“beautiful interior and good food. the broths were flavorful and the spicy one was not too intense. and it comes with a clever thing to put your meat in so that when you retrieve it you are not overwhelmed by peppers.
the grapefruit yakult drink was also good, and they have a good selection of ingredients.
also the waiters were attentive, checking in to refresh water, plates, and stir the broth.“

“The experience at this place was wonderful this is because it is a small store and they sell lots of different kinds of food. The different kinds of foods that they sell are buns, boas, pot stickers, tea eggs, and many others. The food there is tasty and the service is wonderful. The prices are good and can be busy during meal times.“

“On a chilly winter day, Ji Bei Chuan is the perfect spot for hot, delicious soup rice noodles! Ji Bei Chuan offers some of the best fish maw soup, and they definitely don’t skimp on the fish maw, vegetables, and other ingredients.
The Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodles is a great example of the restaurant’s decent quality in food preparation. The noodle soup is filled with great portions of ingredients and a hot, hearty soup that actually tastes of fish maw. Their Fish Soup Rice Noodles also doesn’t disappoint. The soup is made with chicken and pork bone, and it goes really well with the abundance of vegetables and fish slices!
Overall, I’m eager to try out their other soup noodles on my next visit as well as their popular mixed noodles!“

“The interior is on the plain side, but it is clean. We placed a to-go order on the kiosk. It seems that a lot of their business is to-go. We ordered the beef noodle soup and the zha jiang mian. The beef noodle soup was savory and tasty, but rather salty. We thought the zha jiang mian was a little bland and just okay. Our order also came with some small containers of peanuts and pickled vegetables, which was a nice surprise. Overall, the food was decent, but I wouldn’t come here often as each noodle dish came out to an average of $16.“
“A pickup/delivery only family kitchen serving authentic Hakka/Taiwanese dishes: rice noodles, savory tang yuan (glutinous rice ball), braised bamboo shoots, braised pig feet, zha jian mian and more. I have explored most of the menu and everything is homey and yummy. The owner is super friendly, always willing to hear feedback and custom flavors based on your palate. Definitely a hidden treasure either you are looking for this type of dishes or you have no idea what Hakka is, try and find out!“

“You get what you come for - great (fried) dumplings! Definitely ask for spicy sauce. My fav are pork, scallions & shrimp and lamb! I always go for fried, but the dumplings are great too. About 12$ for 12 pieces. They‘ve a great electronic order system that helps if you only speak English and want to pay with card! :)“
“Got a tongue here. Guys were eating lunch when I arrived but quickly stopped to help me. I was amazed by how polite and courteous they treated me (im white and used to short tempered service unfortunately on Main st). That was NOT the case here. Very super friendly. And I just made myself a tongue sandwich. Delicious!!“

“It’s not easy to find authentic local cuisine in New York. This one is so good, it made me think I was actually eating dim sum in Shanghai. After ordering the fried buns and xiaolongbao, they will remind you that you have to wait for more than ten minutes. I am willing to wait because then I can rest assured that it will be freshly made.
It's not easy finding authentic Shanghainese food in New York. When you eat here, you'll feel like you're in Shanghai. You'll have to wait for your soup dumplings or pan fried steamed buns because they make it TO ORDER, a novelty in today's fast past environment.“

“This place is good, certainly unique in their food fusion. I wouldn't say it has a "wow" factor and the BBQ ribs are pretty standard...it's missing something, like a sauce but worth a try.
Prices have gone up, attached latest menu.“

“I'm not a chinese food expert but the sweet and sour ribs were excellent, full of flavor and delicious. The beef udon noodles were unbelievably good and I couldn't eat enough.
You have to hand it to the staff for being so attentive and quick , same to the kitchen for getting the dishes out fast.
A very enjoyable meal and prices are in line with most restaurants these days.
The only pita was the parking situation, you have to find a spot on the street or in a garage, be careful.“

“They serve the most authentic and delicious rolled noodles (Hong Kong street style)! I'm impressed this tiny shop actually provides a decent varieties and I recommend this place at all costs! Yes, the price has been going up but I still support this one and only place in Flushing! By the way all ladies have different characters lol, they are nice and helpful. Usual wait time is 5 - 10 minutes.“

“Definitely recommend coming here for the experience if you love hotpot. Their food is not much different from other hotpot places, but what sets this place different than the rest is their service. The waiters are all super attentive and try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. If you come at the right times, they might even have performances and shows.“
