“This place has been around for a long while, but I only came here for the first time this past summer, and now, whenever I find myself in the area, I try to come by here for a nice fresh sandwich for lunch. I'll usually get their fresh mozzarella hero, and I'll add tomatoes and peppers as well. They have hot tray daily specials, as well as other specialty Italian ingredients. I love that they're Mets fans and I want to try to support these guys as it's rare to see businesses last for decades now.“

“As a Haitian, I'm very critical of other Haitian restaurants. This was my first time trying Blueline and it did amaze me. The griot (fried pork) in the sand which was so well seasoned and well cooked. It was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside, everything you could ask for with griot. It included a secret sauce that was INCREDIBLE. The place was a cute takeaway spot with a few seats. I began to chat with the woman at the front and asked her who's recipe was the secret sauce. It was hers! She was so nice and had a wonderful energy. Definitely coming back here soon, will become a Brooklyn staple for me. (To the owner: don't give that secret sauce recipe away!)“

Today I tried something from their bubble tea menu (?!), black unsweetened tea with mango and kiwi popping bubbles, and really enjoyed it. So it's fair to say that I've been here like 3 times in the past month and a half after finding this spot ? but it's bc in all honesty these are some of the best tacos in the area (Elmont/valley stream) and especially the best carnitas (pork) tacos in the area. Very authentic and the portions are crazy, I can throw down but I'm good with 4-5 tacos. He gave us an estimate on how much food we needed to feed the entire party, and he was spot on with how much we needed. The party turned out to be a big success, there was more than enough food for everyone. I was constantly being asked where the food was from as it was the best they have ever at a catered party. All their food was amazing but the standout was their penne with vodka sauce, is probably the best I’ve ever had, it’s amazing. We also ordered had some Spanish style Pernil which is super tender and a surprising real hit, yellow rice, the classics chicken parm, eggplant parm, ziti, Jack Daniel’s Pepper Steak(amazing!), a couple of chicken cutlet hero’s and much more. And I asked for a tarama -my starting point for any Greek meal and lemon potatoes, another favorite of mine. The veal was tender and delicious and tarama along with warm bread was very tasty. Gregory's Corner is perhaps one the best small taverna in Astoria. What they lack in choices on the menu, they make up in service. The waitress who took our order was really on point and gave us solid recommendations. Gregory's is a nice cozy spot with a truly Mediterranean feel. The tables are well-spaced, and the decor is bright and breezy. Outside the restaurant is a little hard to make out up the street and is covered with too much foliage. The entrance is not clearly marked. Inside you can hear the waitress and owner arguing and speaking in Greek. It got a little intence at times, but was fun“

“I have to give this breakfast a 5-star review. I was golfing at Harbor Links and decided to go to the diner, but it was closed at 6:00 am. This deli was a few store fronts away. I had the best Spanish/Western breakfast omelet I have eaten in a very long time. First of all, the omelet was not greasy, the vegetables were fresh, and it was a 3-egg omelet. The side of potatoes were boiled to perfection, lightly seasoned and pan fried. If you live in Port Washington this is the place to go for a terrific egg breakfast plus the coffee was fabulous!!!
