“Vegan baked goods??!! Let's give it a try. Dulce de leche - not too sweet at all, a good nutty flavor. Buttercream is not sweet and the cupcake itself is very moist Oreo - a bit dry on the outside, the buttercream has mashed up oreos in it, which doesn't make it creamy but with a crunchier texture. There isn't much of a chocolate taste. My least favorite Dark chocolate - the cupcake itself is on the dry side and less chocolate taste. The buttercream is smooth and a rich dark chocolate. Carrot cake - very moist and soft. You can see shaved pieces of carrots. I think it needs a pinch more of cinnamon. The cream cheese buttercream on top is on a sweeter side but really creamy. I didn't like the carrot decorations bc it's too much food coloring in it. Overall, I'm a fan of vegan cupcakes as it's not on the sweet side. There is a balanced ration of buttercream to cupcake. The chocolate cupcakes needs to be baked a bit less and need more chocolate taste.“

“I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! “Nice to have an all-vegan cafe with lots of breakfast and lunch options and a huge selection of baked goods. Just order wisely. I had only come here once before (in 2017) and was ambivalent then. I returned and I’m still ambivalent. I ordered poorly: the breakfast burrito was plain with a tofu scramble that anyone could replicate at home in a wrap (although the vegan bacon bites were distinct); it was cut in half and fell apart. But I was hungry and wanted something healthy and nourishing. At $15 it seemed overpriced for what I got. The almond croissant was also a mistake— big and crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. It didn’t taste like almond and I couldn’t tell if it was gooey because it had some (non-almond) spread or because it was very undercooked. The inside of the cafe also has a beautiful little market with bulk soaps and other nice things like candles to purchase. I’ll be back to try other things on their menu.“
