“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“
“I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.“
“What a great time! I recently visited House to celebrate a birthday party. The food (lamb chops and wings are delicious) and drinks were spot on. Shout out to Chef Puff, Rihanna and whoever the DJ was. The music was so good we had a dance party after we finished our food. I will definitely visit again with more friends and family. Great addition to the neighborhood.“
“The service and atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing! My partner and I got pho with sliced beef, and also a traditional banh mi. This is easily the best pho that we have both ever tried, and we have tried many places in Manhattan, Queens, and along Suffolk County. The broth was very clean, flavorful, and had lots of depth! The banh mi was very tasty and satisfying, their pickled vegetables are refreshing. For 2 phos and a banh mi, it was around $40, so it was a great price for a lot of delicious food! Also as an added bonus, we got fried shrimp on the house! It was such a pleasant and sweet gesture. While I don't frequent this area often, when I come back, I will definitely be visiting here again!!“
“Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.“
“This is hands down the best restaraunt on LOng Island. No one is doing flavors like Tiga. My boyfriend and I were driving to this place almost weekly and it's 45 min away from us. Everything is amazing but TRUST ME when I say you need the Foxy Lady roll. Also the server Jennifer is beyond explanatory, kind, and enthusiastic. We always ask to be sat in her section bc she is the BEST. 10/10“
“Today was my birthday and my wife asked me where I wanted to dine out with our two kids. I mentioned a few options, and asked for her thoughts. She mentioned having gong to Yummy Yummy with some of her girl friends recently. I agreed and we headed out there. We arrive about 6:45pm and most Bell Blvd, 48th Ave or adjacent streets surrounding the restaurant are paid metered parking till 7pm Mon thru Sat, and Free Sundays. On the side roads if you walk further you'll notice where the paid metered parking ends there is free public parking. My wife called ahead and made reservations for my birthday for 7pm. In conversation they reserved us half a Hainanese Chicken. That was a good idea because the place was packed at 85% full when we arrived. This evening was cold and a col breeze would rush in when the front door was opened. This restaurant has its own style. It's clean, well lit, ceiling fans in the front half with wood planks hanging vertically evenly space like steps getting lower toward the front of the restaurant. The planks are burnt with texture and they seemed to absorb sound making the restaurant atmosphere less noisy with so many patrons talking - it was comfortable and you could hold a conversation. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Cantonese you'll enjoy your dining experience because my wife conversed with our waitress asking about dishes before we ordered. We ordered the following dishes and am listing them in the order they were served.Roti Pancake - we ordered two which was served with a small bowl of curry chicken with chucks of potato.Cumin Pork Knuckles - served in a plastic basket they were crispy and mouthwatering savory.Fried Beef Chow Fun - my son immediately mentioned the dish had Wok Hei, the beef and noodle was savory.Steak with Back Truffle and Mushrooms - The beef was tender , with thick slices of mushroom and potato, and the truffle infused sauce was delicious.Hainanese Chicken - there was a slight wait on this dish. The check was tender and moist, it was served on a bed of thin sliced cucumber. A sauce tray with four sauces accompanied the chicken adding to the flavor of this dish.* I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorites were the Chow Fun and Steak.Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but the food did not disappoint so I was only able to ask at the last moment my daughter to snap a quick picture of the Hainenese Chicken which I'm still waiting on her to forward to me for this review.Payment - We were told they didn't take Discover, and listed MasterCard or Visa, and cash is king.I gave Yummy Yummy 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are more and more quality Asian restaurants beyond Manhattan/Chinatown, , Brooklyn/Chinatown, and Flushing/Chinatown. I'd rate it $$, but I'd keep in mind that prices have been rising. *One unofficial litmus test I'd point out is that if an Asian restaurant is patronized by a high number of Asian regularly there is a high chance the food is good.“
“So I'm in this shopping center often but this is my first time at Kirazu Sushi. There are about 3 dine in table plus a few seats at the sushi bar. I sat at the sushi bar with my husband. It was a busy night, lots of takeout orders and all tables filled. I really liked the vibe of the restaurant-fun music playing you want to sing along to. All other customers were returning customers, the owner greeted many by first name. Lovely waitress who was kind and the sushi chef was non stop making sushi for everyone. The staff running the restaurant said it was a busy night so the sushi might take a little longer. It wasn't an issue at all because it was so nice listening to the music they had playing on a stereo and we ordered and enjoying our night. Once the food was served, I thought my sushi was great. I'm a lover of a dragon roll and sushi sandwich and the sushi chef did a great job with the ratio of all ingredients and flavors. I was really pleased with my meal and so was my husband. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual sushi dinner for locals of the neighborhood to enjoy. I will be back!!Thanks for a great experience“
“Loved the food! Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! It was a bit dark inside which made it harder to see but all in all the hostess/staff was very attentive even with our big group on a Sunday afternoon! I would definitely be coming back again!“
“The food here is incredible. Everything is extremely flavorful, fresh and very well portioned. I’ve ordered a few different dishes, and all were very very tasty. I’m extremely picky when it comes to sushi, and theirs never disappoints! Also their white rice is my absolute favorite, cooked perfectly.“
“Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! Quality is amazing. We order from here a lot, and they package everything so organized, provide chopsticks, soy sauce and deliver in a quick manner. Hot food we order is always still hot upon arrival! Highly suggest!“
“It's Saturday and decided to bring my wife for a quick date night. The place looks cozy and the food selection looks pretty unique. I had the Wagyu burger while she had the Beef rib with bone marrow. Both food came out good and we will definitely come back.“
“Stopped at Mira Sushi on the way to JFK. Atmosphere was great, very welcoming the second you enter, no wait. Menu is extensive, lots of delicious options for food and drink at reasonable prices. Food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and tasty. Service was great too. There was never a time where we were waiting to be helped. Employees are very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.“
“The service is great, the food is delicious and the presentation is even better! I ordered their lunch chicken teriyaki Benton box . A plate like this would cost $35 plus dollars in Manhattan but in Jamaica NY it was less than $20.The picture doesn’t include the Thai tea I ordered and the salad that comes with the bento box.The place is clean and the food presentation is exceptional.“
“Very nice place, the menu boasts a wide variety of options, from classic favorites like General Tso's Chicken to more adventurous dishes like Szechuan Spicy Beef. Each dish is prepared with care, using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.“
“Cotillion has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Long Island for years, offering an unmatched dining experience every time. Their classics like Chicken Tikka, Cotillion Special Biryani, and the Malai Kabab never disappoint, but it's the Chilli Fried Lamb that truly steals the show. The fusion of traditional and innovative, especially with dishes like Hakka Noodles Chilli Paneer, sets Cotillion apart. Whether dining in or opting for their excellent catering service, Cotillion is a culinary jewel worth experiencing.“
“I ordered Musubi. It didn’t look like on a picture, but tasted pretty good. Prices inside cheaper then ordering to go (maybe it’s like this everywhere, but that’s what I noticed). I was waiting for a while for my order even though place was not busy. I would come back to try poke bowl if I would be in the area, but wouldn’t drive there just for the food.“
“I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and Tommy was incredibly accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish The food was absolutely delicious, and my bridal party still raves about it, especially the sushi! The staff was also very attentive and made sure that all of our needs were met. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.“
“Food was good, drinks were NOT it. However service could have been better. Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. Again totally fine, but I think that’s why we were given poor service as they know they will make their money regardless. This place leaves much to be desired.“
“My wife and I came to Nomiya for a Valentine’s date. The food was good, though there’s definitely good sushi in the area for cheaper. Service was pretty lackluster. Nobody checked on us during the meal, they cleared our plates but we had to wait 15 minutes and then flag somebody down to get our bill. It’s quite a small restaurant and wasn’t full at the time.“
“Solid spot. They stay open very late. My group ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it. Nachos were great (bulgogi is the star), tteokbokki was spicy and delicious. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and accommodating. I'll be back again soon.“
“Fresh, delicious food at very reasonable price, paired with great, friendly service --- what else can one ask for? Perhaps a variety of Asian food including quality sushi, poke bowls and ramen dishes? Yep - they have you covered in a clean dining room. Even the fish in the aquarium at the entrance are well-behaved and wish you a "bon apetit" when you enter! [Just kidding, but only about that last part]. Happy that we found this place, and will be back!“
“I've been here three times with three different groups of friends and they've all loved this place. I always get sushi however one person I went with didn't eat sushi, but he loved the General Tso's chicken. They have a great assortment and diversity of selections on their menu. Their sushi is very fresh, beautifully presented and melts in your mouth. There are plenty of cooked options as well for people who do not eat sushi. The ambience is nice with a smaller sized dining room, and the service is outstanding. It's nice because the servers are on top of your meal/order without being on top of your table. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back again.“
“The owner of iDiner moved about four stores away to Irma off of Main Street, and I'd have to say ambiance wise it's truly an upgrade. They have a beautiful dining patio outside and a humble interior. The bathroom is easy to get to and spacious. Everything is at grade level which is even better for handicapped people. I had a party of six and we sat outside. There was a good mix of shade and sun for those who didn't mind being a little cold or hot. The restaurant was able to accommodate us on Easter Sunday an hour earlier than they originally do open, so we would be guaranteed a place to eat. (Every other option was fully booked a week in advance!) The food was really good. We had a mix of beer and boba shakes for those of us who are sober. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!“
“This was my first visit to JR Fusion. The menu is great and there's something for everyone. There is a full bar. The restaurant is clean and cozy. While there are many Chinese and Japanese selections on the menu i can tell you that the sushi is fresh and outstanding. Not a sushi fan? Other guests in our party loved soft shell crab tempura, Singapore Mei Fun, General Tao's jumbo shrimp and chicken teriyaki. The servers, including the bartender, are genuinely friendly and will adjust any dishes to your personal preference and taste. The restaurant was fairly crowded and now I understand the reason. This was a good find that will see me back soon.“
“Got take out for the first time and didn't have high hopes bc the menu is so big but the food came fast, was warm, packaged well and was great! The sesame noodles are a ginormous portion, the buns and chicken were great, the chicken was big white meat pieces, the mango in the mango tuna roll could have been sweeter but its not in season so makes sense.“
“The Food is impeccable, as well as the service, High quality ingredients. The owner is also the nicest person I've ever met would recommend 10/10. Every time I'm here I feel like home the servers are really nice especially Elliot, and Linda“
“I’ve been going here for over 20 years since I was a kid. It was the first time I had ever tried sushi and I haven’t found one place that beats their quality and service. It’s a hidden gem that more people need to know about. Godzilla and Kimmy are some of my favorites. Always a hard decision because everything is delicious.“
“Best Chinese food takeout in the LB-IP-Oceanside Area. Go to order: Pork soup dumplings (note: the cashier will clarify if you meant pork soup dumpling or dumpling soup. Yes, you do mean Pork Soup Dumpling), crab meat cheese wonton, pecking duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and crispy shrimp w/ honey walnut“
“Trying to kill time in the neighborhood and located this gem via Yelp - it did not disappoint - I luckily walked in during Happy Hour and got a seat at the bar - 5 minutes later the bar was packed and I see why, can we mention HH is until 7pm! The drinks amazing!! the HH food menu great choices - I had Philly roll, rock shrimp tempura, calamari all WINNERS - the service is very attentive, even tho I'm not local to the area - whenever I'm passing thru I'll be stopping in“
“Anzai is by far the best sushi restaurant! I order from them frequently and am never disappointed. The food is always fresh and so delicious, and the workers are all very nice. Every time I go to a different sushi restaurant, I always find Anzai to remain my favorite. Go to Anzai, you will not be disappointed!“
“No its not only a sushi restaurant. We didnt have a single sushi but whatever we had was sumptuous, delicious and extremely carefully made. I will run out of words. We had walnut shrimp with chicken and beef negimaki. They were soooo good.“
“A hidden gem!! This is a no frills, authentic home style korean restaurant. It only has 6 tables and filled with middle aged people who knows how good this place is. Please be gentle with the owners who are the chefs and waiter staff and work nonstop throughout the day. The kitchen is nicely organized and clean. This really is a hidden but authentic place.“
“Its a good restaurant. The foods are very delicious and tasty. The staffs are very friendly. They have very little dine in space. But they are gonna expand there business in different locations in future. If you want to taste nice bengali or asian food you can try this restaurant. I liked this restaurant very much.“
“we celebrated my family's bday 2x here already . the food was delicious the roles where food all around we recommend below is my breakdown : duck fried rice 10/10 combo beef and chicken teriyaki 9/10 beef and broccoli with brown sauce 9/10 general tso chicken 9/10 chicken with eggplant 10/10 tad bit spicy but not to much sushi: lover's roll 7/10 mexican roll 9/10 philadelphia roll for me 10/10 but my family didn't like the cream chee“
“Good place. Nice food. Chinese and Korean mix. Another location on 144-20 Northern Blvd Flushing New York, 11354 near Parson Blvd right before Great Wall Supermarket. (大中華超市) Never been here before. They speak Korean and the menu is in Chinese and Korean language. The restaurant sign is Korean, Chinese and English language. Use both entrance to get inside the restaurant if Park in the back or park on street or somewhere else.“
“Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was pleasant. Very importantly, the ambience of the place was very welcoming. This is one of three sushi places within several feet from each other and I chose AKI due to its reviews and inviting atmosphere. Decor is beautiful yet simple.“
“We came here for a very rare parents' night out. The ambiance is gorgeous. Very cool without trying too hard, just the right amount of dimness to the lighting and it was very, very clean. The food was excellent. We had a sushi roll that was super fresh and tasty, the veggie pad thai was delicious and didn't taste like noodles with peanut butter as it so often unfortunately can. The Mongolian beef skillet was a sizzling joy of beefy, veggie, saucy goodness. And the MoCatini was awesome! Can't wait to come back soon!“
“Upscale hibachi in Rockville Centre? Kashi brings a classy date night out with good, fresh food. Food - 10/10, extremely well seasoned Drinks - 10/10 Service - 8/10 Atmosphere - 9/10 upbeat and lively Parking - Parking lot behind the restaurant Vegan friendly - Yes“
“I had lunch here with some coworkers and I really enjoyed my meal. I decided to come back with my family and try their other dishes and I will say they don't disappoint. Their braised short ribs are amazing. I've been here a few times and their service is very good, the atmosphere and ambience are really nice and they have a great variety of items on their menu. They have sushi rolls that are pretty good, maybe not the best but still enjoyable. The burgers are super tasty, according to my son. They also have truffle fries that taste really good as well. I really like coming here, the prices are reasonable and there's tons of parking. Not to mention, it's in the Bay Terrace shopping center so it's a great way to end a day of shopping. I highly recommend this place.“
“Went here to start off my birthday weekend and I received the VIP treatment! The owner came out and introduced his self and mingled with my friends and I. The music was nostalgic and at a certain point a DJ came out. The server was so sweet, patient and helpful when it came to the menu selections. Will definitely come back“
“4.9/5.0Been looking for a very good Chinese takeout place near home. We finally found it. We will be regulars here.Beef with Garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef is a bit thicker cut but still tender. Flavors are spot on 5/5.General Tso Chicken - 4.9/5. It’s long strips of white meat chicken surrounded by a thick batter approximately 3-4mm thickness. It’s too thick, should be lightly coated, half meat and half batter. Outside is very crispy. The sauce is a bit sweet than I like.Thai Curry Chicken - 5/5. I usually don’t like this dish, my wife loves it. But with this dish, I couldn’t stop eating it. Flavor is 5/5, one of the best I had so far. Sauce is thicker than usual but I think it works for this dish, more flavor instead of the liquidity sauce other takeout places make it.Egg rolls. 4.0/5. Very crispy on outside. Flavor is 4.5/5. What makes this dish rated poorly is the filling, it’s mushy. Had far worse egg rolls but wish it wasn’t mushy. Flavor is certainly there. There are 3 tables for dine in, two 4 seaters, one 2 seater. If you dine in, you’ll get thick Dixie/Walmart generic quality disposable plates, not the flimsy pizza paper plates or styrofoam plates like many other places serve. Utensils also nice decent quality that you can actually use to cut meat with, not the thin plastic flimsy knives that bend.Service was top notch considering for a takeout place, guy brought out the food twice on a tray as it was ready. Other places just simply say food ready for pick up.“
“I was craving wings for the Super Bowl. So after doing a quick search we found out about Bonchon. There's another restaurant in Bayside but it said that parking was difficult. This Bonchon had a lot. When we drove in, there was a sign outside that said that they were only doing take out. Once inside they said that they only had wings and fries, which was perfect! That's all I wanted. After putting in an order of 20 wings (half spicy, half soy garlic) and an order of fries. We waited about 10 minutes after putting in our order. We polished off the fries in the car. They were better hot anyway. When we got into the house, we immediately tore into those wings. I was a little surprised at how some of them were smaller than what I was used to. They were still pretty crispy. The soy garlic wings are my favorite. It was very flavorful. The spicy wings were painfully delicious; painful because it burned my tongue and made my eyes watered. The complimentary pickled radish helped cool the fire. It was a satisfying lunch.“
“Went last night for dinner with the kids. I was unaware that it's under new management. The food was seriously delicious. The service was awesome, the hibachi chef Ken was fantastic!!! He had great energy & tons of tricks & flair!!! The kids LOVED it, and so did the grown-ups! So entertaining, great cocktails, had an excellent time. So much fun! Cannot wait to go back!“
“There's a few tables, but this is primarily a take out establishment. We've searched far and wide to find a decent Chinese restaurant and are so happy to find this one! The food is consistently good, they are very nice and aways include all the extras like duck sauce, soy and mustard while preparing your order.“
“On the hunt for a good Sichuan/Szechuan place I decided to drive out of my comfort zone and try a new spot where I normally would not go. I have to say it was worth it. When we first arrived it was earlier than my preferred dinner time and the place had only 2 tables with customers. That concerned me but that concern was quickly dispelled. The waitress/hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Large fried egg noodles and duck sauce were immediately brought to the table and our chosen drinks quickly followed. The menu has a broad range of choices so you can satisfy multiple cravings easily. The egg roll was nicely prepared and moderately above average. The crab dumplings were good but fishy on purpose I guess to reassure customers that the crab is real and not imitation. The wontons in spicy chili oil were delicious and reminiscent of one of my go to spots in Flushing. The house special fried rice was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. The garlic chicken was abundant for two and delicious. Altogether this place is worth checking out and I will return.“
