“Bagel Boss is no.1 for me. Jewel bagels is a good alternative. I was over charge (guess by mistake). Sent them a mail. It’s been more than 24 hours - no response. These small things matter if you want to be among the best in the business.“
“We threw our child’s first birthday party at Reception House recently and I highly recommend it those who want a beautiful venue, graceful decorations, phenomenal food and a highly caring and organized team that will help you through the whole party planning experience.1) Price: The managers at Reception House are very clear and upfront about all the costs during the first consultation and you can discuss the many variables based on your needs. If you need outside vendors for DJ/MC, makeup/hair etc, they make great recommendations. Because they are third party vendors, these costs are separate. They may seem pricey but it is all totally worth it. During the initial consultation, they very clearly explain when and how to make the payments.2) Organization: While they do basically everything for you, there were a few things that I needed to prepare. They clearly outline what these tasks are and what the timeline is. As long as you follow their guidance, you will be totally fine. They were prompt when responding to my questions and were always eager to help.3) On the day of the event: The team of managers and servers truly take care of all the nitty gritty tasks so you can focus on hosting and celebrating with your guests. They also communicate effectively with the MC and the photographers, so the party moves from one event to the next smoothly.4) Feedback from guests: They were all impressed by the decorations and how beautiful the venue was. We had Korean food and the guests raved about how delicious the food was.Overall, I wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5 based on my experience. If you are looking for a place to celebrate your special day, do not hesitate. I was beyond happy and satisfied with the whole process!!“
“Interesting names for the sandwiches. It was not busy when I went which was around lunch time. The coffee was fresh, the sandwich good and carrot cake moist and fresh. If you want something to go this is a place you can use. The staff also is great.“
“Margaret's food is, hands down, THE BEST Polish food catered in all of Queens area (perhaps even in all of NYC area). Have used Margaret's services for several occasions now and the food was ALWAYS delicious, fresh, prepared and delivered on time. The selection of dishes on her menu is extremely varied and numerous, and it caters to both meat-lovers and vegetarians. Margaret is very professional and courteous and it's a pleasure "doing business" with her. Never will I cook for large private parties again. Worth every penny. Couldn't recommend this lady's cooking enough. If you're looking for an excellent Polish food caterer, look no more. TEN stars if I could rate her so.“
“Such an amazing service! The food is always so delicious and the lady at the counter it’s the sweetest. The food is always warm and it haves so much flavor, their penne a la vodka and chicken Parmesan is one of the best things I’ve ever had. I really recommend this place. “
“The ingredients matter. Chef Guo uses the best organic & fresh ingredients to cook them to their best natural flavor. I love the magic he does with these ingredients. The presentation and restaurant decor just put his cuisine to the next level! Highly recommend this place to folks who appreciate nature, organic and yummy food and fine cooking skills.“
“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. There are a few racy pictures on the wall, but they're high up in the corner and my 4 year old didn't notice. She's too focused on the excellent mac and cheese“
“Just A Nibble made our daughter's bridal shower PERFECT! From the minute Nicholas walked through the door on the day of the event, he put me entirely at ease -- I knew that everything would be great, and it was. Just A Nibble's waiters and bartender had the perfect touch, seeming to float through the crowd, unperturbed by tight spaces. They made everything easy and fun. And the food was delicious (and abundant!). I can't recommend Just A Nibble highly enough.“
“Dipped in here once as a recommendation from a co-worker. I love their fresh manicotti and red sauce. They also have a nice variety of ready made dishes for those nights you need help with dinner. Their garlic dressing arugula salad is yummy, they have a fantastic tiramisu. They also offer some cheeses and sauces.i highly recommend“
