Went with my wife and some friends( a party of 5) and each one really enjoyed their meal. My wife had the wild caught Salmon, I had the grilled chicken BLT, our friends had the Lemon chicken, pear salad with chicken and my buddy had the stuffed filet of sole... the sides ranged from delicious homemade mashed potatoes, to fresh broccoli and carrots to nice crispy fries. All came out with beautiful presentation...Hopefully the place will catch on and do well since the name change... Whoever tries it will be back. I'll be back!!“
“This was the first time I had been to Rippers in eight years and it is still as good as it was in 2015. The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“

We ordered from the Lenten menu the shrimp pappardelle and the scallop risotto. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. Service was on point, friendly and professional. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. I took the advice of comments on their Instagram page and their recommendations and ordered the risotto balls, clams, tuna tartar and beef dumplings for appetizers. Entrées were the strip steak, ahi tuna and short ribs. I have to tell you, their food is really, really good! My son got their tartufo for dessert and I had the tres leche. Hubby had a cappuccino. “We three ate here today. Tony, visiting from Ireland, and I each had the 1/2 rack of ribs which we both agreed was excellant, fall off the bone good. I had as my 2 sides collard greens and corn. Both sides were very good, seemed to have a slight pickled flavor and went down easily. She had the pulled pork sandwich, which she found excellent to include the thin bread, and she had to have the bread pudding for dessert, which was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, so we had to help her finish it as it was too big for one person! Definitely the best rib place for both ribs and sides, we look forward to returning. The interior may seem a bit small but in the good sunny sumertime they have outdoor seating for well over a hundred diners. There's plenty of free parking, it's all located in the area behind Fairchild's Funeral parlor. The service is friendly and timely. “I apologize for not writing this review earlier, but I did have the complete honor and privilege to Dine here this past Sunday, March 3, 2024. From start to finish it was perfect. I am in the Restaurant business and have been for the past 35 years. To be quite honest it is really hard for any establishment to float my boat, especially in this day and age. As Server Jamal was phenomenal, very professional, and understanding. I arrived with a Guest a bit late for a Sunday evening and still was treated like royalty. The Chef even came out to adhere to some requests which I found simply unparalleled. From start to finish it was an epic journey of culinary perfection and straight-out perfect Hospitality. It was a seamless and stress free planning process, which made planning a surprise party so much easier. “The new ownership is just what this Mineola institution needed to refresh its brand. The staff is friendly/laissez-faire in that typical "Long Island" way (if you live here, you get it). The bar side can be a bit cramped on busy nights but the restaurant side is very spacious. The copious number of TVs make it ideal for Sunday football and they do occasionally rent the space for private events. The menu has been updated and upgraded but still retains that bar food charm. The wings are of the well-done variety, if you like that and are plenty spicy (although, your taste may vary). I enjoyed the addition of hot pepper flakes on their hottest wings. The baked clams, giant pretzel and quesadillas are perfect apps while the full menu is surprisingly extensive with meatloaf, pot and Sheppard's pie, and a triple meat blend burger that knocks it out of the park. Prior to my last visit, it had been years since visiting Cornerstone and I'm glad I found my way back to this solid neighborhood pub.“

Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars.The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“

The place was packed on a Thursday. The food is top notch. I had the baked clams and wife had the deviled eggs. Both were great. I ordered the fish and chips for my main and it was insane. The platter comes out stacked high with plenty of chips and the fish had a crunch that will literally drown out all the noise around you. I haven't had fish and chips like this. They served it up with tartar sauce, ketchup and malt vinegar for the fries and a charred lemon. My wife had the blackened Mahi fish tacos. Came with a bowl of rice that was tasty.“

My son could not stop eating it.When they say they are famous for the rigatoni I agree with them 110%, the creamy sauce in the rigatoni makes hell of a difference very hard to describe. It’s a little bit salty little bit Tangy, and very creamy.The four cheese ravioli was cooked amazing, the serving was delightful, looked nice. my daughters could not stop eating it. It was very delicious.Dessert sampler is the bonus in the family style financially speaking. They give you five desserts on a board, the sizes are decent certainly more than just a flavor of those desserts. it is quite a good mix. Love the crème brûlée in there. I like it because the sugar balance in it is just not too much not too low.For the amount of food you get it’s more than worth it . Some might call it expensive at $40.99 per adult but for the amount of food they give you it is more than worth it, not only you can get as many refills as you want as you keep on finishing food and whatever you don’t finish you can take it home. From what I recall, pre-Covid Singh's was a lively restaurant where soca played through the speakers, a variety of Islanders would be liming and enjoying the vibes, and there was trini food and snacks galore. From Trini Chinese fried chicken, to doubles, to pone, chubby, shandy, and everything else that you'd want to enjoy. Since my first visit, I've remained loyal to Singh's.My last visit this past weekend, I didn't have the time to get over to their location, so instead I ordered on UberEats, grimacing at the $6.99 delivery fee. I placed my order at 6:30 a.m., since they open at 6 a.m. and received my order within an hour, delivered by a very polite young man. The food was packed very well - there was no spillage which I was expecting from the curry.I ordered pholourie (which came with TWO tasty tamarind sauces), 2 doubles, and one boneless chicken dhal puri roti. Everything tasted just like I remembered it to be. I packed some to take back with me to COS to extend the pleasure of the meal. “Ordered from this place for the 1st time and eventhough i only live about 10 minutes away it took the uber driver 23 minutes to get the order to me..... even with that being said, the food came hot and it was delicious. The only thing i wish is that they would supply the utensils needed to crack open the crabs but if you have some industrial scissors and a good hammer and forks you can make it work. I would absolutely recommend this place even for ordering if you live near by it is worth it. next time i want a seafood boil i will go to this location in person to be able to experience the restaurant itself, the staff, and the service.“
