“I cannot emphasize this enough: this is without a doubt the best Chinese food I’ve had in my life. The employees were so incredibly kind, and the food…I can’t stop thinking about the chicken with broccoli and the noodles. Go to New Win when you’re ready for one of the best meals of your life.“
“Family get together for a post Christmas meal because family matriarch was ill on Christmas. I ordered a large variety of food. The order was perfect, despite numerous dietary requirements and pesty family members that don’t eat this or that. Plenty of delicious food at reasonable prices. I definitely will go back. The lady at the counter was very niceDietary restrictions: Very accommodatingKid-friendliness: Great“
“I've been going to HDL consistently for 2 years now and it's still one of my favorite hotpot places in nyc. In terms of cleanliness, service and food quality it is top notch. In terms of price it is on the pricier side ($50-$75pp). The servers are very attentive and offer to make you a soup and dipping sauce. I always leave feeling full and satisfied. The Chinese opera show, dancing noodle and birthday singing also make the dining experience more fun and memorable.Parking: Paid parking lot“
“I very much enjoyed my experience here. The drinks are very good. I had a strawberries and cream drink and it taste just like a strawberry milkshake yogurt. I really enjoyed it. The meat was very good and seasoned well. They were different options In regards to waiting there was a big wait the food came very fast. Appetizers were delicious and the service was very good and the waiters were very attentive and helpful and mindful if they see that you have a little bit of issues in regards to cooking so they will for sure be more than happy to help you will come again. This was my second time and the third time I know will be maybe even better.“
“Brought friend here for them to try Ganhoo for the first time, the wagyu fried rice was a HIT. I think my friend is going to get sucked in after their first time. Great for large groups of people for dine in for dinner!!Vegetarian options: They have vegetable available to balance out the meat“
“I came here last year and returned a couple of weeks ago. I had a fantastic experience both times! We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait for a bit, but despite being seated at a table away from the main area, the service was still very attentive and the food didn't take too long to come out.We got the pork soup dumplings, crab meat tofu stew, Yangzhou meatball, and nine-spice rabbit. Their soup dumplings are my favorite in Flushing now that the quality at other well-known restaurants has declined, with fairly thin skin and lots of soup. The other dish that surprised us in a good way was the rabbit, the flavor was subtle but very aromatic. We had wanted to try out their beggar's chicken but they told us they only make about a dozen a day and were sold out, so that's a perfect excuse for us to return soon!“
“Although our service was not good (our waiter insisted that we ordered too much and asked us to reduce the number of items!, it was just the 2 of us, but really? We ended up finishing everything), but still, the food was phenomenal. The flavor of the spicy sauce was the best I’ve ever had. They stir-fry rice was also the best fried rice you will ever taste. Although you need to wait a while to be seated and your service might be a hit or a miss. Would recommend this (10/10) to all hot pot lovers and to anyone who enjoys the taste of aromatic spices rather than just spicy food.“
“The sky was grey, the day chilly, my stomach begging for something filling and warm. We walked past this place and oh did the fragrance of the soups beckon! It was love at first sip. Simple and plain. The wife got the chicken and fish maw special, I the bone soup with beef.Is it the best around? No. Is it the cheapest around? No. But I don't think you can get such nice soups and serving sizes at this price range anywhere else.Give it a try, I didn't regret it.“
“The service was top notch! Came on a Saturday for lunch and it was surprisingly not too crowded. All the dishes were super authentic Beijing cuisine. If you get the duck set, they would offer to either deep fry the carcass or make it into a porridge. We picked deep fry and loved it. The desserts also all look cute and interesting while tasting great. We were trying to hit the minimum for special seating, but the portion was very decent, so we took home enough leftovers for a second meal.“
“The boss is very nice. He is very particular about the selection of store managers. The fish tastes great. Sometimes there is no fish when I come here. This means the ingredients are fresh enough. I deserve the good business. I come here to eat when I don’t want to go to Flushing. Highly recommended.“
“this is one of the best food places in flushing. we come here every time we visit new york and always get numerous lamb skewers. the skewers are so flavorful and extremely juicy. along with the spiciness, it makes a perfect combination and a true jewel of flushing.lamb skewer (9.5/10)“
“First time trying their hotpot. Their soup base was very flavorful and smelled delicious. The food was also really fresh. The marinated meat was my favorite. My waitress kexin recommended me a lot of the dishes, and she was very knowledgeable of the menu. Amazing person! Definitely come back again.“
“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first “
“This is my first time to try this restruant and it won’t be the last! I ordered to food for delivery and it came so fast. The food was so fresh and hot, and it's not look mess up. The portions are big and prices are very reasonable! We ordered Crab Rangoon, Kung Pao Chicken, and Beef with Broccoli. Crab Rangoon is my faver!!!! Everything was delicious, i will order again soon!“
“This is actually my favorite restaurant.Flavor is amazing - even better than a lot of places in China I’d say. Price is just beyond beautiful. For under $20 you can get enough food for 2 meals and they don’t even ask for tip if you dine in.Their service is also great. Pretty much on par with an actual dine in restaurants. I work in manhattan but me and my bf are happily going to flushing just to get their food.“
“I ordered delivery and wasn't sure what to expect, maybe it was another mediocre yet hyped-up restaurant? Would the food arrive soggy or tough? But I was SO impressed. I ordered the tea smoked duck, Chongqing chicken, and crispy eggplant and it was all incredible, up there in quality with higher end Sichuan restaurants in the NYC area that charge double and give half the portions. I can't wait to try out more from their menu, hopefully next time in person!“
“Came here on a Saturday for dinner without a reservation and the place is pretty spacious so we got seated right away. It's located kind of away from flushing proper so the restaurant itself is pretty big unlike some of the more cramped spots. The food was pretty good honestly, you can tell it's very genuine Szechuan style cooking. We had the spicy beef and string beans they were both so flavorful. I have never been so excited about any vegetable dishes but the beans were one of the favorite Chinese vegetable dishes ever. We also got spicy fish, the fish was fried first then put into spicy soup. The cooking style is amazing and everything was delicious. The spice they use are fresh and not too much for my taste. Our service though was a bit slow and I think at some point they forgot to make our fish and we had to ask multiple times before it finally came out. Would have been great if service was better but overall flavors are amazing and would definitely come again!“
“Pretty good dim sum selection ,attentive staff ,lots of dimsum carts to make your selections from - over all a good spot to fulfill a dimsum craving .Place is clean - the tanks with the live fish and crabs are spotless -Parking: Parking in Flushing is a challenge - Asian Jewels has valet parking“
“Had the green chili pepper fish and braise beef noodles. The fish dish has a good variety of ingredients included inside like tofu, mushroom and some veg, not sure if opting for sea bass was a good choice for us but the soup was tasty! Although it's slightly pricey, it's a huge serving. So value is good! The waiter is also attentive and helpful.Kid-friendliness: High chair and kids cutlery“
“Wanted to try a Taiwanese style restaurant, it was so good. The flavors are really there and everything tastes great. We ordered 4 things- beef noodle soup (very tender and the noodles and the soup were so flavorful)- salt and pepper chicken was so crunchy- we got a lamb with vegetables plate (very sweet and savory)- pig intestines (so crunchy and delicious!)Overall experience 10/10 would come again“
“Came here on a whim after having a hard time deciding on a place to eat. Best decision ever as everything we ordered was delicious. The service here is great too, they train the staff here well. This spot is now a must visit whenever im in nyc. Go to orders are the Peking duck with the salt and pepper duck bones, preserved ham fried rice and szechuan string beans. Those three dishes are ? ? ?.“
“The service at this store is top-rated! They offer free snacks and kids' meals, and the quality of the meat freshness is excellent. We ordered a pot of chicken and pork stomach as soup base, and the soup is incredibly delicious with rich materials! We also chose a clear mineral water pot base, which is also very tasty and goes well with lamb rolls! The portions of beef and lamb are generous and satisfying! Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Yes“
“this is one of those places that you go to with 10 people and order 10 different things and they are all completely amazing. not recommended for any dietary restrictions. use google reviews to point at different pics of what you want and be adventurous at the menu—this combo will yield varied and dependable results. new years day 2024.“
“Liuyishou Hot Pot is a pretty laid back spot for some really good hot pot options. They have many meats and vegetables as well as different kinds of soups to try for your pot(s). This restaurant also has a really solid number of appetizers, snacks, and sauces you can create and plate then add to your table. A very wide selection with fried chicken, pig ear, dough with dipping sauce, etc. The hot pot was very tasty and all the meats we tried were great, and the price was not too bad either. Service was excellent.“
“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“
“If you are looking for a warm bowl of goodness on a cold day, this is where it's at. I'm a big fan of rice noodles over wheat noodles as they are lighter and doesn't put me in an instant food coma. Decided to give this place a try vs my usual spot (Ten Seconds Noodle) and it did not disappoint. In comparison, the broth felt more healthy and nutrient at Deng Ji Yun Nan with the added herbs. The menu is quite large but well presented with plenty of photos for reference. I liked how spacious the interior was with all the light wooden accents.“
“Visiting a Shanghai restaurant is like a journey for the senses, with all the aromas, flavors and textures blending together to create an unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail was evident in both the dishes and the service, and we left feeling satisfied and ready for our next visit.“
“I have just sold my first-class mansion in Tomson. I can eat the private dishes here as I want. I contacted several small loan companies in the port, Ola. We are country bumpkins. Just love eating fish. Eat whatever you want. Gang Gang Di is Lu Gude. good “
“Been here a few times, and so glad that this place continues to offer Uyghur food in the heart of Flushing. Mostly have come here so far for their beef/lamb pockets in the setting of a Food Crawl and it's always an interesting fun moment for everyone. While the most recent time we went the meat was not the most tender, it's kind of like an empanada with middle eastern and Chinese flavors combined into one. It wasn't spicy at all, and the onions added a nice touch. The workers are nice and it's def worth a stop because who knows where else you'll be able to find food like this? Definitely want to come back to try the rest of their items. NYC beats other big cities in that we offer a ton of diversity, represented in our food culture and the fact that we have Uyghur food is a blessing, so take advantage of it.“
“Came on Good Friday for lunch. There was a bit of a wait and everyone needs to be check-in on a wait-list via a tablet by the entrance. I believe you can also check-in on Yelp. The place is bright and clean. They offer 2 levels of AYCE buffet. There is a basic option for $19.99 and a premium option with all the beef and seafood for about $40. You can also add on premium dish a-la-carte. Made a bad decision and got the 2 flavor soup base, the pot is very small and with a divider inside the pot, which restrain amount of food you can put in. The food bar is a bit tight to move around and you may get stuck if there is a slow mover... ordered a rib eye as add on, the slides are paper thin and you can see through them. Our waiter refill our broth frequently without been asking, which is nice. The refilling of food can be a bit slow, there are empty dishes at the food bar.“
“First things first, keep in mind I believe that this is a Szechuan style restaurant. Every dish is spicy AF lol. The reason why I pointed that out is that if you or a guest in your party does not eat spicy foods, then you're sh!t out of luck. This means there's not even one dish that isn't spicy. One of my guests stared at the beautiful menu for like 15 straight minutes and couldn't find one thing to order. He finally decided on a chicken dish and pleaded with the server if the chef could make it non spicy. They agreed, and when the dish came, it was still spicy, lol. Anyways, the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean and the staff are friendly. Bonus: they have a nice selection of Boba teas. The prices here are not that cheap FYI.“
“A bit crowded, but no wait for a weekend dinner. Never had the hot pot here, but keep coming back for their Hainanese Chicken. Their sauces are made in house and are the reason we keep coming back. Better than 99% of the spots in Flushing. Everything is ordered through an iPad so you never have to wait if you need to ask for more rice or anything. Great spot for a quick bite or date night.“
“I was told that I would be picked up in 30 minutes and asked for Jajangmyeon in one bag and Jjajangmyeon Sweet and Sour Pork Jjamppong in another bag, but the place that only served Jjajangmyeon put sweet and sour pork sauce in it, and the place that only served Jjajangmyeon and Sweet and Sour Pork Jjamppong gave me only two Jajangmyeon sauces. In the end, I can't even eat it and am leaving a review. I didn't order a lot, I only ordered 4 and asked for one to be wrapped separately, but...(Edited) First, one house said they would only deliver the sauce, but the other house decided that they would rather go the next day and receive credit for one jjajangmyeon. The food tastes good, so if he gets credit, I'll change it to 5 stars then.“
“It's the best malatang I've had in New York ?It was so delicious that I went there 3 times in one week. Even these days, I definitely go 2-3 times a month. These days, I'm craving marathon soup so much.If you eat Mala Xianggu with rice, I think you can make two bowls of it. Many of my acquaintances also went here on my recommendation, and they all said it was delicious. The malatang soup is really delicious. The kwabarou is really crispy and delicious too.“
“Excellent gong kong style brunch style noodle and congee spot, and perfect for rice dishes and Chinese vegetable and simple sautéed Chinese style beef and seafood dishes. I enjoy coming back and doing take out for those days I don't feel like cooking!“
“This skewer hotpot restaurant is great! Skewers are priced well at 30 cents each. The bubble tea is also pretty solid. I've been craving this hotpot every week lately. I definitely prefer this style of hotpot to regular hotpot. Authentic and reminds me of the skewer hotpot spot I used to frequent when I was studying in China.“
“It was easily the best breakfast I've had while in NYC. The crepe was amazing!. Like others, I'm an English only American so I ordered the top two items. My daughter loves the beef wrap! Home-made wrap right in front of you. The egg crepe was will make you want to live in Flushing! The ladies working are super nice also!Go here, totally worth it.“
“This is my third time, and every time the food is served very quickly, and I get sour plum soup every time. I am allergic to beef, so I chose pork belly. The meat quality is very good, very tender, and there are many barbecue toppings. Recommended??“
“I love this place!!! I haven't tried most of their menu items, but if you ask me what to get the first time coming to this place, it is definitely the Mapo Tofu. Their Mapo Tofu is DIVINE with a nice balance of flavor, heat & texture that you probably won't get anywhere else in Main Street. Then, when coming here the second time around, I would get their double cooked pork, followed by their Sichuan fried rice for a third. It is a BIT pricey but I promise you that it is worth it. Definitely check this place out when visiting Main Street Flushing.“
“I ordered food to go for myself (vegan) and my boyfriend (non vegan). The vegan food was delicious, I ate the vegan tonkatsu and vegan buffalo wings.I saved my sesame hot pot to eat with my boyfriend who also got a soup (braised beef).I had ordered a small (I believe that's the only size the sesame pot comes in), so when I unpacked the food at home, I took the container that was filled less since they weren't labeled. It was the beef soup. I ate an entire piece of beef thinking it was vegan beef until I realized the texture was off. I am disgusted as I haven't eaten cow in 13 years. The food was delicious and the service was lovely. I will go back at some time but please, Veggie Express, label your vegan food especially your soups.“
“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“
“Super cool stall, buns are tasty, a little bit more duck would have been even tastier but still, for $2.25 it’s great! Recommend going here for one stop on a food crawl or just a lunch on the go.Super fast service , kind of rude but who cares it’s a stall!“
“They are opening more stores here (new one in tangram) because they are so good. I usually get the handripped stewed pork (not spicy) and its always great. I recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC, you have to try it at least once. The stewed pork/lamb burgers are also top notch.“
“Fantastic dim sum! Service was quick, kind, and efficient. They have a special promotion where if you spend over $30, you can get any one item off the menu priced $8.95 or lower for $1.00. Extremely worth it and all the food was very good! We will definitely be going here again!Parking: There’s a paid parking lot one block over on 39th“
“Delicious food for very reasonable prices! We got the Taiwanese Burger (Pork), the Popcorn Chicken Noodle, and the Beef Shanghai Noodle, which were all quite flavorful and authentic. Seating is somewhat limited because the space is shared with several other restaurants, but other than that it was a nice experience overall.“
“I work at a recently opened physical therapy clinic down the road, and this place is my go-to for lunch & dinner.I like to get chicken teriyaki with white rice all the time, great portion size, taste amazing, and very affordable!Highly recommend!“
“The Lan Zhou hand pulled soup noodle perfect on a cold day. Noodles are super long and bouncy and soup is very flavorful. Was able to try a few other dishes on the menu as well and they were also great. All the lamb/muttondishes were very tender and seasoned well (on the bone and skewers), not gamey at all. The cold liang pi wasn’t seasoned as strongly so it was perfect paired with the skewers which had a ton of flavor. The plate of beef and potatoes was also very tasty, beef is very tender but recommend getting an extra order of plain noodles to mix in as the flavor is concentrated.Service was super quick and nice, answering any questions we had.“
“Best Vegan Food Ever! I usually order more to go than dine in. But the place is beautiful and the staff is very kind. The menu is big with several options, from appetizers, soups, noodles, entrees and delicious desserts! Also they offer different kind of teas. I definitely recommend it!“
“FAST FAST FAST delivery wowww…. Love how you can pay by card when the delivery driver arrives cause he has a machine u can tip on there too. Fresh delicious sushi my mouth is watering thinking about the tuna and salmon sushi I had. Tooo good. California roll so good, miso soup so good I get extra seaweed in mine they perfected my order. I just recently moved to RVC & i can assure that this will be my new spot from now on. Thank you wild ginger !“
“This is my third visit for take-out here and I can finally officially say I Love their food. We just had a lo-mein and bbq boneless ribs cheese wonton and a wonton eggdrops soup. Deliciously fresh hot seasoned awesome NOT greasy. Ive enjoyed every meal here. The people are nice and get your food out in good time i dont like fast because its says a lot about the food. The bonelss ribs are delicious best Ive had in a long time. Juicy and charred perfect. The wontons are meaty and juicy and tender. Its was very busy this friday night and thats is always a good sign. I will def be back for other things to eat. Must g“
