“Food was good, drinks were great, but Zavier (Zay) truly made our dinner. What an exceptional person and a better server. So attentive, kind, patient with our big rowdy wedding group and had such a good attitude. Completely made the night. Great spot in Harlem.“
“We were a group of 25 with a preset menu of 4 selections. The service was very friendly, the meals were delicious and service was great. We had a birthday to celebrate and you joined us in song and music. Thank you for a memorable lunch with our visitors from Israel.“
“My sister and I went to Urban Vegan Kitchen for the first time this week. We both absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the vibe…all great. I had the “chicken” and waffles and my sister had an empanada and chips, salsa and guacamole. All delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“
“I love coming to this location! The service is always on point. Attentive waitstaff and fresh tasting food. The drinks are delicious as well. The ambiance is so nice and the music was a nice mix of Spanish music. If you're lucky enough to have Luis as your server he is amazing!“
“The ingredients matter. Chef Guo uses the best organic & fresh ingredients to cook them to their best natural flavor. I love the magic he does with these ingredients. The presentation and restaurant decor just put his cuisine to the next level! Highly recommend this place to folks who appreciate nature, organic and yummy food and fine cooking skills.“
“I went here with my friends on a Friday night around 10, and there was no line, so ordering was very quick, and the worker had prepped most items, so you received your order immediately, and she was very nice. I had the Tequila Sunrise. It was $18 and was very good as far as sorbet goes. There wasn't much liquor to it. You could taste the white wine in the strawberry sorbet a bit, but the mango just tasted like standard mango sorbet. My friends had a scoop of the hazlenut coffee flavor, and it was very good, but not much liquor flavor either. If you're a big liquor person, you might be a bit underwhelmed. Nonetheless, for the amount of sorbet/ice cream you get in the cup, along with the toppings it comes with and the glass, the $18 is fair, in my opinion and I would go back to try other flavors/creations.“
“I work as a merchandiser in the city and I asked a colleague from one of our stores for a pizza recommendation. She told me to check them out and I am so glad I did. It smelled absolutely delicious the minute I walked in and I was thrilled they had meatball pizza by the slice (my favorite ?). Not only was the pizza a hearty sized slice, the meatball is delicious. The gentleman at the counter was warm and knowledgeable and made me feel right at home. I will definitely be back.“
“Wow, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. Every dish was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The flavors were subtle and delicate and each bite was exquisite, you could tell the chefs cared deeply about their food. I am blown away.“
“I worked with Holly at Deborah Miller to handle catering for a 130 person client breakfast. Holly was such a pro with knowing how much food for the group would be appropriate while also taking into account many different allergies. She made the entire process so easy. And delivery/setup on the day of the event was seamless. I would highly recommend Deborah Miller Catering and plan to use them again for all my client catering needs!“
“It’s casual but polished casual.$5.25/ Freddo Cappuccino. It was very good. This was the item I was most impressed with at Pi Bakerie, over and above the pastries and baked dishes. If I come back to Pi Bakerie it will be specifically for the Freddo Cappuccino. I could envision myself deliberately making a detour via SoHo for this Freddo Cappuccino. Which is pretty cool that means they have a “destination item” on their menu.I’d be curious to compare with Café Lyria who also make reportedly excellent Greek Freddo Cappuccino (this is like the Italian Schakerato). Also curious to try their Peinirli (“cheese boat”). Looked delicious.“
“Had the Linguine Nere con Gamberi, Calamari e Pomodoro i.e., squid ink linguine with shrimp, squid and tomato, and the Insalata di Finocchi Mele Rosse Pinoli Ricotta Salata, i.e., Fennel salad with red apple, pine nuts & ricotta cheese. Both were pleasant. Relative to the salad, the pasta was more delicious. The sauce was delightful -- I wished I had had the bread with the sauce!! I had taken the bread out first and set them aside and forgot about them until I finished the pasta. The bread was a generous portion, and was well baked and I could enjoy it on its own.“
“Ate here twice last weekend. We are hooked! The pork and vegetarian spring rolls are great, the pork and chicken entrees are scrumptious and the baked goods / desserts are outstanding. I can't wait to try the eggplant entee and dishes which come with garlic rice. Extra kudos for the staff. Service was amazing. Our new favorite restaurant“
“Lovely chocolates here :) I had ordered them online for gifts and went to pick them up, and ended up getting another box after I tried two of their samples -- they were that good! The owner is very friendly and kind as well. I picked up the chocolates on a rainy day, and he put the chocolates in two bags and put tape over them so that they don't get ruined by the rain. That was really nice of him to consider and do!“
“This is the only place in the entire city that I would recommend people go to if they want an authentic New York pizza experience. The slices are massive (take-up-an-entire-plate HUGE), the sauce is zippy and flavourful, and the pepperoni is to die for. I would personally recommend a slice of the pepperoni and bacon, or the Sicilian deep dish. The workers are all very nice and service was quick and efficient. They also have a nice selection of cold drinks to get with your pizza. The joint was right across the street from our hotel so it was very convenient for us to grab a couple slices whenever we wanted. The best bonus is that the place is open late, which meant that we were able to get pizza at about 12:30 at night after catching Billy Joel at MSG. Overall, this is a fantastic pizza place and I would highly recommend it.“
“Our company held a 2 day conference and we ordered catering for breakfast for 1 day and lunch for 2 days. Everything was great! The food was very tasty and flavorful. There was a lot of food that served everyone and a variety of options. Delivery was on time and communication was very professional. I would definitely recommend Gotham Catering for your catering needs. This will be the go to catering for future events.“
“Thank you so much to the chefs and staff of Food Trends for a really delicious luncheon for the staff and faculty at our professional school yesterday, a party of 80+. We did a "themed menu" and the chicken, fish, and vegetables were all delicious. So often the vegetable dishes and sides are afterthoughts but the beans and potatoes were scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they brought cards that identified the food items and indicated if the food was vegan, gluten free, etc. (most caterers haven't done that in my experience). The staff who dropped off the food were prompt and friendly. And Kelly, rep from the catering team who assisted me with the order, was helpful and responsive. All around I had an exceptional experience with Food Trends.“
“Walked in randomly on a Friday and got the toro special. It was a decent price for toro and it was well presented + quickly served. It wasn't too flavorful since the rice wasn't that seasoned. I relied heavily on the soy sauce and wasabi instead and it was a decent experience. It was a lot smaller than it looks though. I don't generally eat much as I'm a small person but I was easily able to finish the roll + handroll and still wanted more food. Overall I would go back and try other things there. Also saw another reviewer mention that they had soup with the lunch special but I didn't get any soup and it doesn't seem to mention soup being included on the lunch special menu. Just FYI“
“This place is so good my good to spot tha tall , skinny guy is super helpful and kind- Calzone 8.5 / 10- Sicilian Pizza 8.0 / 10- Pepperoni Roll 8.0 / 10- Chicken Roll 8.0 / 10- Turkey Burger 8.0 / 10 / Fries 6.0 / 10- Salad 8.0 / 10- Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta 8.5 / 10- Garlic Knots 8.0 / 10- Buffalo Wings 7.5 / 10- Milkshake 6.0 / 10“
“Jeffrey and his team were exceptional. They arrived right on time and hit the ground running. The food was delicious; dishes were well executed. They were courteous and took great care of our guests. They thought of all the little details and the kitchen was left spotless. We will definitely use them again.“
“If you can make reservations if not you'll have a long wait. The food was very good and the portions were big enough for two to three people. If you can ask to be seated at " Marc B" section. He was our server and he was excellent! Overall a great dining experience.“
“I've used Chris now for three events and have nothing but remarkable things to say about the guy. He's easily the single most professional, efficient and all around best caterer/chef I've ever com across. From planning an intimate 20 person get together to a 4 hour, 150 person rooftop carnival, Chris can take a 30 second conversation and turn it into something beyond your wildest dreams. The man is an absolute legend and the only caterer in NYC you need to consider using. He's sharp as a tack and has a staff unlike any other ready and will to help in any and every way necessary.“
“This place is very nice but very small. There is one bathroom for everyone and the lights there are very dim. It looks larger on the pictures than reality. We enjoyed our avocado rolls and dumplings on the patio. It is a very limited menu for food and drinks. The positive is that it is very cute and they have a train caboose that you can also dine in on the street.“
“What’s the Kitch? Catered my husband’s 75th birthday party for 24 people in our apartment in Manhattan. From my initial contact right through til the end of the party, I knew this was the caterer for us. Jeffrey and his assistant were extremely professional. I loved his “if you want it, we can make it happen” approach. We had a wonderful selection of light bites that were all outstanding. They were prepared and served (and cleaned up!) right at home, making it a very intimate and fun evening. We were so impressed that we have already booked him for our holiday party in December. Five stars all the way!“
“Darbar is an absolute gem. Food is fantastic & incredibly authentic (not to mention the best prices for indian food in NYC!) Do yourself a favor and get the Chicken 65 — be warned, it is a (spicy) explosion of flavor on your tastebuds. The classics like vindaloo & tikka go hardddd and “lesser known” dishes (ie by the white americans ;) ) like balchao, chana saag, etc. are wondrous. Service is kind, attentive, and very helpful. Truly cannot beat this place for date night, friends/family dinner, work gathering (private room upstairs too!), or even a solo experience.“
“Our favorite place for dinner!!! Ate there three times in four days! The plates and bowls were incredible. Shrimp. Chicken. Avocado. Coconut rice. And the sweet plantains!!! Nicest hostess ever — Catalina is a ray of sunshine! Makes us sad to return to Indiana.“
“We used Thomas Oliver's Catering for a private event and everyone enjoyed the food. Gary was very easy to work with and flexible with any changes for dietary preferences. He was communicative throughout the entire process and his staff were pleasant and professional. We enjoyed working with them and would recommend it to anyone! Portions sizes were great - great value for money. Thank you!“
“Igor and his team were beyond exceptional!! From the staff to the custom drinks to the beautiful presentation of passed small bites. He was so attentive leading up to our event and was willing to make last minute changes that our client had requested. Highly recommend and will definitely be using him again.“
“We came for the Lamb Vandaloo and the Lamb Rogan Josh, and I must tell you, they were one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The Lamb comes with rice and some rich tasty naan. They had some great healthy appetizers as well as in califlower. But it was a nice setting as we ate inside. Nice group of people with families and friends and all. Great food and great taste, You get more for your money here.“
“We ate here twice in less than 24 hours while in town last month for the birth of our granddaughter. The back room had a cozy vibe; Rolando was extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly; and the food was outstanding! I had the shrimp and scallops fra diavolo. My husband had the veal rollatine. Then Rolando surprised us with delicious cannoli on the house in honor of us becoming grandparents, which was very thoughtful! I’m Italian so my standards are high, and our meals tasted like being back in my grandma’s kitchen! We went back for lunch the next day in the front room. We enjoyed yummy pizza and caprese salad, along with another warm welcome from Rolando. We look forward to returning next time we’re in town!“
