“This is a great complement to the usual bars and grills around town. I would definitely go back for date night. Decent amount of vegetarian options on the menu. The cauliflower was solid, as was the hummus. Mushroom pizza was good. Would definitely return.”

This is clearly a family run venture & everyone's heart is in what they do.It was very busy when we arrived and there was a large group waiting for their table. Other people were there for take-out orders. It smelled so good inside I didn't want to give up & leave. After only a few minutes we were greeted with smiles and a recently vacated table was made ready.So happy it worked out!We occasionally visit this town when nearby and there are so many eatery options. But, the next time we're in the area, I'll be looking forward to coming right back here!!”

“All-around incredible experience here at The Banq. We came for the cocktails and the atmosphere, which did not disappoint, but we were absolutely blown away by the service and quality of the food offered. Our server was extremely personable among the busy crowds of Wine & Beer Festival and gave us all the time we needed to enjoy our time while it was clear that other couples were waiting for a seat. The appetizer we ordered was delivered hastily and featured a level of culinary excellence that we were not expecting when having a cocktail prior to our dinner reservation down the street. Thank you, Banq service staff and kitchen!!”

“This is the lodge I prefer of the lodges offered at Holiday Valley. I like the bar area upstairs, but one bartender might lead to a little of a wait. Great bartenders when they get to you.You can get you lift ticket here.Plenty of room to sit and eat.Fire places on the main floor and upstairs.There is a store to purchase clothing and ski accessories.The food is fine for quick finger and American style food , ie burgers, fingers, fries, and pizza.”

“My girlfriend and I stopped in here after visiting a few other spots on the street and not being greeted promptly. Frank greeted us immediately and his service was the best we have received here. He is funny and and very knowledgeable about all of his products. We ordered a calzone with prosciutto, a persona pepperoni pizza, and some Black Bird hard ciders, all of which was positively delicious. Frank talked to us the whole time and the rest of his staff were very genuine and sweet. There's a sign above the bar which reads "enter as strangers, leave as friends" and that's exactly how we felt by the end of our experience here. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Thanks Frank!”

“I selected this place due to the high reviews. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff were very attentive. The place was clean and welcoming. Sadly we both ordered the seafood boil. It is the first time I have ever added salt to a meal when dining out. Not a huge fan of salt, but there was little flavor. Hoping this was just a fluke by what we ordered. Also odd for an Italian restaurant not to offer bread or homemade pasta. Will keep a decent rating in case it was that particular dish.”

“Stopped there for lunch ; had a burger that came with fries and soup or salad; had the tortilla soup; portion was a full size bowl and delish! Burger was great too; fries a bit salty; waitress was very attentive and friendly; would highly recommend this place and prices were good”

“Ok so unfortunately I have not gone to restaurant yet, however I have tried several of the beers. This is the Strawberry Crunch Bar. It is a nice crisp light beer, to me.I would definitely love it on hot summer day. Now that being said I am not much of a beer drinker. I do like this one.”

“It’s a busy area. We got accommodated quickly and the waitress was on point. The menu was bare, mainly pizza and wings type of place. We got pizza and wings. Wing sauce was generic and pizza was very dry.”

“I was blown away by this place. We were visiting the area on a trip and this was one of two options that were open since ski season is over. As a result, I had low expectations. It ended up being fantastic. The Ellicottville Brewing Blueberry wheat ale I had was one of the best beers I've had in my life. Perfect amount of blueberry flavor, super smooth. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was also one of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, great taste. They had live music while we there as well, but not overbearing at all. Just a guy and an acoustic guitar playing various classic rock songs. Just a really great vibe here. We will definitely be returning at some point.”

“Visited on Feb 25, 2024 at 2:30. It was very busy at the time we walked in with 3 sets of customers in front of us. The employee behind the counter (Ayla) was the only one working and she was really fast and pleasant. She had great customer service skills and was very aware of how busy it was, apologizing for the wait. She really did an excellent job under the circumstances and should be recognized for doing so. “I love stopping in here and grabbing a delicious beverage. Doesn't matter if it's a morning pick me up or an afternoon break treat, they've got great selections and pretty much everything can be a frappe, which are my favorite. I love Brit and all the service team. Everyone is friendly and service is always smooth.Dietary restrictions: They offer regular scones and always have one or two gluten-free scones as well.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome to come in, look around the shop and take a seat with a cup of Joe or cocoa in the side room. I've seen adults all the way down to toddlers and everyone is welcome all the same. :)”

“We purchased 4 cupcakes, all were terribly dry and appeared very stale . We were embarassed by them as we bought for a gift …. Maybe you should reconsider recipe or sell as “days old” . We will never stop by again .”

“Greatest Waffles ever!!!I've been to many ski resorts with Waffle Cabin locations and they always hit the spot while skiing. Just like everything the price has gone up, but still in range with everywhere else... even bigger more expensive resort destinations (worth it every time!). This is an excellent location and it's a must stop at Holiday Valley.”

“Great experience! They accommodated our party of 11 for a bachelorette. Service was fast and the employees are super friendly. The inside of the shop is so so cute. Everyone's meals came as ordered with no issues. Coffee cups stayed filled and hot. I personally Enjoyed the chai tea latte so much, fun mugs a perk. A great stop on our weekend in EVL!”
