“Navigating through the culinary journey at Flowers & Flour, I've found an enchanting blend of whimsical and traditional bakery experiences, albeit peppered with a touch of unpredictability regarding item availability. On a vibrant Saturday at 3pm, the bakery, although thoroughly sold out of their delectable goods, persisted in remaining open, exclusively offering drinks. A second venture on a more tranquil Monday afternoon revealed a more generous offering of their array of baked items and a singular tuna sandwich amidst assorted gimbaps in various flavors - burdock, tuna, spam, ham, and ham and cheese. The baked delights, from a buttery and moist strawberry jam scone to an indulgent spam gimbap, filled with danmuji, eggs, carrot, and artificial crab meat, proved to be a delightful indulgence. While mayo's presence was mentioned in other reviews, it was the sesame oil that notably graced my palate. The basque cheesecake, however, stole the culinary show with its soft, perfectly sweetened profile, and a delectably burnt exterior that cleverly sidestepped any overly charred flavor. Amidst the delightful savors, the seating area emerged as a vibrant haven, where older Korean adults gathered for warm, lively chats, weaving a tapestry of community and conviviality. The allure of their cake has solidified my resolve to secure a reservation to explore these tantalizing treats in the future. A noteworthy addition to my experiences was the prompt and helpful service. Encountering items labeled in Korean or presented in acronyms posed a minor hurdle, which was gracefully alleviated by the amiable staff, who kindly offered translations and explanations, enhancing the inclusive and welcoming ambiance. While the somewhat capricious availability of certain items does invite a need for flexibility in your visit, the splendidly executed confections, coupled with the heartening atmosphere and commendable service, render Flowers & Flour a destination worthy of repeat visits.“

The website should consider updating given there isn’t any place to sit and think.I ended up paying about $15 for the Cubano and it was okay. It wasn’t anything special. “Pretty good sandwiches but a little pricey for what you get.I’m editing this review after going there several more times. The food is great. The sandwiches are tasty. I’ve made my own and had the brisket sandwich. Both are really good. The brisket sandwich is actually pretty incredible especially if you get the tomato soup and dip it. Soup is really good. They have the best tater tots I’ve ever had. I don’t know what brand they use or if they make their own but they are super crispy and the mince on the potato is so fine that they melt in mouth. Salad is also really good. As far as the price it’s pretty average at this point. (I guess I’m getting used to food inflation). I like that you can add extra sides to your meal for only $3 a piece. That’s a steal. The sandwiches already come with a side. I’m going to go back to try their entrees. The pasta looks really good.“

“Day of visit 1/15/2024 In the words of my very wise 7yr old "best day ever!" We really had such a great experience that day. And I certainly have the employees at Kraveit to thank for it. We got there just as they had opened, and only two pizzas were out. Seriously, we were there for a late breakfast haha. We were hungry and it was clear lol. My daughter wanted the Mac and cheese slice and ofcourse that wasn't out. When I asked how long it would take for them to make the pizzas, also, if they were going to make a Mac and cheese pie soon? Paul (the awesome Pizza maker) said which ones do you want? I'll make em now. WHAT!!! He knew we'd get a slice or two, but offered to make whichever ones we wanted next. We ordered the Mac-tastic, sweet devil, and, fuego chicken. My daughter described the Mac and cheese slice perfectly. She said "this is blowing my mind with goodness lol". It's really a gem of a slice. The chicken fuego was my personal favorite. Perfectly balanced and delicious. The sweet devil wasn't my favorite, but I see the appeal. Their garlic knots were perfect. And dont forget the krave-it soda! It's addictingly delicious. I also reccomend the fried oreoz for dessert. Now while we were waiting for the pizzas to be done, we got our own pizza making class. My daughter was elated, and the bursts of laughter and happiness wouldn't stop. Diana showed her how she put the sauces on, and answered all her questions. Paul explained the toppings on the slices, twirled the dough for her, and showed her how he sliced them. She must have said "best day ever" over 20 times. She was so happy she forgot the was hungry lol. I know how busy this place can be, and how they crank out the pizzas, so to take the time to answer a curious child's questions really speaks of Paul and Diana's character. I've been coming to Krave-it since my college days (when it opened). And I'm happy to say, that they've officially sealed themselves in the hearts of a 2nd generation. My kids will be here and in the words of my 7yr old "I will bring my kids here one day". Thank you Paul, Diana, and Krave-it for serving great food, and creating such an inclusive environment for families.“

“What make this Subway memorable is that it was the Sunday, I had taken the proof of negative Covid Test for travel abroad at the CVS adjacent to this Subway, whose address on the receipt is 251-05 Jericho Turnpike, Bellrose, NY 11426. I was waiting for the results in two to three days while I killed time visiting a sister in Westbury. I had been advised of the date to visit by #2, on a Sunday that would have me arriving around 2:00 PM. Instead the boiler man was supposed to be in the driveway. I haven't even seen a boiler repair person own such a vehicle. I guess I must have been mistaken by the address since I hadn't been at this location for ages. This was so long ago, that I saw an abandoned home that might have been from one of my co-workers at Pan American World Airways, a nice Haitian man, a block away as you enter this poet's name from the Main Road that now dips under the LIRR tracks. Progress is incredible. 12" Grilled Chicken Sub $10.69 -2 Smashed Avocado Portions $2.00 My own drink since I had just had purchased it for the continuation of the road trip from Florida to New Hampshire. Total after all those taxes $13.82 Great sandwich and even better couple working that day! Host order ID: 6349284380341873 on August 8, 2021. I have arrived back in Florida a few days ago and now I'm reviewing all my purchases. I would recommend this Subway to anyone who has time to rest or not. The service is excellent and the sandwich I chose is still the best I've ever eaten at any Subway in the United States of America.“

“I had Charlie’s before out of state so I was skeptical to try the Brooklyn location but I was impressed . I ordered a small thinking it was gonna be mid but this cheesesteak made my day from the first bite . I wish it was more saucy but it still was so good . I felt like I was missing ketchup but I still finshed the whole thing without it. Idk if it’s cuz I was hungry or what but I regret not getting the bigger size ? it’s good tho.“

“After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I had to verbally make my presence known although one of the employees just kept packing orders WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING ME! It seems like your only concern is with your online orders. I've been a customer since the 90's when you were located on Halsey St. “
