the Soul King who took my breathe away. The cauliflower was nicely done as well. 3. Dolly Parton sandwich - holy Dolly this was top notch! This is a much try. Shannon said we should try to customize and ask for Mac and cheese with it.. But TBH the chefs be Cookin' hard and this one shows how much love is put in. 4. The snicker smoothie - drop..... Final words - I'm hooked and my wife gives it 10 stars . This place is a must try to both vegans/plant based foodies and meat eaters alike. Take the menu seriously and try the weekly specials. Expect us back! Plus, much props to Jordan! Great chef.“

“We hosted our daughter's first birthday here with 40 people on a Sunday afternoon. Working with Ervis and Gabriella was fantastic -- great communication and very flexible. The event turned out better than we could have expected. The food is AMAZING. Everybody is still raving about it and a few of our family members have already been back! Would definitely recommend hosting a small event here!“

“Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

“Went here for my Anniversary, they gave us dessert on the house for our Anniversary. I have been eating Chinese Food since I had teeth and could chew, this is by far the best Chinese Food I've ever eaten, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back. “My main local hangout since I was 15! If you're a vegan, gluten-free or whatever, this place has got you covered! They have a great food selection and an amazing coffee/tea selection too! Try the awesome deserts as well! Atmosphere is that of gothic/punk east village right here closer to home! Tell them "Gordo" sent you!“

“Delightful Italian experience! We started with sautéd calamari and the Ceaser perfect for the both of us. The penne a la vodka was aldente and creamy, and the halibut was perfectly cooked amazing with the potato and escarole combo. Exceptional flavors, friendly service a must try! True hidden “

“Nice place, but waaaaaaaay over priced. $6 for carrots ? they're definitely taking advantage of the affluent neighborhood. Bought a small apple pie ($23) and it tasted good but it's like a jiffy pop popcorn, obnoxiously high crust so you can't cut a slice cleanly, definitely can NOT serve this to guests, impossible to plate (see pics) also a small 6" zucchini bread ($8.95) it was good.“

“Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“

“Stopped in to pickup lunch, ordered the chopped cheese on hero, “impossible” hotdog, fries and onion rings.Chopped cheese was AMAZING! Highly recommend. Impossible hotdog was good, couldn’t tell the difference between a real pork hot dog. The fries were cooked PERFECTLY - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Onion rings were delicious also!Service was friendly and everything came out VERY fast and very hot! Portion sizes were HUGE on the “small” fries and the chopped cheese. Will be back!“

“Brian designed our dream cake for our October Friday the 13th wedding. We went in with some ideas, bits and pieces from multiple photos and what was created blew our minds. Everyone was speechless when it came out. Aside from the delicious taste of the cake itself the details and time that was poured into it is one that we truly appreciate and love. We been to the shop multiple times before the wedding just to grab some goodies because everything is tasty and above the typical/traditional desserts you’d expect. Highly recommended bakery for sure.“

“I live in Florida and was recently talking to my brother how you can’t get good crumb cake here. Entenmans is garbage and he told me about Brooklyn delight. I placed an order for four crumb cakes cakes and 12 muffins. Needed to try the crumb cake, Could not wait until the morning.I will say I’m New York City born and raised and have gotten great product from local bakeries for many years while living up there. This crumb cake is the very best I have ever had, haven’t tried the muffins yet but I’m hoping they be as good. Can’t get a good corn muffin down here so I’ll keeping my fingers crossed. I was concerned about the packaging and shipping. They did an absolutely great job. No damage to the product at all.“

“Second time ordering here and this time ordered Chicken Bruschetta -perfectly crispy chicken cutlet on top of a light salad with balsamic vinegar, topped with bruschetta (they were not cheap with it). Delicious!! Along with it I also had capellini with meat sauce (you know it's good sauce when you find a bay leaf in there). Overall, I had a great delivery from UberEats and amazing food (in both quality and quantity). I'll be back soon!!“
