“(Edited my og review because it was poorly written and rushed.)So there I was, on a spontaneous adventure, when suddenly, BAM! Google throws me a curveball - "Nutella Empanada." You bet I was intrigued. It was like the universe daring me, "Bet, let's go."Stumble into this place, and it's like I've walked into the heart of the local scene. This guy, just oozing neighborhood vibes, hits me with, "You're not from around here, huh? Welcome to the best Italian spot in town." And he didn't stop there - gave me the lowdown on all the hidden gems nearby. This dude was living and breathing local charm, and I was here for it. The lobby? Packed with the coolest cats you could meet.Turns out, snagging a table at this joint is usually like finding a unicorn - pretty darn rare. But guess what? They worked some magic and got us in... into an outdoor igloo, no less! Yeah, you read that right. An igloo! (Peep the pics for proof - it's as rad as it sounds.)Now, let's talk food. Holy smokes, it's delish. The staff? Angels in disguise, I swear. Super friendly, on-point, and ready to make your experience top-notch.Oh, and if you see anything with Vodka sauce on the menu, just do yourself a favor and order it. It's a solid 10/10. Trust. All in all, this spot isn't just a restaurant; it's a local legend. Do yourself a favor and drop by. You won't regret it.“
“We hosted our daughter's first birthday here with 40 people on a Sunday afternoon. Working with Ervis and Gabriella was fantastic -- great communication and very flexible. The event turned out better than we could have expected. The food is AMAZING. Everybody is still raving about it and a few of our family members have already been back! Would definitely recommend hosting a small event here!“
“I took a chance because it had a high rating and good reviews. I was not disappointed. Chicken alla vodka pizza was great. Chicken chunks are really big. I placed my order in the morning, and it was ready for pick-up. Great, friendly service. I will definitely return.“
“Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“
“Hidden gem ?Traditional Italian restaurant, loved the authentic experience here.?The atmosphere definitely reminded me of being in Italy, especially the owner who made everything from scratch. It was an amazing experience.?make your way here if you truly want an Italian experience, with no rush, sitting, and socializing... and the food will come when it comes.?the service was on the slow side because it was a full house, so it was understandable.?My favorite was the Buffalo, basil, cherry pizza. It was delicious.?the nutella pizza with strawberries was perfect for dessert & sharing.Vegetarian options: Options available.Dietary restrictions: Options availableParking: Metered parking until 7pmKid-friendliness: High chairs available. Kids menu available. Crayons and paper for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Indoor and outside seating available.“
“I love this place. Their red pepper-oni is amazing. It's slightly spicy and Mike's honey oil drizzled on it was an explosion on my tongue! They even have desserts. I hear the Nutella donut is the best but they were out. They sampled a brisket sanwhich they will offer next week. It was delicious. I might have to fly back!“
“Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

“Delightful Italian experience! We started with sautéd calamari and the Ceaser perfect for the both of us. The penne a la vodka was aldente and creamy, and the halibut was perfectly cooked amazing with the potato and escarole combo. Exceptional flavors, friendly service a must try! True hidden “
“Really good pizza ! ordered the upside down Sicilian and it was perfect. ordered it well done. The bottom was crispy and the dough was perfect ! Really good pizza sauce ! Also had a plain slice and it was very good! Fried calamari were Very good !“
“Wow, what an incredible experience! This restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The drinks were superb, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly personable. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Every dish was a delight, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The drinks were crafted with care and creativity, leaving us wanting more. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. I can't recommend this place enough! If youre looking for a cozy dinner this restaurant is a must-visit. 5 stars all the way! The owner Sal along with all his wait staff , especially Stephanie was super personable.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Villa Milano, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel like family. The crew at Villa Milano is truly exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The pizza at Villa Milano is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings atop a delectably crispy crust. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations or craving something a bit more adventurous, Villa Milano has something for everyone. Trust me when I say, you won't be able to resist going back for seconds (and thirds)! But what truly sets Villa Milano apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made and friendships are forged over mouthwatering slices of pizza. Whether you're dining in with friends or grabbing a takeaway, you'll always leave Villa Milano with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious pizza served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Villa Milano. It's a true gem in the world of pizza restaurants, and I can't wait to go back for another slice of perfection.“
“North shores local staple. It's my go to, hands down. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Weather your in pt.wash., Rosslyn or Glenn head. 100% fresh every time. A true family establishment. Never disappointed.Parking: There's always a spotWheelchair accessibility: 4 wheels or two legs, your always welcome.“
“We recently moved to Sea Cliff from NYC and were so pleasantly surprised to have such a beautiful delicious restaurant down the block from our house. Loretta was our server and was so welcoming. The cocktails were phenomenal and the flavors of every dish were absolutely fabulous.“
“Great family feeling. Delicious food...owner???.Had my birthday dinner tonight....can't wait to go back!!!!Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old granddaughter Abigail loves it there. She can practice the two words she knows in Italian... Ciao Bella and loves the food“
“I've been coming here wooo for a good amount of years, I am from Queens and when I want authentic Italian food I come here why multiple reasons one of them it's their food. I am always trying something new and they never seem to disappoint me! It's crazy I live in Queens and come this far to have a slice, lasagna or anything different today I went in and had a Philly cheese steak, it was delicious but not like the Philly cheese steak sandwiches from Philly lol. But over all I'll have it again it was delicious hands down.If you're in town, check them out right off the the LIR North Station Plaza in Great Neck. It's better than Gino's thats for sure!!!Kid-friendliness: It's very family oriented“
“My favorite pizzeria. The best one I’ve ever had in all of NYC and Long Island in terms of service and quality. And that’s coming from a carbophile that lives in the city and grew up in Long Island, so it’s fair to say this opinion comes from quite a large sample “
“This long time favorite continues on with great service and delicious food. Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. One tip try the Lasagna and you will be hooked for life. Large menu and it is all delicious.“
“First, let me start by saying I don't believe in bad reviews, they can hurt a person's business and I think people should judge for themselves. Having said that, I do, however, believe in good reviews so here goes. I feel like this restaurant is one of the best pizzeria/Italian restaurants that I've ever been to. Aside from the courteous staff and the excellent service, the food is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything that you order. We've been here quite a few times and never had a bad experience. We ordered different things every time and the food seems to be getting better and better. Just an excellent experience overall. Besides all that, the place is very inviting and very clean. Shout out to the staff and owner for making us feel like it was worth it to come all the way from Queens on a Friday night during lent. One of our favorite places by far. I wish I could give it more than just five stars.“
“As soon as you walk in the aroma is straight Italiano had me feeling like Julius Cesar ready to devour everything in sight because the smell was so amazing. Literally anything you want or are curious to try on the menu is gonna taste delicious will definitely be back asap!“
“Food truck with a great pizza and outdoor seating. Pizza is really really good, reminds me of the trendy sourdough places in the city. Only thing to potentially criticize is the bottom is a bit on the burnt side, but I'd say that's part of this style of Pizza.“
“Roman style pizza sounded interesting, so we stopped in and tried some. Very glad we did because it was amazing. We ended up with 4 slices. 2 Roman style, 2 traditional. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy. Maybe next time I'll get the truffel slice.Parking: Parking in the area.“
“Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“
“This was my first time at this pizza shop. I was in the neighborhood and wanted something to eat. I was heading to one pizza shop on the main road & I happened to see this one in the cut. Something told me to go there instead & I'm happy that I did. Very welcoming as I walked in through the door. I would definitely revisit when I'm in the neighborhood again.“
“Clean location, great pizza options, friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the following slices! Brown Stew oxtail Turkey bacon Chicken black truffle Alfredo Curry oxtail Curry chicken Sweet chili oxtail Jerk chicken You can definetly tell that the toppings are seasoned to perfection!“
“Great place. I stopped in for lunch. The lunch specials spiked my interest. I ordered a wrap and whike I was waiting I had the best eggplant slice I have had in Westchester County. And the owner was extremely friendly I will definitely come back. Great atmosphere and great prices.“
“Delicious! Love the checked tablecloths, and old school decor. Greek salad is amazing, and the thin crust is spot on! Their baked pasta dishes are like grandmas! They come out piping hot with perfectly melty cheese! You won't be disappointed. The only thing I will say is don't get chicken on your pizza, it tends to be dry...happens. It's delish on the salad though.“
“Food was amazing as always. Started with the Burrata and the shrimp/calamari. Split the bucatini and veal stuffed angelotti. Deconstructed cannoli is fabulous. The only negative is we were not aware about the 1.5 hr table limit which was strictly enforced. Will definitely be back but will take a later reservation the next time.“
“Took my Massachusetts family there last night and they loved it! Great job owners and managers training such a friendly, professional staff. One of the best I've ever seen. Food was outstanding, and the kids loved the garlic knots. Arguably the best pizza place I've ever visited, and I worked at two different ones as a kid.“
“Pizzeria G is a local gem that knows how to serve up some seriously delicious pies. The Portnoy slice is a must-try—it's loaded with freshly grated mozzarella cheese and Sicilian olive oil, all on a perfectly crispy crust. And if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, their Buffalo Chicken slice is a flavor explosion, with tender chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, and cool ranch drizzle.Every pie is made with care and attention to detail. The dough is always fresh and hand-tossed, and the toppings are very high quality. Plus, the atmosphere at Pizzeria G is laid-back and inviting, making it the perfect spot to grab a slice with friends or enjoy a quick lunch during the weekday. The friendly staff and owners always help to meet your needs and show you their favorite slices if you have a hard time choosing from all their options. You simply can't go wrong with a visit to Pizzeria G!“
“The place is amazing. The best part about it is the fact that a full animatronic 1-stage is there and it’s the best one of its kind. The 2.0 remodels are absolutely horrendous. Replacing the beautiful stage with 5% of it (Video wall) and that dance floor is the least the community wants. I suggest this store should keep the stage as its condition is the full opposite of beyond repair. The store is nice itself but the Animatronics make it a fan favorite. (Photos shown are outdated)“
“Our goto place when we’re hungry and nothing comes to mind. Where the food is excellent, and there are plenty of delicious choices of pizza and pasta’s, the prices are good, but the employees are all friendly and go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is top shelf. Thanks to allParking: Plenty of parking either in the front or back“
“Great halal pizza place in queens village. The inside always seems empty which made me hesitant to try it. However, the desi infused flavors found on a thin crust here are great change from the usual pizza chains.I always get the spice supreme and a pie with chicken cutlet & jalapeños. The only menu item I didn't like were the wings, which were greasy & over-salted. Cashiers are always friendly and take their time.“
“Nice Italian neighborhood restaurant with a family dining appeal. Large dining area with wait service. Menu had plenty of options - but we were focused on the pizzas. Table bread and butter worked up an appetite, but lacked the fresh baked aroma. Calamari and chicken Francese pizzas were pretty awesome and very different. A little tough to eat the slices with the heavy and saucy toppings, but a fork and knife worked like a charm. Happy to return for another round.“
“I recommended Champion Pizza by a friend, so I took a chance and gave them a try.I was greeted by Santos, who was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding an allergy we have in the family. He was kind enough to call back to verify and confirm the sauce and it's contents. We ordered a regular cheese pie and the truffle mushroom pie - which was absolutely delicious!!! The crust is super thin and well made our family has found a new spot to order pizza! Looking forward to trying their other specialty pies.“
“I never had a bad meal. Everything I have ever ordered here was phenomenal. Great service as well as up beat waiter, that added to the night. We celebrated my father in laws birthday this past Saturday for my latest visit. we ordered the Oysters (all ways), calamari, clams, Halibut, branzino, pescatore, flounder francese, lamb chops, steak, cannelloni, and even some Alfredo for one of the kids, not one peep was heard at the table when they got started. Rave reviews from the whole family everyone.. and for that to happen in family is very rare. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A GREAT DAY !“
“Where is the Best Pizza in the world? It's in Syosset NY. Owner Luca brings his passion for Great Pizza and more directly from Italy. They are right across the street from 7-11 on Berry Hill Rd. Eat in or takeout you wont be disappointed!“
“The front of house is very nice. When we walked up she was very helpful and we got a nice booth inside. The food was really good and fresh. They use organic ingredients and have some pizzas that are truly unique and delicious. The wings were great too, and one of the best gluten free crusts ever!“
“If you dont come here, you are missing out! The owners treat you like family. Customers are priority to them. Their food is amazing from pizza to salads to sushi to falafel! I have tried it all by now. Everything is fresh and you can just have everything on the menu because its THAT GOOD! Best pizza around!!! They do not miss a beat. Truly passionate people!! Highly recommend!!!!“
“We called on short notice and Greg was able to put together a delicious assortment for a lunch catering. The food was fresh and the Penne ala Vodka sauce is incredible! We will continue to use Garden City Pizza and Catering for our lunch needs.Appreciate the prompt service! The staff really enjoyed it!Thank you!“
“So happy we stumbled across this place. Our new go to for sandwiches. We get chicken cutlet, fresh mozz, pickles, hot sauce and pickles on a hero. Generous size sandwich for $10. Love it! Good chicken salad too. I always see people in there getting pizza pies so I'm curious how those are. Family owned. Good greek cookies too. Doesn't look like much from the outside but definitely worth a try!“
“Wow! I recently moved to this area from the city, and was feeling lukewarm about the food options in this neighborhood. I can confidently say Toskana will be my go-to casual Italian takeout spot from now on...I'm still eating as I write this, but so thoroughly impressed I had to post a review immediately. Menu is fairly simple and classic for this type of establishment, but everything was executed perfectly. The chicken francese hero was buttery and bright, the rigatoni alls vodka was flavorful and decadent with pasta perfectly al dente even after sitting in takeout container, and broccoli rabe is garlicky and the perfect side. They also threw in a free (and generous!) side of garlic knots, which are also delicious in their own right. Everything arrived promptly, piping hot, and very fresh. I rarely order take out and needed some comfort food tonight after a rough day, and really hit the spot. Thank you!“
“The pizza here is amazing and so are the wings. Great quality and taste, fresh meats and veggies. But I just cannot get over the pricing…like come on bro, $36 for a pie is insanity even considering the premium halal meats…most popular top rated pizza restaurants have pies with toppings priced well under $30. One time I ordered two pies and some wings and the order came out to over $120+ with tax…they gotta reduce their pricing. Also, the place is small, not much indoor dining space and the food takes a long time to come out so order ahead. Food is worth the wait but idk about the money“
“Wish the name wasn't so easy to confuse with other restaurants now that it's changed owners, but it's still awesome and delicious! I really appreciate there being several vegan options for me and my family to enjoy. A former New Yorker, I brought a whole vegan pie back to Ohio for my fam and they were blown away by how good it was. "This is New York pizza!" Now they know what all the hubbub is about. Hope I'll be back soon! Unless you guys can USPS one over here? Haha!“
“The food and service was excellent. The noise level though was beyond bearable. The music was so loud our party of 8 had to scream to each other to talk. It was not pleasant. Just turn it down a bit or don’t start the music until 9. While I would go back I’m hesitant to go for dinner.“
“Da Angelo strives to be that neighborhood place which is cozy, staff like family and food which is close to home made . If you love it spicy, ask Sergio to make that special hot sauce ( garlic- olive oil- crushed red peppers) and it will surely fire up your taste buds. The quality of food is much better than some high end Italian restaurants in our area.“
“Amazing pizza made with soul!!!!! Always kind service and nice meal specials important at now days;))) Being fan of this place for the last 6 years. Clean facility and fresh ingredients. Everyone can find food for any taste. Eating from this Restaurant few times every month!!!! Thank “
“Yesterday, I met my long time friend George (Owner of Casserino Photography Studio) for lunch at Il Bacco in Little Neck two blocks from where I grew up … George and I met in 1980 when he moved here from DC … we worked for the same photography studio, Barkley’s in Forrest Hills Gardens … we became fast friends … our friendship & connection has stood the test of time even when it years or decades that we do not see each other face to face … we talk on the phone and that’s been awesome … it was so good to see you George and you look fabulous … for lunch we had Caprese Salad, Baked Clams & specially prepared Pork Chops (I haven’t had one in over 20 years) … the food was outstanding … I met the owner John who was a terrific & hospitable guy … Jennifer who was the Hostess was also fantastic … the bartender & waiter are absolute gems … I also met Brad & Chris at the bar while waiting for George … we talked and I shared my story … Brad bought me a bourbon and we all toasted to life … it was such a beautiful experience … new people and my long time friend … a stupendous lunch … I highly recommend Il Bacco … you will absolutely be satisfied … LIVE LOVE LAUGH & EAT ALWAYS … ????#CancerFree2024 #EyeOnTheFuture #LiveLoveLaughAlways #CancerWarrior #cancersurvivor #bestfriendsforever #diningout #ItalianRestaurant“
“I hate to not give this place 5 stars. The pizza was ok. The guy behind the counter made me feel like I was at home. He knew everybody that walked in the door (or at least made it seem like he did). Every restaurant should have that sort of “
“We ordered a decent size catering order for my daughter’s first birthday and the food was excellent! Penne allá vodka, chicken parm and my favorite the chicken francese all came out so delicious. Everyone at the party was raving about the food.“
