“My daughter stayed in Fredonia after going to college there, and as a downstate NY person I have never been to a place as welcoming as Downtown Brew. Janet is very knowledgeable on the beer front, and despite my infrequent trips up knows what is in my wheelhouse when I come up to visit my daughter. Highly recommend.”

“We have been shopping at Tuscany since they opened for their meats. We have purchased numerous steaks, roasts, ground beef, chicken and so much more. For Christmas, we purchased a 11 lb. Boneless Prime Rib and were so excited to have for our family holiday dinner. Regretfully, this particular cut of prime rib was very tough and chewy. I spoke to Kevin and let him know about our experience. He was apologetic and made it right. I understand things like this can happen and we will continue to shop there. It is nice to have a local store that is clean and stocked with fresh meats and produce. Thank you.”

“This place has absolutely delicious food! We ordered two hibachi meals (filet mignon & chicken and one of filet mignon & scallops) and an orange skin app to go. I also ordered a Bloody Mary to sip on while we were waiting for the food. The staff was friendly, the place very clean & welcoming, and the food/drink was phenomenal!! Hidden Jewel here!!”

“So I had a bus load of people and we stopped at this winery yesterday when I tell you, Justin and his team were wonderful!! we started off our day a little Rocky with our bus being very late and it was just a trickle down effect the winery before this Was so nasty?& very rude to us when we got to Woodbury we were kind of scared to even go in. Justin literally came out to the bus and said we did not have to come in as small groups that we were all welcome. They treated us so good. This is how a business should run , they also had A back area that had a few cornhole boards set up so we took the time out to enjoy a few minutes of that while we were there ,I would recommend if you are out on a wine tour to try some of their yummy wines, especially the peanut butter came with two bottles and I think I already have two bottles here, thumbs up to them.”

“Love the treats and restaurant! Today I was super excited to come in for the first time in years since I moved away but quickly realized I miss the old upper crust with the display case full of goodies and the restaurant had more personality vs now. Came in to buy a bunch of bakery treats to take home for new people to try and there were maybe 2 options for cookies and 2 options for pastries, which was super disappointing. Left empty handed.”

“Quaint, comfortable Fredonia Campus Starbucks. Makes one feel like their back in college. Love their Carmel Macchiato and have even ventured into iced coffee drinks which I never thought I'd do. All delicious and several culinary options too. Cool place to hang, read and sip.”

“I go through the drive through every morning. I order the same thing every morning. This morning I ordered 2 pumpkin spice muffins as usual and I got hot chocolate muffins instead. The service is always good, the staff is always friendly. I am always happy with the food too, except this morning”

“Absolutely love their Thai Ice Cream 🤤 The banana Nutella is my personal favorite. Love the deep fried crab rolls and the pineapple 🍍 fried rice! It’s served in half of a fresh pineapple, hands down the best!”

“Long drive-thru wait, but always freshly made, especially the potato cakes! It seems I never get the correct packets tho, which is odd. Perhaps, they cannot hear with their headphones on. Wish they would give the drink tho while you wait on the food, it would make the long wait better, especially if you are asked to move up!

Parking: The parking is on the right side only a you drive in, but if cars are asked to move out of drive thru two wait on order, it becomes tight.”

“Today my boyfriend and I wanted to try something new. So we did!! I will say it was amazing. The food was great and you get so much for the price. We are in love and will be back for sure. Already told all my friends and now planning a group outting to have dinner here. Can't say enough positive things.”

“Best pizza ever. Everytime I'm in town I order and usually take one back home with me to Central N.Y. If you've had a bad experience, remember everyone makes mistakes or could have a bad day. Be glad you can at least get a good pizza there, it all sucks out here. Thank You Mary's in Fredonia, I always look forward to coming there when I'm in town.”

“We stopped in to check out Ellicottville Brewing (Aka EBC West) in Fredionia. It's the 2nd oldest of the locations and is independently owned by the same owner as Ration Ales in Williamsville.

We only stopped in for drinks and always recommend their Blueberry Wheat, which has real blueberries rising and falling in your cold glass of deliciousness. The group tried others as well, and they did allow for some samples to find the brew that fits you best. They have a full bar.

The building itself is older, long and narrow, with multiple floors and a seasonal patio. The staff was great. The manager stopped over and gave us some history of the location and suggested trying the Ellicottville Brewing Bourbon (by Hartman's Distilling) which was surprisingly good.

A cool stop to check out. If we are in the area again, we will be back!”

“It's Denny's.... we all kind of know what to expect. For a Denny's, food was great (I got the steak omelette) and service was quick for a Saturday morning.”
