“Great place to grab a filling, delicious meal at a reasonable cost. Service was quick and friendly. Packed out the bowl with so much food (and flavor) it was enough for two meals! My son loved the empanadas, and so did I, which is wonderful since he is such a picky eater lately. We ordered the food to go, but there are some seats by the windows, and had we had more time, most likely we would've stayed to enjoy our meal. The Tres Leches Cake for dessert was truly a treat! I saw that they do catering too, as many people picking were coming in to pick-up large orders- it's definitely something I'll keep in mind for my next event. Can't wait for the next time we are in the area, I will be back for sure!“

“We were looking for the original merengue restaurant knew what corner is on but we couldn't find it and we thought we were out of our minds for 2 minutes but we realized that it's now called Island Oasis the name changed and then food is the same the owners are the same and they said the name will be changed back as far as I know the drinks and food or five star me and my wife have a great time have a great atmosphere people and owner were very nice and polite and very interesting talking to them prices I bought two pieces of chocolate cake which were other than that everything“
“Great casual food, including pernil (slow-roasted pork) available daily, along with great hot buffet choices, hearty sandwiches and fresh salads. The jalapeño salad goes great with the pernil or on a sandwich, and the avocado salad is fantastic.“
