“Great job catering a lunch for 40 people. Wonderful variety of dishes! More than enough food for everyone and so many compliments! I often come here for their excellent breakfast sandwiches, but this was the first time ordering something like this. I was very pleased.“
“I like places that are fully confident about what they are and do their thing with pride. Tried this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the kind service, the excellent and fresh cooking, the authentic Salvadoran menu, the very reasonable prices, and the clean and comfortable space. I haven't tried enough of the menu of course. But what I had was a simple and perfectly executed Central American breakfast, and it was excellent. Very friendly vibe, Spanish news on TV, and it's been there 21 years so they obviously have their act together“
“Best chicken cutlet in the area. Left a note for an order specification that they were not seeing (that I was not aware about). I left a lower than usual review because it was happening more than once as I am a regular customer. Immediately they were on it. The next time I placed an order I received a phone call from the owner herself to make sure they knew what went wrong and how they could fix it. This business truly values their customers and really go the extra mile. Great food and great people make for a great experience! Highly recommend to all in the bayside area!“
“The food was excellent, and everything was tasty. Our favorite was definitely the Seafood Soup and the Yucca & Chicharrone. The portion size was huge. The waitresses were all very friendly and worked hard. We took the pictures after we started eating the main dish, so please excuse the pictures.“
“Amazing authentic Mexican/ Salvadoran cuisine. Three of us tried: 1) torta milanesa - chicken was tender and the bread was soft, very filling, we brought half home, 2) seafood soup- so much seafood (crab, fish, shrimp, mussels, squid, clam) and huge- very big, good to share among 3 people if you're sampling lots of dishes, 3) birria tacos which were flavorful and fresh (didn't come with consommé), 4) al pastor tacos, touch of sweetness, 5) pork, cheese, beans papusa (very filling, we shared 1, 6) guacamole which was presented in a traditional bowl and wasn't too spicy and 7) a elote tamale but haven't tried it yet bc we were so full so we packed it to-go. Service was good and the place had fun music videos playing. We would gladly come back. Everything was fresh, tasty and affordable.“
“Everything was really good, from the food to the people. Really nice service, really polite and patience (i had dificulties to pay, since i didnt have cash) btw this is an ONLY CASH stablishment. But I gave 4 cuz of personal preference. The rice can be changed to a normal white rice. That rice is kind of not that tasty and it is damn pricy.Parking: Not that many spots. I got lucky I got one right in front of it. But it has a 30 min parking spots.“
“After seeing some of the ratings I was nervous after accidentally ordering here. However, God works in mysterious ways because I just ate the best quesadillas I've ever had. Chicken was delicious, filing, and fresh. The inside may seem slow but the kitchen is 10/10. Welcome to your new lunch break stop! Please give it a try“
“Excellent food, great service. This has to be the best, most authentic Salvadoran cuisine I have eaten here in the states. We will forever eat here when we are in Long Island/NYC area. Worth the trip every time! Their food is consistently delicious, and the flavor is the same each and every time.Parking: There is street parking and I did notice a parking garage behind the restaurant. But we always park on the street.“
